Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système d'information d'expédition pour délivrer des envois postaux (P), en particulier des colis. L'envoi postal (P) est transporté depuis un expéditeur (A) au moyen d'un réseau de transport (T) pour être délivré à un destinataire (E). Des données d'expédition et/ou des données de transport de l'envoi postal (P) sont mémorisées dans au moins un système d'information d'expédition (S) pour le déroulement du transport et/ou de la livraison. En vue de la réception par le destinataire (E), l'envoi postal est adressé à un centre de retrait (A) sélectionné par le destinataire (E) et est transporté vers le centre de retrait au moyen du réseau de transport (T). L'envoi postal (P) est reçu par le centre de retrait (A) et/ou par le personnel du centre de retrait (A). L'invention est caractérisée en ce que l'envoi postal (P) à expédier est pourvu d'un identifiant destiné à identifier l'envoi postal (P).
