  • the squeeze ratio of the anamorphic lens group 16a may be varied by about 3% of 1.25, or 1.255, to provide an anamorphic lens group 16b having a squeeze ratio of approximately 1.29.
  • the 3% adjustment may be achieved by introducing or enhancing the size ot an air gap between the front element of the anamorphic lens group 16b and the astigmatizers .
