Definitions
- the present specification relates to a transfer state inspection system and a component mounter for inspecting a transfer state of a transfer material of any one of solder, flux, conductor paste, and adhesive transferred to a plurality of terminals on the lower surface side of an electronic component by image processing.
- the technology is disclosed.
- Patent Document 1 Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2008-216140
- a transfer tank for storing a transfer material such as solder is set in a component mounter, and an electronic component supplied from a component supply device is set.
- Adhere to the suction nozzle immerse the terminals on the lower surface of the electronic component in the transfer material in the transfer tank, transfer the transfer material to the terminals, and then mount the electronic component on the circuit board.
- a POP mounting in which the electronic component is mounted on a mounted component on a circuit board.
- transfer failure any one of the plurality of terminals on the lower surface side of the electronic component has a poor transfer state of the transfer material (hereinafter simply referred to as “transfer failure”), the electronic component is considered to be defective in mounting. Therefore, after the transfer, the lower surface side of the electronic component is imaged by the camera, and the transfer state of the transfer material is inspected by image processing for all the terminals on the lower surface side of the electronic component, and any one of the terminals is determined as a transfer failure. If so, the electronic component is discarded or re-transferred, and only the electronic components that are determined to have a good transfer material transfer state (no transfer failure) are mounted on all terminals.
- the inspection of the transfer state of the transfer material may not be stable, and the inspection accuracy may deteriorate.
- the difference in the shape of the terminals to be transferred may cause the transfer inspection to become unstable.
- the transfer inspection tends to be less stable than the round terminal.
- a difference in terminal size or terminal gloss may be a factor, or a variation in lighting state of each terminal due to a difference in position of each terminal may be a factor.
- the transfer inspection itself of the electronic component may be canceled. If the transfer inspection itself is canceled, all electronic components having defective transfer terminals are mounted, so that mounting defects due to transfer defects cannot be prevented at all. However, if all terminals of electronic components with terminals that have unstable transfer inspections are uniformly transferred and inspected, the number of parts that are not actually transfer defects are erroneously determined as transfer defects and discarded or retransferred. It increases and productivity decreases.

- designating whether transfer inspection is necessary or not whether the transfer inspection is not stable due to the shape, size, position, gloss, etc. of the terminals can be determined by the experience and production results of the operator. If it is specified that inspection is not required for a terminal that is not stable for transfer inspection among a plurality of terminals, stable transfer inspection can be performed for other terminals.
- transfer inspection is not stable for some terminals, so even for electronic parts that have unavoidable transfer inspection itself, transfer inspection can be performed except for some terminals where transfer inspection is not stable. Mounting defects due to can be greatly reduced.
- the accuracy and reliability of transfer inspection can be improved compared to the case where all terminals of electronic components with terminals with unstable transfer inspection are uniformly transferred and inspected in the same way as before. It is possible to greatly reduce the number of parts that are not transferred and are discarded or re-transferred because they are erroneously determined as transfer defects.
- the terminal with a relatively high probability of occurrence of transfer failure due to the shape, size, position, gloss, etc. of the terminal depends on the operator's experience and production results, etc.
