Definitions
- the present invention relates to a system and method for easily and inexpensively inquiring a ticket or reserving an inquired ticket using an existing ticket.
- a ticket is worth it if it is not used.
- airlines are constantly studying how they can fill their seats while paying customers a high price, and therefore sell tickets at very complex price structures.
- in-flight service does not differ slightly between customers who use the same class of seats on the same flight, but the reality is that they can pay as much as five times or more depending on how they are booked or purchased. . Therefore, even if you are a professional (e.g. travel agent) who is entrusted with the task of inquiring and / or booking a customer's ticket, you have a long period of education and work experience in order to understand the fare structure of the ticket and make an efficient reservation. This is necessary.
- a professional e.g. travel agent
- existing tickets that have already been scheduled may be used to efficiently search and / or reserve tickets. It can be very valuable information to do.
- Some conventional services simply provide a service (eg, www. Kayak.com, or google flights, etc.) that provides the user with the price (eg, the lowest price) of tickets that others have viewed and / or booked. It merely provides the price of the ticket that another person paid to visit a particular destination.
- the above conventional service only shows the lowest priced ticket among the tickets booked on a specific date, so that the user can obtain only information on how much the price is on a specific date. It has virtually no impact on the retrieval or booking of a user's ticket (just enough to automatically enter the date of the ticket when the user searches for the ticket).
- the conventional service cannot search for an existing ticket of another person, which enables the user to travel a plurality of desired destinations, and merely provides price information of a ticket traveling to one destination, that is, a simple round-trip ticket.
- the present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, the technical problem to be achieved by the present invention is a ticket that has already been inquired and / or reserved by others, or tickets (searched or recommended by the search system) That is, the present invention provides a system and a method for allowing a user to easily search and book a desired ticket by referring to (or using) an existing ticket.
- the user can search for existing tickets of others who can travel all of the itineraries, thereby proactively supporting various and complex travel plans of users.
- itineraries the user can search for existing tickets of others who can travel all of the itineraries, thereby proactively supporting various and complex travel plans of users.
- a stopover when a user selects a destination, only a ticket in which the destination is a one-way or round-trip itinerary has been searched.
- the technical idea of the present invention is not only when the destination selected by the user is the destination city or the departure city, but also for a predetermined time or more. It is to provide a system and a method for making a search possible for a ticket which may be included as a stopover (hereinafter referred to as a stopover).
- an aerial search system includes at least one existing ticket including an existing reserved ticket, a searched ticket, or a ticket searched by the aerial search system, which has been reserved or searched by existing users.
- Ticket history DB for storing information about the processing, the user terminal by using a target ticket selected from the user terminal among the at least one existing ticket stored in the ticket history DB processing to follow the target ticket (search)
- the control module uses the itinerary of the target ticket, wherein the stop means a place of stay for a predetermined residence time or more through the ticket, and optionally further uses the airline of the target ticket.
- the target ticket to the user terminal Perform a follow search process that allows the device to search.
- the aerial search system includes information on at least one existing ticket including an existing reserved ticket, a searched ticket, or a ticket searched by the aerial search system, which has been reserved or searched by existing users.
- An interface module for receiving a travel condition including a ticket history DB, a travel condition including a condition for at least one destination from the user terminal, and at least one existing ticket stored in the ticket history DB corresponding to the travel condition
- an extraction module for extracting at least one information on a candidate ticket, wherein the extraction module extracts a ticket including all of the at least one destination as a stop for staying for a predetermined residence time or more as the candidate ticket.
- the stopover via the stop of the candidate ticket-the stopover is a ticket including a stop excluding the outbound destination city and the inbound departure city of the ticket.
- the following flight search method includes at least one of the following flight search systems including an existing reservation ticket, a searched ticket, or a ticket searched by the following flight search system, which is reserved or searched by existing users. Specifying a target ticket from information on an existing ticket of the user, and performing a follow search process by which the following flight search system processes the user terminal to follow and search for a target ticket using a specified target ticket; And performing the follow search process by the follow flight search system using the itinerary of the target ticket, the stop means the place of stay for a predetermined stay time or more through the ticket,
- the above target ticket The target ticket further using the carriers and a step of performing the search process to follow to the user terminal is detected.
