Claims (16)
- 집전체의 적어도 일면에 형성된 활물질층을 포함하는 전극에 있어서,메쉬(mesh)를 이용하는 스크린 인쇄 방식으로 형성된 다공성 구조의 바인더 코팅층을 추가로 포함하는 전극.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 바인더 코팅층이 폴리비닐리덴 플루오라이드(PVdF)계 고분자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전극.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 PVdF계 고분자가 폴리비닐리덴 플루로라이드-코-헥사플루오로프로필렌, 폴리비닐리덴 플루오라이드-코-트라이클로로에틸렌, 폴리비닐리덴 플루로라이드-코-테트라플루오로에틸렌, 폴리비닐리덴 플루로라이드-코-트리플루오로에틸렌, 폴리비닐리덴 플루로라이드-코-트리플루오로클로로에틸렌, 폴리비닐리덴 플루로라이드-코-에틸렌, 및 이들 중 2이상의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것을 특징으로 하는 전극.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 바인더 코팅층의 두께가 0.5 내지 5 ㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 전극.
- (S10) 집전체의 적어도 일면에 형성된 활물질층을 포함하는 전극을 준비하는 단계;(S20) 바인더를 분산매에 첨가하여 바인더 에멀션을 수득하는 단계; 및(S30) 상기 전극의 활물질층 표면에 단계 (S20)에서 수득한 상기 바인더 에멀션을 메쉬(mesh)를 이용하는 스크린 인쇄 방식으로 코팅하여 다공성 구조의 바인더 코팅층을 형성하는 단계;를 포함하는, 다공성 바인더 코팅층을 구비하는 전극의 제조 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 단계 (S30)에서, 상기 메쉬가 롤(roll) 형태로 적용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 단계 (S30)가(S31) 상기 전극을 활물질층이 상기 메쉬 롤과 대면하도록 배치하는 단계,(S32) 상기 메쉬 롤을 회전시키면서 상기 전극을 메쉬 롤의 회전 방향 또는 그의 역방향으로 와인딩하는 단계, 및(S33) 상기 메쉬 롤의 회전 및 상기 전극의 와인딩 동안에 상기 바인더 에멀션을 투입하여 상기 전극의 활물질층 표면에 바인더 에멀션을 메쉬 패턴으로 코팅하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 코팅된 메쉬 패턴이 상기 메쉬 롤의 회전 및 상기 전극의 와인딩 동안에 건조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 건조가 25 내지 300℃ 에서 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 건조 단계가 기류(air flow)를 이용하여 수행되며, 상기 기류를 형성하는 수증기량이 1 내지 589 g/m3인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 바인더 코팅층이 0.5 내지 5㎛의 두께로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,단계 (S20)에서, 상기 바인더와 상기 분산매는 1:99 내지 99:1의 중량비로 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 바인더가 폴리비닐리덴 플루오라이드(PVdF)계 고분자인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 PVdF계 고분자가 폴리비닐리덴 플루로라이드-코-헥사플루오로프로필렌, 폴리비닐리덴 플루오라이드-코-트라이클로로에틸렌, 폴리비닐리덴 플루로라이드-코-테트라플루오로에틸렌, 폴리비닐리덴 플루로라이드-코-트리플루오로에틸렌, 폴리비닐리덴 플루로라이드-코-트리플루오로클로로에틸렌, 폴리비닐리덴 플루로라이드-코-에틸렌, 및 이들 중 2 이상의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 분산매가 아세톤, 테트라하이드로퓨란, 메틸렌클로라이드, 클로로포름, 다이메틸포름아미드, N-메틸-2-피롤리돈(NMP), 사이클로헥산, 물 또는 이들의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 양극, 음극, 상기 양극과 상기 음극 상에 개재되는 분리막, 및 비수 전해액을 포함하는 리튬 이차전지에 있어서,상기 양극 및 음극 중 적어도 하나는 제1항에 따른 전극인 리튬 이차전지.
