Definitions
- the present invention relates to a pouch forming method and apparatus, and more particularly, to a pouch forming method and apparatus that can maintain the drawing of a pouch film constantly when a cup portion of a pouch is formed, thereby preventing wrinkles from being generated in the cup portion.
- Cells and batteries that generate electrical energy through the physical reaction or chemical reaction of a material and supply power to the outside can not acquire the AC power supplied to the building depending on the living environment surrounded by various electronic devices It is used when DC power is needed.
- a primary cell is a consumable cell which is collectively referred to as a dry cell.
- a secondary battery is a rechargeable battery in which oxidation and reduction processes between an electric current and a substance are manufactured using a plurality of repeatable materials. That is, when the reduction reaction is performed on the workpiece by the current, the power source is charged. When the oxidation reaction is performed on the workpiece, the power source is discharged. Such charge-discharge is repeatedly performed to generate electricity.
- the secondary battery includes a nickel cadmium battery, a nickel metal hydride battery, a lithium ion battery, and a lithium ion polymer battery.
- a secondary battery is not limited to small-sized products such as a digital camera, a P-DVD, an MP3P, a mobile phone, a PDA, a portable game device, a power tool and an e-bike, It is also applied to power storage devices that store power and renewable energy, and backup power storage devices.
- the lithium secondary battery is generally formed by stacking a cathode, a separator, and an anode. These materials are selected in consideration of battery life, charge / discharge capacity, temperature characteristics, stability, and the like.
- the charging and discharging of the lithium secondary battery proceeds as the lithium ion is intercalated and deintercalated from the lithium metal oxide in the anode to the graphite electrode in the cathode.
- unit cells stacked in a three-layer structure of a cathode / separator / cathode or a five-layer structure of anode / separator / cathode / separator / anode or cathode / separator / anode / separator / cathode are gathered to be one electrode assembly .
- Such an electrode assembly is accommodated in a specific case.
- the secondary battery is classified into a pouch type and a can type according to the material of the case housing the electrode assembly.
- the pouch type accommodates the electrode assembly in a pouch made of a flexible polymer material having a non-uniform shape.
- the can type accommodates the electrode assembly in a case made of a material such as metal or plastic having a constant shape.
- a pouch as a case of a pouch type secondary battery is manufactured by forming a cup portion in a pouch film having a soft material. That is, when the cup portion having the accommodating space for accommodating the electrode assembly is formed on the pouch film, the electrode assembly is housed in the accommodating space of the cup portion, and the sealing portion is sealed to manufacture the secondary battery.
- the pouch film is subjected to drawing forming, and such a cup portion is formed and a pouch is produced.
- drawing-forming is carried out by inserting a pouch film into a press and drawing by punching.
- the stretching force of the pouch film was not uniform, wrinkles were generated in the cup portion, which deteriorated the appearance and hindered the quality of the product. Further, wrinkles are generated, the thickness of the pouch is not uniform, the thickness of the pouch is thin, and a weak portion is generated, thereby shortening the life of the pouch.
- the cup portion is formed by inserting the pouch film into the opening formed in the center portion of the die.
- the punch applies pressure to the pouch film, and the pouch film is stretched.
- the pouch forming device is disassembled to directly change the position of the black-keeper holder formed inside the opening portion.
- a problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a pouch forming method and apparatus which uniformly disperses the stretching force acting on the pouch film in forming the cup portion of the pouch, prevents the occurrence of wrinkles in the cup portion and does not hurt the appearance.
