　特許文献４～７には、装着型の排泄物処理装置が開示される。この装置では、患者や介護者の腰部に装置を装着しておき、ベッドから起きることなくこの装置によって排泄物を回収できるようになっている。また、装着した装置から温水などを噴射して肛門等を洗浄したり、温風などで乾燥したりできるようになっている。

　本発明は、不快な臭いの問題を改善することのできる排泄物回収装置を提供することを目的とする。
　上記課題を解決するため、本発明の一態様である排泄物回収装置は、ベッド本体のフレーム部に載置されるマットレスの下方に配置され、マットレスに設けられた貫通孔に嵌められるカップと、前記カップに接続される回収用パイプと、前記カップ内の空間に、香料を含む空気を供給する給気手段とを備える。
　このような構成により、カップ内部に不快な臭い気にならなくさせる香料が充満した状態とさせることが可能になり、結果的に不快なにおいがしない状態にできる。

　第１支持部分１１１Ａ、第３支持部分１１１Ｃおよび第４支持部分１１１Ｄのそれぞれの角度調整は連動して行われてもよいし、独立して角度調整できるようになっていてもよい。本実施形態では、第１支持部分１１１Ａは独立して角度調整可能となっており、第３支持部分１１１Ｃと第４支持部分１１１Ｄとは連動して角度調整される。
　このようなフレーム部１１の上にマットレス３０を載置し、第１支持部分１１１Ａ、第３支持部分１１１Ｃおよび第４支持部分１１１Ｄを水平にすることで、マットレス３０全体は水平となる。これにより、利用者は平らに寝ることができる。
　一方、第１支持部分１１１Ａ、第３支持部分１１１Ｃおよび第４支持部分１１１Ｄを傾斜させることで、これらの傾斜に合わせてマットレス３０の第１部分３１、第３部分３３および第４部分３４も傾斜することになる。利用者は、マットレス３０の第１部分３１、第３部分３３および第４部分３４の傾斜によって身体を起こしたり、座るような姿勢をとったりすることができる。
　例えば、第１支持部分１１１Ａを傾斜させるとマットレス３０の背に対応した第１部分３１が起き上がり、利用者の背を起こすことができる。また、第３支持部分１１１Ｃおよび第４支持部分１１１Ｄを山型になるように傾斜させると、マットレス３０の第３部分３３および第４部分３４が山型に折れ曲がり、利用者の膝を持ち上げるようになる。図２（ｂ）には、マットレス３０の傾斜状態の一例が示されている。
　マットレス３０の第２部分３２の中央部は、マットレス３０の本体から着脱可能な分離部３２ａとなっている。そしてこの分離部３２ａには貫通孔３２ｈが設けられている。貫通孔３２ｈは、排泄物回収部４０の一部であるカップ４１が嵌る穴である。貫通孔３２ｈの周囲は、通常の使用、メンテナンス、おむつカバーの交換などの際に汚れやすいが、マットレス３０の本体から着脱可能な分離部３２ａに貫通孔３２ｈが設けられることにより、マットレス３０の本体から分離部３２ａを取り外して洗浄したり、分離部３２ａのみを交換したりすることが可能となる。また、分離部３２ａのバリエーションとして、貫通孔３２ｈが設けられていないものを用意してもよい。排泄物回収装置２０を使用しない場合には、貫通孔３２ｈの無い分離部３２ａを用いることで通常のマットレスと同様の快適性を得ることができる。また、貫通孔３２ｈの無い分離部３２ａを用意する代わりに、排泄物回収装置２０を使用しない場合に、貫通孔３２ｈを塞ぐ蓋部を用意してもよい。この蓋部はマットレス３０と同等のクッション性を持つようにするとよい。また、第２部分３２を支持するフレーム部１１の第２支持部分１１１Ｂには貫通孔３２ｈに対応して孔１１１ｈが設けられている。フレーム部１１の上にマットレス３０を載置すると、第２部分３２の貫通孔３２ｈと、その下の第２支持部分１１１Ｂの孔１１１ｈとが合うようになっている。この貫通孔３２ｈおよび孔１１１ｈを介して利用者の排泄物をベッド本体１０の下方に配置された排泄物回収装置２０へ送ることができる。
　図３（ａ）および（ｂ）は、排泄物回収装置２０を例示する模式図である。
　図３（ａ）にはベッド本体１０の横から見た模式図が示され、図３（ｂ）にはベッド本体１０の上から見た模式図が示される。
