Abstract

La présente invention concerne, selon un mode de réalisation, un dispositif et un procédé de laminage en continu qui offrent de meilleures conditions de refroidissement afin de produire un acier extrêmement robuste et perfectionné, ledit dispositif de laminage en continu comprenant selon un aspect de la présente invention : une machine de coulée continue destinée à couler une plaque; et un lit de refroidissement doté d'un ou plusieurs équipements de refroidissement à l'eau et d'un ou plusieurs laminoirs connectés de manière continue à la machine de coulée continue, une position de départ (S) dans le lit de refroidissement au niveau de laquelle est installé l'équipement de refroidissement à l'eau afin de permettre la fabrication d'acier extrêmement robuste et perfectionné par le biais d'au moins un refroidissement à l'eau étant définie par la formule mathématique 1 ci-dessous. Ici, H est l'épaisseur (mm) d'une plaque, V est la vitesse de coulée (m/sec) de la plaque, h est l'épaisseur du produit (mm) et t est le temps d'arrivée cible (sec) avant l'entrée dans le lit de refroidissement.
