La présente invention concerne une machine de traitement du linge qui asperge de l'eau de lavage contenue dans une cuve au-dessus du linge dans un tambour sans l'aide d'un moteur, ce qui lui permet de tremper suffisamment le linge. À cet effet, selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention, la machine de traitement du linge comprend : une cuve destinée à recevoir de l'eau de lavage; un tambour destiné à recevoir du linge, le tambour étant disposé rotatif dans la cuve; et un dispositif de levage destiné à soulever et à faire tourner le linge grâce à la force de rotation du tambour, le dispositif de levage étant disposé dans le tambour, un trou de tambour étant formé sur le tambour, le trou de tambour communiquant avec l'espace intérieur du dispositif de levage, et un trou de dispositif de levage étant formé sur le dispositif de levage, le trou de dispositif de levage aspergeant l'eau de lavage, qui est introduite dans l'espace intérieur depuis la cuve par le trou de tambour, sur le linge dans une position de rotation prédéfinie du tambour.