　排泄物回収装置２０は、ベッド装置１００のベッド本体１０に取り付けられる。具体的には、排泄物回収装置２０は、貫通孔３２ｈに取り付けられる排泄物回収部４０と、排泄物回収部４０で回収した排泄物を収納すると、排泄物回収部４０に取り付けられ、貫通孔３２ｈを介して上方に洗浄水を噴射する洗浄部２２と、洗浄後に空気や温風を殿部Ｈに吹き付けることにより殿部Ｈを乾燥させる給気部２３と、を有する。
　排泄物回収部４０は、マットレス３０の貫通孔３２ｈに嵌められるカップ４１と、カップ４１に接続される回収用パイプ４５とを有する。カップ４１と回収用パイプ４５とは分離しており、カップ４１の下方に延びるパイプが回収用パイプ４５の上端部から差し込まれている。カップ４１は、利用者Ｐが装着するおむつカバー５００に取り付けられている。これにより、利用者Ｐがおむつカバーを装着することで、カップ４１を利用者の殿部Ｈの位置に当てておくことができる。
　洗浄部２２は、洗浄水を溜める洗浄水タンク２２０と、洗浄水タンク２２０から洗浄水をカップ４１の位置まで送り込む送水ホース２２１とを有する。送水ホース２２１の先端はカップ４１の途中に差し込まれており、洗浄水を殿部Ｈに噴射できるようになっている。洗浄水は洗浄水タンク２２０で温められて温水になっていてもよい。
　給気部２３は、本発明における給気手段に相当する。給気部２３は、洗浄後に空気や温風を殿部Ｈに吹き付けることで、洗浄水で濡れた殿部Ｈを乾燥させる。図４は給気部２３の構成を示す模式図である。給気部２３は、送風ポンプ２３２及び香料源２３３を備える。香料源２３３は、送風ポンプ２３２の吸気口の近傍に配置される。送風ポンプ２３２の排気口には、送風ホース２３４が接続される。送風ホース２３４は、送水ホース２２１と並列に、カップ４１の途中に差し込まれる（図６参照）。給気部２３は、供給する空気を温めるヒータをさらに備えてもよい。送風ポンプ２３２は、本発明における送風手段の一例であり、送風ポンプに代えて送風ファン等を用いることもできる。
　香料源２３３は、水やエチルアルコールで希釈された香料をしみ込ませた香料保持体である。香料保持体としては、例えばスポンジ、綿、布、不織布、紙類等を用いることができる。香料保持体にしみ込ませる香料としては、食品添加物として認められた香料を用いることが好ましい。食品添加物として認められた香料であれば、殿部Ｈ等に触れたとしても悪影響を及ぼす可能性を低くすることができる。香料としては、例えばナッツ系の香りの成分を含む香料を用いるとよい。香料保持体にしみ込ませた香料は、徐々に蒸発して、送風ポンプ２３２により送風が行われる際に、送風ホース２３４を通してカップ４１内に供給される。
　図５（ａ）および（ｂ）は、回収用パイプ４５の途中に設けられた弁について例示する模式断面図である。
　回収パイプ４５の途中には弁４５１が設けられている。図５（ａ）に示すように、通常の状態では錘４５２の作用によって弁４５１が閉じている。弁４５１が閉じていることで、排泄物収納部２１に溜められた排泄物から発生する臭いを止めることができる。
　利用者Ｐが排泄した場合には、図５（ｂ）に示すように、排泄物の重さによって弁４５１が開き、回収用パイプ４５から排泄物収納部２１に排泄物が送られる。排泄物が送られた後は、再び錘４５２の作用によって弁４５１が閉じるようになる。
　ここで、錘４５２の動きや弁４５１の開閉の状態をセンサ（例えば、リミットスイッチ、光電センサ等）によって検出し、弁４５１が開いたことを検知した際に送水ホース２２１から洗浄水を噴射し、洗浄後に送風ホース２３４から空気や温風を吹き付ける制御を行う。
（排泄物回収部）
　図６は、排泄物回収部を例示する斜視図である。
　図７は、利用者とカップとの位置関係を例示する模式図である。
　排泄物回収部４０のカップ４１は漏斗型になっており、上方の開口で排泄物を受けて、下方に接続された回収用パイプ４５に排泄物を送るようになっている。本実施形態では、カップ４１の縁から上方に延出する凸部４２が設けられる。利用者がマットレス３０の上に仰向けで寝た際、凸部４２が利用者Ｐの左右の殿部Ｈの間に挿入される。殿部Ｈへの当たりを優しくするため、凸部４２の先端部は丸みを帯びた形状に設けられている。
