  • the hinge pin 31 of the actuator 30 could be positioned between the pin 26 and the hinge bracket 12, and the hinge pin 33 of the piston rod 34 could be positioned between the pin 9 and the pin 28. What is important is that the actuators 30 are interposed between the two main arms 6 and 8.
  • the actuators 30 of the raising devices 4 associated with the same runway 2 are suitably controlled such as to ensure their simultaneous and equal actuation, in order to guarantee that the runway undergoes only translatory motion during its rising and descent.
  • the cylinders 32 of the actuators 30 are fed by a hydraulic circuit, not shown, by means of a flow divider controlled such as to ensure simultaneous and equal movement of the piston rods 34 within the respective cylinders 32. These could moreover be controlled just as effectively by an electronic balancing system.
  • all the main arms 6 and 8, and all the auxiliary arms 20 and 24 can consist of two identical plates facing each other, connected together spaced apart by transverse plates. In this manner, each arm defines between two facing plates a suitable space in which the actuator 30 is positioned.
  • the vehicle lift according to the invention operates in the following manner: with the lift in the lowered condition (see Figures 3 and 5), the actuators 30 are in their minimum elongation condition. In this condition, the vehicle (not shown in the drawings) can be made to rise onto the runways 2. To raise the lift, the actuators 30 are activated, and as they gradually extend (see Figures 1 and 2), the following takes place by virtue of the particular choice of the hinge points:
  • each upper main arm 8 causes the respective upper auxiliary arm 24 to rotate and withdraw from the lower auxiliary arm 20, which also rotates by the effect of the raising of the lower main arm 6, to which it is hinged about the first hinge pin 26.
  • the vehicle lift according to the invention differs from traditional lifts by being of the type in which each runway is provided with two raising devices which are spaced balanced along the direction of longitudinal extension of the runway and, principally, for the fact that each upper auxiliary arm is hinged at its upper end to the upper main arm, i.e. without extending as far as being hinged to the runway itself.
  • the vehicle lift according to the invention is more advantageous than traditional lifts, in that: - because of the absence of mechanical impediments at floor level between the raising devices, the operators are ensured free access both longitudinally and transversely below the raised lift,
  • each raising device 4 is doubly supported on the floor, high stability of the lift is ensured under any raised condition

Abstract

L'invention concerne un élévateur pour véhicules à moteur, comprenant deux pistes parallèles (2) destinées à supporter les roues d'un véhicule, chaque piste (2) comprenant deux dispositifs (4) pour l'élever depuis le sol (3), lesdits deux dispositifs (4) de chaque piste (2) étant espacés d'une manière équilibrée le long de la direction d'extension longitudinale de la piste elle-même, chaque dispositif d'élévation (4) comprenant deux bras principaux (6, 8) de longueur égale, un inférieur (6) et un supérieur (8), articulés ensemble au niveau d'une extrémité autour d'une broche (9) et articulés au niveau de l'autre extrémité, respectivement, avec le sol (3) et avec une piste (2) autour de deux axes transversaux superposés à la verticale, deux bras auxiliaires (20, 24), un inférieur (20) et un supérieur (24), articulés ensemble au niveau d'une extrémité autour d'une broche (23), le bras auxiliaire inférieur (20) comprenant, au niveau de son extrémité inférieure, un moyen (22) pour le faire coulisser le long du sol (3) et étant articulé avec le bras principal inférieur (6) autour d'une première broche d'articulation (26), le bras auxiliaire supérieur (24) étant articulé, au niveau de son extrémité supérieure, avec le bras principal supérieur (8) autour d'une seconde broche d'articulation (28), un actionneur (30) articulé au niveau de son extrémité inférieure avec le bras principal inférieur (6) et au niveau de son extrémité supérieure avec le bras principal supérieur (8).
