In addition, the use of multiple separate conveyor units 19 contributes to the efficiency as they allow for queuing/buffering of multiple storage bins 30 in the picking/supply station. Further, the picking/supply station assembly provides an improvement to the work environment as the risk of an operator getting squeezed or trapped between the storage bin and parts of the lifting device or picking/supply station is eliminated.
