Abstract

교차하는 종격벽과 횡격벽에 의해 형성된 복수의 공간들에 원유를 저장하는 화물창은, 종격벽과 횡격벽이 교차함으로써 형성된 코너들 중 하나 이상의 코너에 위치하며 일측단과 타측단은 종격벽과 횡격벽에 각각 밀폐 고정됨으로써 안쪽에 빈 공간을 형성하는 보이드 스페이스를 포함한다. 선박 화물창은 원유를 저장하는 선박 화물창을 정비 및 수리할 경우 발생할 수 있는 화재 및 폭발 등의 위험을 미연에 방지하며, 또한 화물창의 정비 및 수리에 따른 필수적인 작업 등을 감소시킨다.