　また、カップ４１の縁に、シート５０の円形開口部縁が接合される。接合方法は融着としてもよいし、接着としてもよい。また、カップ４１とシート５０を一体として成型してもよい。シート５０は、例えばシリコーン樹脂製のシート体であり、柔軟性や肌触りに優れ、汚れが付着しにくいものとなっている。シート５０の材質を他のプラスチックやラテックスゴム等とすることも考えられるが、材質によっては、アレルギーを発生させる等の問題が生じうるため、シリコーン樹脂を用いることが特に好ましい。また、カップ４１もシート５０と同様にシリコーン樹脂製とするとよい。なお、通常、シリコーン樹脂は疎水性（親油性）であるため、油分を含む排泄物が付着し流れにくくなってしまう。そこで、カップ４１及びシート５０における排泄物と接する面のシリコーン樹脂をコーティング等によって親水性に改質することが好ましい。
　先に説明したように、カップ４１は、シート５０とともにおむつカバー５００に取り付けられる。おむつカバー５００は、例えば耐水性を備えたプラスチックフィルムによって形成されている。このおむつカバー５００のほぼ中央にはカップ４１を取り付けるための開口部が設けられている。図７に示されているように、カップ４１の周囲において、シート５０とおむつカバーとの隙間には尿取りパッド５１０が挟まれる。
　このような構成によって、利用者Ｐがおむつカバーを装着することで、カップ４１が殿部Ｈにセットされる状態になる。おむつカバー５００を装着した利用者Ｐがマットレス３０の上に仰向けで寝ると、利用者Ｐの殿部Ｈが丁度貫通孔３２ｈの上に位置するようになり、カップ４１が貫通孔３２ｈ内に収まる。カップ４１の下方には回収用パイプ４５が設けられ、弁４５１を介してベッド本体１０の下方の排泄物回収装置２０まで達している。カップ４１の途中には洗浄水タンク２２０から延びる送水ホース２２１の先端が差し込まれるとともに、送風ホース２３４の先端が差し込まれている。
　利用者Ｐがマットレス３０に仰向けで寝ると、殿部Ｈの位置と第２部分３２とが対応する。この際、肛門Ａの下方に第２部分３２の貫通孔３２ｈに嵌めたカップ４１が配置される。また、カップ４１の凸部４２が左右の殿部Ｈの間に差し込まれる。これにより、凸部４２の幅に応じて左右の殿部Ｈが拡げられることになる。
　凸部４２によって左右の殿部Ｈが拡げられると、肛門Ａから出された排泄物が殿部Ｈに付着しにくくなる。また、排泄が終わった後に送水ホース２２１から洗浄水を噴射する際、左右の殿部Ｈが拡げられていることで、肛門周辺の洗浄領域を広く確保することができ、肛門Ａおよびその周辺の殿部Ｈを洗浄しやすくなる。また、送風ホース２３４から空気や温風を吹き付けて乾燥させる際にも、左右の殿部Ｈが拡げられていることで乾きやすくなる。
　本実施形態の排泄物回収装置２０において、排泄物は、カップ４１や回収用パイプ４５を通って排泄物収納部２１に収容される。回収用パイプ４５の途中に設けられた弁４５１よりも排泄物収納部２１の不快な臭いは、弁４５１により止められるが、弁４５１よりもカップ４１側に残留した不快な臭いは、利用者Ｐの殿部Ｈ、カップ４１、回収用パイプ４５、及び弁４５１による空間（以下ではカップ内空間と呼ぶ）内に溜まる。
　カップ内空間には、上述のように送風ホース２３４から殿部Ｈを乾かすための空気が供給されるが、この供給される空気には香料源２３３から放出された香料が含まれている。したがって、カップ内空間には、排泄物の不快な臭いと香料の香りの成分とが混合された空気が溜まることになる。一般に、香水には多数の香料の成分が含まれているが、その中には不快な臭いの成分も含まれている。この不快な臭いの成分は、香水の香りにコクを持たせる作用があるとされ、その香りを嗅いでも不快な臭いは感じられず、むしろ香水の香りの質が高まったように感じられる。カップ内空間に溜まったっている空気は、排泄物の不快な臭いと香料の香りが混じり、香水の成分に類似した成分となっている。このため、排泄物の臭気が気にならなくなる。カップ内空間に溜まっている不快な臭いの成分が、カップ４１と殿部Ｈの隙間などを通って外部に漏れたり、メンテナンスや交換のためにおむつカバー５００を開けたりした場合でも、排泄物の不快な臭いの成分は香料の香りの成分と混じっているため、排泄物の臭いは気にならない。
（排泄処理）
　図８は、排泄処理を例示する模式図である。
　図９は、マットレスの角度を例示する模式図である。
　利用者Ｐは、水平なマットレス３０に仰向けに寝たまま排泄処理することもできるが、図８に示すように、マットレス３０の第１部分３１を起こして背を立てるようにして排泄処理することもできる。