- a follow-up flight search method includes a follow-up flight search system including an existing reservation ticket, a searched ticket, or a ticket searched by the follow-air search system, which is reserved or searched by existing users. Storing information on at least one existing ticket, receiving a travel condition including at least one destination condition from the user terminal by the following flight search system, and at least one existing ticket stored in the ticket history DB And extracting at least one piece of information about a candidate ticket corresponding to the travel condition, and extracting at least one piece of information about a candidate ticket corresponding to the travel condition to the at least one flight.

- a follow air search system 100 may be provided to implement a follow air search method according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.
- the follow air search system 100 may be installed and implemented in a predetermined network system (eg, server) 10.
- the software for implementing the function of the following air search system 100 and the hardware of the network system 10 may be organically combined to implement the following air search system 100 according to the spirit of the present invention. .
- the follow air search system 100 may implement the technical idea of the present invention while communicating with the user terminal 20 through a wired or wireless network.
- the terminal 20 may be defined as including all types of terminals for inquiring (searching) and / or booking a ticket through the follow-air search system 100.
- a terminal capable of implementing the technical spirit of the present invention may be sufficient while communicating with the following air navigation system 100 such as a mobile terminal and an IPTV.
- the terminal 20 may be, for example, a terminal used by a person who can inquire a ticket professionally, such as a travel agent, an employee of an airline, as well as a traveler who wants to inquire and / or make a reservation.
- the following flight search system 100 enables the search of tickets that are reserved or completed by others, tickets that can be reserved or searched at a specific time point, or tickets recommended by a predetermined recommendation algorithm, that is, an existing ticket, and a search result. It may be a system that can provide to the user terminal 20. In addition, the follow air search system 100 may be a system that enables a follow search process by referring to a target ticket selected by a user in an existing ticket.
- the inquired ticket may refer to a ticket in which the inquiries have been made until the reservation is possible since the search for the itinerary and the price of the ticket has been completed although the reservation has not been performed.
- a searchable ticket by the Follow Air Search System 100 may mean a ticket that can be booked through at least an existing flight, and the predetermined recommendation algorithm may be based on various criteria (eg, low price). It is well known that there may be a ticket that is recommended as a ticket, and a ticket that is recommended based on the total travel time.
- the follow-up search process means that the user terminal 20 can search for and / or reserve a ticket that includes all or part of the journey of the target ticket based on the target ticket as defined herein. It may refer to a series of processes performed by the follow flight search system 100.
- search for a ticket may mean that information about a ticket that a user can book may be provided to the user. Therefore, if a ticket is searched according to the technical spirit of the present invention, the user can of course book the searched ticket. That is, the following flight search system 100 according to the spirit of the present invention is not to search and / or book the same ticket (that is, the same flight and ticket having the same fare and the same ticket for each section). Can be.
- the user terminal 20 selects a target ticket among existing tickets, the user searches for the same ticket as the journey of the target ticket or searches for a ticket including at least the journey of the target ticket even if the same ticket is not the same.
- the user absorbs the main booking strategy of the target ticket into the ticket to be booked by the user, that is, the target ticket.
- the main booking strategy of the target ticket may be the itinerary, the airline, the fare and / or the regulation of the target ticket.
- the following flight search system 100 may use the itinerary, airline, and / or schedule of the target ticket to the user to search for the target ticket when the target ticket is determined.
- the target ticket that must be specified for the user to retrieve the target ticket can be specified in various ways.
- the follow air search system 100 may provide a plurality of existing tickets to a user, and the follow air search system 100 may specify a target ticket by selecting one of the tickets.
- the plurality of existing tickets may be specified by input information (eg, destination, itinerary, airline, schedule, etc.) input by the user.
- the plurality of existing tickets may be tickets previously searched or booked by others, or tickets recommended by the following air search system 100.
- the following flight search system 100 does not provide the user with information about the existing ticket, but at least one information about the existing ticket may be provided by another person, and any one of the at least one existing ticket provided may be a target ticket.
