Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an integrated process for converting a hydrocarbon charge of fossil origin and / or biomass for the production of synthetic hydrocarbons by the Fischer-Tropsch reaction, in particular GPL fractions (Petroleum Gas Liquefied), gasoline, kerosene and high quality diesel or lubricating bases.
  • GPL fractions Petroleum Gas Liquefied
  • Fischer-Tropsch synthesis methods make it possible to obtain a broad range of hydrocarbon cuts from the CO + H2 mixture, commonly called synthesis gas.
  • the global equation of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis can be written in the following way:
  • Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is at the heart of processes for converting natural gas, coal or biomass into fuels or intermediates for the chemical industry. These processes are called GTL ("Gas to Liquids" in the English terminology) in the case of the use of natural gas as the initial charge, CTL ("Coal to Liquids” in the English terminology) for coal, and BTL (Biomass to Liquids) for biomass.
  • GTL Gas to Liquids
  • CTL Coal to Liquids
  • BTL Biomass to Liquids
  • the initial charge is first gasified to a synthesis gas which comprises a mixture of carbon monoxide and dihydrogen.
  • the synthesis gas leaving a gasification unit generally has a H 2 / CO ratio between 0.2 and 0.9, this ratio is too low for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis which requires a H 2 / CO ratio of order of 2, especially when the catalyst used is based on cobalt.
  • a step of steam reforming of carbon monoxide (also called "water gas shift" reaction) is thus generally carried out according to the English terminology in order to adjust this ratio according to the reaction: H 2 O + CO ⁇ H 2 + CO 2
  • the synthesis gas having a ratio H 2 / CO close to 2 is then converted mainly into paraffins thanks to the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, and these paraffins can then be converted into fuels by a hydroisomerization-hydrocracking process.
  • hydroisomerization-hydrocracking process transformation processes such as hydrocracking, dewaxing, and hydroisomerization of heavy cuts (C16 +) make it possible to produce different types of fuels in the range of middle distillates: diesel (180-370 ° C) and kerosene (cut 140-300 ° C), but also lighter fractions C5-C15 which can be distilled and used as solvents.
  • the naphtha fraction (cut 30-140 ° C) from these light fractions can be catalytically reformed to increase the octane number for use in the gasoline pool and / or it can still be subjected to aromatization to produce flavored aromatic compounds as sources for petrochemicals.
  • the hydrogen produced during the reforming and / or aromatization steps is often recycled in the process, either in the hydrogen-consuming stages (hydrotreatment, hydroisomerization, hydrocracking), or in the reforming / aromatization stage, or in the gasification step.
  • the document US2010 / 0160700 describes a process for the production of aromatic compounds from an olefin-rich oxygenated cut produced by the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis previously hydrotreated so as to eliminate the olefins.
  • the hydrogen produced by the aromatics production step is recycled upstream of this aromatic compound production step to improve catalyst life and conserve heat.
  • US2003 / 0141 220 discloses a process for the simultaneous processing of a naphtha cut from Fischer-Tropsch synthesis and a naphtha cut from petroleum on a reforming unit.
  • the hydrogen produced may be recycled to the hydrotreatment unit of the naphtha fraction, that of hydrotreating of the distillate section or the hydrocracking unit of the distillate section.
  • the naphtha treated in the reforming unit must first be hydrotreated to remove the oxygenates.
  • US2003 / 01 1199 discloses a synthetic fuel production process in which the CO 2 produced during Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is recycled to the synthesis gas production unit and mixed with the hydrogen produced. by reforming the naphtha fraction in order to increase the amount of CO formed by an inverse reaction to the carbon monoxide reforming reaction (also called "reverse water gas shift" according to the English terminology).
  • the Applicant proposes a method which has an optimal integration of the different steps making it possible to achieve improved production yields and better energy and economic performance (energy efficiency, cost of production, etc.) while improving the octane number of the naphtha fraction resulting from the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis by a reforming step and / or by producing aromatic compounds valued as sources for petrochemistry by an aromatization step.
  • the method of the invention integrates in particular in the process chain a reforming and / or aromatization step for producing hydrogen which is recycled at any stage of the chain located downstream of step b) of steam reforming of the CO and upstream of the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis step f).
  • this hydrogen makes it possible to reduce the amount of carbon monoxide to be converted in step b) of steam reforming and thus to limit the loss of carbonaceous material by the formation of C0 2 .

Description

DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE DE L'INVENTION Types de charges
Étape i) de séparation
Description de la figure
