Abstract
Description
現状、このような高調波による受信感度の劣化に関して、2つのパターンに基づく仕様が規定されている。第1のパターンでは、高調波対策として、ユーザ装置にローパスフィルタが挿入される。ローパスフィルタの挿入によって、高調波はカットされ、高周波数バンド側の受信感度の劣化は改善される。一方、その代償として、送受信特性は緩和される必要がある。例えば、上述したキャリアアグリゲーションの周波数バンド4と周波数バンド12との組み合わせについては、高調波をカットするため、低周波数バンド12のためのデュプレクサとスイッチとの間にローパスフィルタが挿入されることが想定されている。LTE規格では、この想定に基づく送受信特性の緩和が図られている。具体的には、図3に示されるように、周波数バンド12の最大送信電力の下限の許容値(Tolerance)と受信感度がそれぞれ緩和される。図示されるように、周波数バンド4と周波数バンド12との組み合わせ(CA_4A-12A)について、最大送信電力の下限の許容値ΔTIB,cは0.8dBに設定され、ローパスフィルタによるロスに相当する0.5dBが、他の許容値0.3dBと比較して追加されている。また、受信感度については、周波数バンド4と周波数バンド12との組み合わせ(CA_4A-12A)について、周波数バンド4の受信感度が-90dBmに設定され、ローパスフィルタなしのケースの-100dBmから10dBmだけ緩和される。これに対応して、通信エリアが縮退することになる。第1のパターンは、このような周波数バンド4と周波数バンド12との組み合わせなど、事業者が実際にサービスを提供する際に高調波による感度劣化が生じるケースに適用される。

Claims (8)
- キャリアアグリゲーション機能を有するユーザ装置であって、
基地局との無線通信を制御する通信制御部と、
キャリアアグリゲーション周波数バンドの各組み合わせについて、当該ユーザ装置によりサポートされる送受信特性に関する要求条件を管理する能力情報管理部と、
バンド間キャリアアグリゲーションが利用可能な周波数バンドの組み合わせについてサポートされているチャネル帯域幅の組み合わせを識別するための識別子を利用して、当該ユーザ装置によりサポートされる送受信特性に関する要求条件を能力情報として前記基地局に報告する能力情報報告部と、
を有するユーザ装置。 - 前記送受信特性は、最大送信電力の下限の許容値と受信感度とから構成される、請求項1記載のユーザ装置。
- 前記最大送信電力の下限の許容値と前記受信感度とに関する1以上の要求条件が、前記キャリアアグリゲーション周波数バンドの各組み合わせについて無線通信システムによって規定され、
前記キャリアアグリゲーション周波数バンドの組み合わせについて規定される異なる要求条件は、当該ユーザ装置が高調波対策済みであるか否かに対応する、請求項2記載のユーザ装置。 - 前記識別子は、LTEにおける情報要素Bandwidth combination setである、請求項1乃至3何れか一項記載のユーザ装置。
- 当該ユーザ装置が高調波対策済みである場合、前記能力情報報告部は、前記Bandwidth combination setを所定の値に設定し、
前記所定の値は、緩和された最大送信電力の下限の許容値と緩和された受信感度との1以上に関連付けされる、請求項4記載のユーザ装置。 - 前記識別子は、LTEにおける情報要素Tx-Rx requirement setである、請求項1乃至3何れか一項記載のユーザ装置。
- 当該ユーザ装置が高調波対策済みである場合、前記能力情報報告部は、前記Tx-Rx requirement setを所定の値に設定し、
前記所定の値は、受信感度緩和量の許容値に関連付けされる、請求項6記載のユーザ装置。 - キャリアアグリゲーション機能を有するユーザ装置における能力情報報告方法であって、
基地局から、キャリアアグリゲーション周波数バンドの組み合わせについて前記ユーザ装置によりサポートされる送受信特性に関する要求条件を報告させるための能力照会メッセージを受信するステップと、
バンド間キャリアアグリゲーションが利用可能な周波数バンドの組み合わせについてサポートされているチャネル帯域幅の組み合わせを識別するための識別子を利用して、当該ユーザ装置によりサポートされる送受信特性に関する要求条件を能力情報として前記基地局に報告するステップと、
を有する能力情報報告方法。