- the other person may communicate to the user in various ways (eg, email, message, etc.) information about the ticket that he or she reserves or thinks that conditions (eg, price, itinerary, schedule, etc.) are good. .
- the user may then check information about the ticket received (e.g., itinerary, schedule, price, etc.) and, if he or she wishes to search or book a ticket identical or similar to the ticket received, may also designate the ticket received as the target ticket. have.
- the target ticket may be searched using the attributes of the target ticket (eg, itinerary, airline, flight schedule, fare, etc.).
- the attributes of the target ticket eg, itinerary, airline, flight schedule, fare, etc.
- the follow air search system 100 may perform a follow search process to include the target ticket as a stop.
- the follow-up search process may mean that a series of information is provided and a response is received from the user so that the target ticket can be included as a stop as well. Accordingly, the stop included in the target ticket may not be the same as the stop of the target ticket, depending on the user's response (eg, the selection of a flight per segment).
- the following flight search system 100 for each section divided based on the respective itinerary while allowing a user to select a flight, a follow-up reservation process may be performed so that the user may preferentially select a flight within a predetermined spare date based on the schedule. Accordingly, the user may select the same flight as the flight selected by the target ticket in a specific section, or may select another flight existing within the spare days according to the selection.
- the follow flight search system 100 may select a flight by selecting a date other than the spare date.
- the following flight search system 100 may preferentially select a flight within the spare date, so that a flight ticket similar to the target ticket may be configured.
- the follow air search system 100 performs a follow-up reservation process of selectively searching for a ticket using a fare provided by the airline of the target ticket and providing the user with the fare. can do. That is, a ticket using a fare of the same airline as the airline providing the fare of the target ticket may be more likely to be searched for a ticket having substantially the same or a similar price as the target ticket, and the same or similar journey as that of the target ticket. It is also highly possible to have a ticket with you. Therefore, when the search range is provided to the target ticket selected by the user by limiting the search range to the ticket using the fare of the airline, it is more likely that a ticket matching the user's intention is searched.
- the following flight search system 100 like a conventional service, provides only information on the lowest price among the tickets that can travel a specific destination on a specific date, and the user actually When performing a search based on the information, at least one of the destination, the airline, and / or the schedule of the target ticket may be used for the search for the target ticket, unlike the ticket search is performed regardless of the cheapest ticket.
- the follow-up reservation process may be performed using all of the itinerary, the airline, and the schedule, the itinerary and the schedule, or only the airline and the schedule.
- the target ticket reflects the main booking strategy of the target ticket as its own strategy, but the detailed strategy is not necessarily dependent on the target ticket, and may provide a user with freedom to choose.
- This detailed strategy may be a selection of flights by segment. Therefore, the fact that the user can select flights by segment means that the schedule (departure date, arrival date, departure time, and / or arrival time of each segment, even if the target ticket has exactly the same itinerary as the target ticket) ) May mean that the user can make a selection.
- the target ticket may include more stops than itinerary of the target ticket, in which case the schedule for the corresponding stop may be selected by the user. Or, depending on the choice of each flight to be included in the target ticket, the itinerary's itinerary may not be included in the itinerary.
- the technical idea of the present invention enables a user to search for a target ticket including all the desired destinations as itineraries, and to enable a user to search for and / or book a target ticket including the travel destination of the searched target ticket. You can provide a process.
- the target ticket including the journey of the target ticket may mean a case in which the target ticket includes the itinerary as the itinerary.
- itinerary may mean a stopover for more than a predetermined residence time (eg, 12 hours, one day, or two days). Therefore, the itinerary may include the destination city of the outbound and one or more waypoints, and may mean a stopover of the inbound departure city and stopover time.
- the stopover of the ticket is a case of staying at the stopover for more than one day, and therefore, for convenience of description, the stopover will be described as a stopover in the following description.
- the dwell time may be predetermined by the follow-in air search system 100 or may be set by a user. If the dwell time is set by the user, the user can easily search for a destination ticket that satisfies the destination and the desired dwell time.
- itinerary stops except for the outbound destination city and the inbound departure city of the itinerary will be specifically defined as a transit stop.
