- the locking plate 5 is formed with slots 8 for the protrusions 7 of the joint rail 3, said slots being in a longitudinal direction of the locking plate 5 sufficiently extensive at one edge thereof to allow the protrusion 7 to pass through, and said slots narrowing towards an opposite edge of the slot as seen from fig. 1 B.
- the locking plate 5 will settle within the range of narrow- ings formed on the protrusions 7, whereby, when the locking plate 5 is displaced relative to the joint enclosure in its lengthwise direction, the narrowing section of the slots 8 settles within the range of narrowings of the protrusions 7 in a form closed manner so as to secure the roof panel 1 in its place with respect to the roof truss 2 as depicted in fig. 1 A. - the check rail 14 has a width matching substantially that of the roof truss 2 in order to fit, in the illustrated embodiment, between the side flanges of the joint rail 13 with a suitable clearance so as to enable a movement of the check rail 14 between the side flanges of the joint rail 13 in a lengthwise direction thereof with relative ease.
- the check rail 14 is preferably constructed from metal and it can be fastened to the bottom surface of the roof panel 1 for example by welding in case the roof panel has its bottom surface of metal, with adhesive, screw fastening or rivets.
- the check rail 14 is formed with grooves 18 as depicted in fig. 2B.
- These grooves 18 consist of two segments within edge flanges of the check rail 14, of which segments the first groove segment extends in the plane of the check rail's side surface perpendicularly with respect to the check rail's longitudinal direction and the second groove segment extends from the end of the first groove segment in the plane of the check rail's side surface lengthwise of the check rail as depicted in fig. 2B.
- the first groove segment of the groove 18 has a width which is substantially greater than the diameter of the rung 17, for example 2 or 3 times the diameter of the rung 17, and the second groove segment of the groove 18 has a width which substantially matches the diameter of the rung 17 with a suitable added clearance.
- a fastening according to the embodiment depicted in figs. 2A and 2B is achieved by hoisting a roof panel 1 equipped with a check rail 14 onto the top of a joint rail 13 resting upon a roof truss 2 in such a way that each of the check rail profile's flanges settles between the joint rail's side flanges and the first groove segments of a groove 18 settle at the rungs 17. This is followed by lowering the roof panel 1 , whereby the outermost ends of the check rail's 14 flanges settle against the surface of the joint rail's 13 central web.
- the roof panel is displaced jointly with the check rail relative to the joint rail 14 in a lengthwise direction of these rails, the rungs 17 proceeding to the ends of the groove's 18 second groove segment and the attachment between joint rail and check rail being established as depicted in fig. 2B.

Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de construction d'un toit, ledit procédé consistant d'abord à construire, pour une partie supérieure du bâtiment, une structure de support porteur pour le toit à partir de fermes (2) et à construire au-dessus de ladite structure de support une structure de toit, ladite structure de toit comprenant une pluralité de panneaux de toit préfabriqués (1), lesdits panneaux de toit étant hissés sur le dessus de fermes (2) comprises dans la structure de support située dans la partie supérieure du bâtiment et étant fixés aux fermes, la fixation des panneaux de toit (1) aux fermes (2) étant effectuée à l'aide d'au moins une pièce de verrouillage (5, 14, 27), par déplacement de ladite pièce de verrouillage (5, 14) par rapport à une ferme (2) et/ou à un panneau de toit (1) présent au-dessus de ladite ferme dans un plan sensiblement parallèle à une surface de jonction de la ferme et/ou du panneau de toit, ou par déplacement d'un panneau de toit (1) par rapport à la pièce de verrouillage (27) dans une direction définie par l'axe central longitudinal de la pièce de verrouillage, achevant une fixation et un verrouillage du panneau de toit en place par rapport à la ferme. L'invention concerne également un toit construit avec un tel procédé.