　第１支持部分１１１Ａを傾斜させてマットレス３０の第１部分３１を起こす場合、図９に示すように、第１支持部分１１１Ａに対する第３支持部分１１１Ｃの角度θ１を９０度未満（鋭角）にすることが好ましい。また、第１支持部分１１１Ａの水平に対する角度θ２は７０度程度にする。第４支持部分１１１Ｄは第３支持部分１１１Ｃと連動して足先が下がるように傾斜させる。第２支持部分１１１Ｂは傾斜しない。
　第１支持部分１１１Ａ、第３支持部分１１１Ｃおよび第４支持部分１１１Ｄの傾斜に合わせて、マットレス３０の第１部分３１が立ち上がり、利用者Ｐの背が起きる。また、マットレス３０の第３部分３３および第４部分３４の傾斜によって利用者Ｐの膝が上がる状態になる。
　このようなマットレス３０の角度によって、利用者Ｐの腰はトイレの便座に座っているような角度（鋭角）に曲げられる。腰が鋭角に曲がることで、肛門が拡がりやすくなり、肛門に向かう腸の向きも排泄しやすい角度になる。本実施形態のようなマットレス３０の角度にすることで、利用者Ｐは真っ直ぐ仰向けで寝ている状態に比べて、楽に排泄できることになる。
　さらに、本実施形態ではカップ４１に設けられた凸部４２によって左右の殿部Ｈが拡げられている。したがって、排泄物が殿部Ｈに付着しにくく、カップ４１で確実に回収できるようになる。
　また、排泄が終わった後は、洗浄部２２の送水ホース２２１から殿部Ｈに向けて洗浄水を噴射する。この際、排泄の際と同様なマットレス３０の角度のまま洗浄を行う。利用者Ｐの殿部Ｈは下方（カップ４１側）に向けて突き出した格好になっており、しかも凸部４２によって左右の殿部Ｈが拡げられた状態になっている。したがって、洗浄水を的確に殿部Ｈや肛門Ａに向けて噴射し、洗浄できることになる。
　また、殿部Ｈが下方に突き出していることで、洗浄した後の水が殿部Ｈよりも上（背中や太もも側）に回りにくくなる。洗浄した後の水は、利用者Ｐの最も下方である殿部Ｈから垂れて、カップ４１で回収されることになる。
　洗浄水による洗浄を行った後は、送風ホース２３４から空気や温風を吹き付ける。これにより、洗浄水が吹き飛ばされ、殿部Ｈを乾燥させることができる。
　また、本実施形態の排泄物回収装置２０では、乾燥処理後、吸引を行わないので、オムツカバーを開けた時に、オムツカバー内やカップ内部に不快な臭い気にならなくさせる香料が充満した状態になり、結果的に不快なにおいがしない状態にできる。
　以上説明したように、実施形態によれば、不快な臭いの問題を改善することのできる排泄物回収装置を提供することが可能となる。
　なお、上記に本実施形態およびその変形例を説明したが、本発明はこれらの例に限定されるものではない。例えば、前述の各実施形態またはその変形例に対して、当業者が適宜、構成要素の追加、削除、設計変更を行ったものや、各実施形態の特徴を適宜組み合わせたものも、本発明の要旨を備えている限り、本発明の範囲に包含される。

Claims (5)

  1. 　ベッド本体のフレーム部に載置されるマットレスの下方に配置される排泄物回収装置であって、
    　前記マットレスに設けられた貫通孔に嵌められるカップと、
    　前記カップに接続される回収用パイプと、
    　前記カップ内の空間に、香料を含む空気を供給する給気手段と
    　を備えたことを特徴とする排泄物回収装置。
  2. 　前記給気手段は、
    　給気部と、
    　前記給気部の吸気口の近傍に配置される香料源と、
    　前記給気部の排気口と前記カップとを接続する送風手段と
    　を備えることを特徴とする請求項１に記載の排泄物回収装置。
  3. 　洗浄水を利用者の殿部に噴射して前記殿部を洗浄する洗浄部をさらに備え、
    　前記給気手段は、前記洗浄部による洗浄後に前記殿部に空気を吹き付けることにより前記殿部を乾燥させることを特徴とする請求項１または２に記載の排泄物回収装置。
  4. 　排泄物を収容する排泄物収容部を備え、
    　排泄物を吸引して前記排泄物収容部内に収容するための吸引手段を有さないことを特徴とする請求項１から３の何れか１項に記載の排泄物回収装置。
  5. 　前記排泄物収容部と前記カップとの間に、前記排泄物収容部に収容された排泄物の臭いを止める弁が設けられることを特徴とする請求項１から４の何れか１項に記載の排泄物回収装置。