- a ticket in which the destination desired by the user is a one-way or round trip is conventionally found.
- follow flight search system 100 may perform a search up to a ticket that the destination desired by the user as a stopover. This is because if the user wants to visit a specific destination, the purpose can be achieved if the user can stay for a certain time or more, but may not necessarily be the destination of the ticket.
- the user sets the destination even when a ticket including the set destination is searched for, the number of tickets available to the user may be much higher, and various travel strategies (for example, the user may use one ticket). It may be possible to easily identify the cities that can be visited in addition to the desired destinations and plan to visit more, or to determine the time for the user to stay at the desired destinations.
- the user may use the itinerary, airline, and / or schedule of the destination ticket.
- the process of searching for the target ticket may be performed. This can be done through the selection of the target ticket, which is one of the most important strategies for travel, the choice of itinerary and the approximate cost involved. In other words, the user has an effect of roughly determining the main elements of the desired trip by selecting a low-cost target ticket among the target tickets including the desired destination.
- the detailed section-by-segment schedule may be determined to establish a detailed plan of the trip (ie, search and / or book a target ticket).
- the follow air search system 100 may perform a follow search process.
- the follow-up search process may refer to a process of searching for a target ticket using the itinerary, airline, and / or schedule of the target ticket as described above, and allows the user terminal 20 to select a flight for each segment of the target ticket. Process may be included.
- each section included in the target ticket may be divided based on the itinerary. That is, the journey may be an outbound origin, an outbound destination, an inbound origin, an inbound destination, and a stopover (i.e., a transit stop) that stays in the inbound and outbound for a predetermined dwell time (eg, one day), respectively. Between stops may mean a section in the present specification. Of course, if there is no stopover for more than a residence time (eg, one day) in inbound and outbound, or in the case of a simple round trip, the inbound and outbound itself may be the section.
- a residence time eg, one day
- the following flight search system 100 determines that at least one section of the user terminal 20 is selected based on a flight selected by the target ticket, that is, a target selection flight. You can choose a flight.
- a flight based on a destination selection flight not only providing information or a UI for the user terminal 20 to easily select the same flight as the destination selection flight, but also destination selection This may mean selecting a flight that can travel the corresponding section within a predetermined time (eg, 3 days or 5 days) before and after the flight.
- a predetermined time eg, 3 days or 5 days
- the user can select not only the target selection flight but also the flight within the predetermined allowance for a predetermined segment, so that the user's main strategy of the journey (e.g., itinerary) is based on the target ticket but the detailed strategy (e.g. The schedule (date, time, or whether to include additional itineraries) can give you some freedom to choose.
- the user terminal 20 is provided with information on the fare for selecting the same flight as the target selected flight, the fare for selecting another flight, and / or the fare when another person selects the target selected flight.
- the fare of the target ticket and the fare difference between the target ticket of the user can be easily identified.
- the follow flight search system 100 may show the flights within the spare days and the base fare (ticket price) at the time of selecting each of the flights based on the selected flights for each section at a time. This can provide a significantly higher user convenience compared to the conventional fare for selecting the flight only after the user selects the flight.
- the technical idea of the present invention is to enable a user to easily search for and / or book a ticket having the same itinerary as the destination of the target ticket, but the target ticket as the final result actually retrieved or booked is the target ticket. This does not mean that it must be equal to the stop of
- a flight selectable by the user terminal 20 while performing the follow search process may be a flight using a fare of an airline of a target ticket, that is, a fair.
- the follow air search system 100 may implement the technical idea of the present invention while communicating with a predetermined external system (not shown) through a wired or wireless network.
- the external system may mean at least one system that stores information for searching for and / or booking a ticket.
- the external system 300 provides or receives information for viewing and / or booking a current ticket, an Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO), the Official Airline Guides (OAG), and a Global Distribution System (GDS).
- ATPCO Airline Tariff Publishing Company
- OAG Official Airline Guides
- GDS Global Distribution System
- an airline system operated by an airline or may include a system for brokering information necessary to implement the technical spirit of the present invention between at least one of the following and the following air navigation system 100.
