Definitions
- the present invention relates to a backflush needle used in vitreous surgery.
- Vitreous surgery to be performed by ophthalmology is a surgery for sucking and removing a proliferation film on the retina formed by denaturation of jelly-like vitreous body and vitreous body in the eye, hemorrhage, turbidity and the like.
- a back flush needle see, for example, Patent Document 1.
- FIG. 4 is an explanatory view of the use of the back flush needle.
- the back flush needle 110 has a thin tubular needle body 11 connected to the handle 12 gripped by the practitioner and inserted into the eye, and a soft member 20 connected to the tip of the needle body 11.
- the soft member 20 is provided so as not to damage the retina even if the tip of the instrument comes in contact with the retina during surgery, and by providing the soft member 20, it is also possible to aspirate vitreous or the like near the retina. It becomes possible.
- connection between the needle main body 11 and the soft member 20 is made by using an adhesive or by fitting the connection portion.
- the material is not particularly limited as the soft member 20, for example, a silicone resin can be used, and the shape is not limited to a tubular shape, and may be a brush-like shape.
- the backflush needle 110 is used through a cannula 30 attached to the eye E.
- the cannula 30 is a metallic cannula pipe 31 fitted in a resinous cannula base 32.
- the cannula pipe 31 is pierced into the sclera, but at this time the cannula base 32 functions as a stopper so as not to pierce too much.
- a cannula cap covering the rear end of the cannula pipe 31 from the cannula base 32 in order to prevent the vitreous humor from being discharged from the eye through the cannula pipe 31 33 is used.
- the cannula cap 33 is provided with a slit for passing an ophthalmic surgical instrument such as the back flush needle 110 or the like.
- the soft member 20 at the tip contacts the slit of the cannula cap 33 or the hollow inner surface of the cannula pipe 32 to deform the soft member 20 or
- the connection with the needle body 11 may be peeled off.
- the soft member 20 When the soft member 20 is deformed, it may be a factor that inhibits suction of the vitreous body etc.
- the soft member 20 When the soft member 20 is removed from the needle main body 11, it is difficult to take out the soft member 20 from the inside of the eye.
- the present invention aims to provide a backflush needle capable of retaining the shape of the soft member at the tip when passing through a cannula.
- a backflush needle according to the present invention is a backflush needle for use in eye surgery through an eyepiece-mounted cannula, comprising a tubular needle body penetrating the cannula and the tip of the needle body. And a rod-shaped core member penetrating through the hollows of the needle main body and the soft member, the core member being movable in the axial direction, the core The tip of the member can be protruded from the soft member or retracted to a position away from the needle body.
- the core member is joined to the moving member, and it is preferable that axial movement of the core member is performed by moving the moving member projecting from the handle portion to which the needle body is joined.
- the backflush needle of the present invention when passing the needle main body through the cannula, it is possible to suppress the deformation and removal of the soft member connected to the tip of the needle main body.
- FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the tip of the backflush needle of the present invention.
- (a) And (b) is a figure which illustrates another movement member. It is use explanatory drawing of a back flush needle.
- FIG. 1 is an explanatory view of a back flush needle according to the present invention, wherein (a) is a front view, (b) is an internal structural view in which the core member is protruded, and (c) is an internal structural view in which the core member is retracted. It is.
- FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the tip of the back flush needle of the present invention.
- the cannula through which the backflush needle 10 passes has the same configuration as a conventional cannula, in which a metallic cannula pipe is fitted into a resinous cannula base. And, a cannula cap is provided covering the cannula base and the rear end of the cannula pipe in order to suppress the drainage of the vitreous humor through the cannula pipe when mounted in the eye.
- the basic configuration of the backflush needle 10 also has a thin tubular needle main body 11 connected to the handle 12 gripped by the practitioner, and a soft member 20 connected to the tip of the needle main body 11 as in the prior art.
- the soft member 20 is formed of a soft material such as silicone resin and has a tubular shape similar to that of the needle main body 11, and the outer diameter and the hollow diameter are approximately the same as the needle main body 11. Further, the connection between the needle main body 11 and the soft member 20 is also performed by bonding using an adhesive, or by making the connection portion into a fitting structure, as in the prior art.
- the backflush needle 10 of the present invention is characterized in that it has a needle body 11 and a core member 21 penetrating the hollow hollow of the soft member 20.
- the material of the core member 21 is suitably stainless steel, but is not particularly limited to stainless steel.
- the core member 21 is a rod-like member having an outer diameter slightly smaller than the hollow diameter of the needle main body 11 and the soft member 20, and is connected to a moving member 22 capable of moving the core member 21 from the outside of the handle 12. If the core member 21 is too thin, the deformation of the soft member 20 can not be suppressed, and if the diameter of the hollow of the needle main body 11 and the soft member 20 is substantially the same, the core member 21 is axially back and forth When moving the core member 21 due to friction, the movement of the core member 21 becomes dull, or the soft member 20 is caught by the soft member 20 to cause the soft member 20 to be detached from the needle main body 11. A slightly smaller outer diameter should be used.
- the moving member 22 illustrated in FIG. 1 protrudes from the side surface of the handle 12, and by moving the core member 21 in the axial direction by pinching the moving member 22 and moving it in the axial direction of the backflush needle 10, it can.
- the structure of the moving member may be other than the structure of FIG. (A) and (b) of FIG. 3 is a figure which illustrates another moving member. Note that, since these drawings simply illustrate the structure of the moving member 22, members unnecessary for the description are omitted.
- a spring 41 is provided in the inside of the handle 12 like a structure for putting in and out the core of a knock type ball pen, and pressing the button-shaped moving member 22 provided at the rear end of the handle 12
- the structure is such that the member 21 is moved back and forth in the axial direction.
- the screw member 42 is connected to the core member 21 and the screw member 42 is moved in the axial direction by rotating and moving the moving member 22, so the core member 21 is also moved in the axial direction. It is the structure that can be done.
- the moving member 22 is not limited to these structures, and any other structure may be used as long as the core member 21 can be moved back and forth in the axial direction.
- the soft member 20 and the needle main body 11 can project from the soft member 20 when the core member 21 projects from the soft member 20 when penetrating the cannula. It is possible to prevent the deformation of 20 and the peeling off of the connection portion between the soft member 20 and the needle main body 11. Then, during the suction operation, the vitreous body and the like can be suctioned without problems by retracting the core member 21.
