Abstract
Description
図1は、本発明の第1実施例に係るヘッドアップディスプレイ(以下、「HUD」と呼ぶ。)1の外観を示す斜視図である。なお、HUD1が自動車のダッシュボードに設置される場合、図1における「前方」は自動車のフロントガラス側となり、「後方」は座席側となる。よって、使用者(運転者)はHUD1に対して後方側に位置し、図1における後方側は利用者から見て「手前側」となり、図1における前方側は利用者から見て「奥側」となる。
上記の第1実施例では、一対の付勢ばね13によりメインカバー3a及びサブカバー3bを付勢しているが、第2実施例では、この付勢ばね13を省略する。

Claims (11)
- 情報を表示する表示部材と、
前記表示部材を収納する筺体と、
前記筺体の一面に形成された開口と、
前記開口の開放されている面積を可変するように移動可能で、それぞれが該開口よりも面積が小さい複数のカバーと、
前記カバーを移動させる駆動装置と、
を備え、
前記複数のカバーのうち一のカバーは前記駆動装置によって移動し、
前記複数のカバーのうち他のカバーは前記一のカバーによって移動することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記開口が前記複数のカバーによって閉口された状態で、前記一のカバーが前記他のカバーよりも使用者から見て手前側に位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示部材が起立した状態で、前記他のカバーが前記一のカバーの上方に位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示部材が起立した状態で、前記他のカバー及び前記一のカバーは、使用者から見て前記表示部材よりも奥側に位置することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の表示装置。
- 前記一のカバーの両側面側に位置する前記筺体には第1のガイド溝が形成され、
前記他のカバーの両側面側に位置する前記筺体には第2のガイド溝が形成され、
前記第1のガイド溝は前記第2のガイド溝よりも使用者に対して手前側まで延在していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記一のカバーの両端及び前記他のカバーの一端には凸部が設けられており、
前記他のカバーの凸部が前記一のカバーの凸部に係合することにより、前記他のカバーが前記一のカバーの移動に伴って移動することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記駆動装置は回転による駆動力を有するモータと、
前記駆動力を前記カバーに伝える伝達手段と、を備え、
前記伝達手段は、
前記モータの回転を伝える複数のギアと、
前記ギアの回転とともに回転し前記一のカバーを移動させる送りねじと、
を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記送りねじは前記複数のカバーの一方の側面側に配置され、
前記一のカバーの前記一方の側面側の側面にはラックが形成された送りねじ受けが形成されていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の表示装置。 - 前記ラックを前記送りネジの方向に付勢する第1の付勢手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の表示装置。
- 前記他のカバーを下側方向に付勢する第2の付勢手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記他のカバーは1枚であることを特徴とする請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
