Definitions
- the present invention relates to a video streaming playback system and method for providing a video hosting service.
- video hosting website services can be broadly classified into two.
- One is a video hosting site of advertising revenue model that allows users to watch videos for free by delivering advertisements (video, image, audio and text) on the site, and YouTube, Facebook Video as a representative service , Dailymotion (both registered trademarks).
- the other is a pay-as-you-go model in which users pay viewing fees, and representative services include NetFlix, Amazon Video and YouTube Red (all registered trademarks).
- the video hosting website of the first ad revenue model has the disadvantage that users are free to watch the video but many users find the ads in the video site offensive.
- the mainstream of video site advertising is online targeting advertising, which grasps the user's location (geographical location), age, gender, etc. from the user's video viewing records and the IP address of the site connection, and operates the site based on those information.
- Online targeting advertising grasps the user's location (geographical location), age, gender, etc. from the user's video viewing records and the IP address of the site connection, and operates the site based on those information.
- This is a mechanism to hit cost-effective advertising.
- the user is watching the video free of charge for the privacy disclosure / collection.
- no matter how much the technology of online targeting advertising advances the purpose is for the user to watch the video, and it is natural for the user to feel offensive for the advertisement that breaks into the video viewing.
- a good (Like) or a bad (Like) evaluation of YouTube and Facebook Video is merely an evaluation based on the sensibility that the user has individually, and is not theoretical.
- the video hosting website of the advertising revenue model has the problem that the copyright holder prohibits the video download saving to the user terminal of the entire video including the video which has been clarified. It also prohibits background playback where users can listen to video music while launching other browsers and apps. The reason is that the user can download and save the video to their terminal, which enables the user to watch the video offline, block the cost-effective online targeting advertisement, and it becomes difficult to secure the advertising revenue It is from. And listening to video music in the background without the user looking at the video site means blocking the ad.
- Video hosting websites on one pay model do not disclose video content, so that viewers do not know the video content and unilaterally pay the amount that the video site decides before the value of the video is known Is configured. At paid sites, users can not judge the value of video content, and it can not be said to be a fair deal, as it is a prepaid one-off fee, and the user bears a risk.
- An object of the present invention is to solve such a problem and to provide a system capable of securing a profit of a video hosting website operator and a content provider.

- Chip payment rate evaluation algorithm example In this system, as one of the evaluation algorithms based on the chip payment rate (%), in this system, videos with high chip payment rates are ranked high and low videos are ranked low, as shown in Table 1 below. Adopt a method to calculate the evaluation according to
- the chip payment rate is evaluated in 10 steps of 0.5 to 5.0 (10 points method), the highest evaluation value is 5.0, the lowest evaluation value is 0.5, and the numbers (numbers) and stars ( Display in stars). Also, an algorithm is set for each video category, and evaluation application conditions (minimum number of viewing times, etc.) are set.
- Chip payment rate evaluation algorithm example (average value base point) Also, as another example of the evaluation algorithm, based on the average chip payment rate (%) as shown in Table 2 below, the highest chip payment rate (%) to the average chip payment rate (%) are divided into five steps, and From the average chip payment rate (%) to the minimum chip payment rate (%) is divided into 5 levels, the numerical range for each evaluation is calculated, and an algorithm that represents evaluation in 10 levels (10-point method) is adopted.
- the average chip payment rate is 7.50%
- the highest value is 30.00%
- the lowest value is 0.10%
- the average value of 7.50% is divided into 5 steps
- the numerical range for each evaluation is calculated as described below.
- the evaluation calculated in this manner is represented by an asterisk and the number of stars as indicated by reference numeral 401 in the interface of FIG.
- the algorithm associated with this chip acquisition amount can be applied to the calculation method (evaluation in order) described in the previous table 1, and the video is ranked by the chip acquisition amount, and the evaluation is calculated in 10 stages (10 points method) Displayed with numbers (numerical values) and stars (number of stars).
- the calculation method (evaluation based on the average value base point) described in the previous Table 2 can be applied, and the average chip acquisition price is divided into five steps from the highest chip acquisition price to the average chip acquisition price,
- This is an algorithm that divides the amount of money from the acquisition amount to the minimum chip acquisition amount in 5 steps, calculates the numerical range for each evaluation, and expresses the evaluation in 10 steps (10 points method). Then, an algorithm is set for each video category, and evaluation application conditions (minimum number of views, etc.) are set.
- the algorithm for calculating the video evaluation described above and in the previous section is merely an example, and various video evaluation algorithms are installed in the video evaluation value generation module 204 based on the chip payment rate and chip sales accompanying the user's chip payment. It is possible. And, with regard to the video evaluation value, although displayed in 10 steps (10-point method) in the above example, it is also possible to display with a 100-point method (maximum 100: minimum 1).
- evaluation display of the user interface can be installed by other evaluation display methods capable of expressing evaluation numerical values, such as bar graphs, besides numbers (numerical values) and stars.
- the video evaluation value generation module 204 associates all video evaluations related to chip payment with a video ID, a user ID 160, and stores them in the video database 130 and the user database 131.
Prepaid USD 25.00 = 25.30 TipCoins (Reward *0.30 TipCoins)
・Prepaid USD 50.00 = 51.00 TipCoins (Reward *1.00 TipCoins)
・Prepaid USD 100.00 = 103.00 TipCoins (Reward *3.00 TipCoins)
