Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Handhabungsvorrichtung (1) und ein Verfahren zur Aufnahme flächiger Gegenstände. Die Handhabungsvorrichtung (1) umfasst mehrere Auslegerarme (3) mit jeweils mindestens einem Saugkopf (6) zum Erfassen des flächigen Gegenstandes. Weiter einen zentralen Flanschabschnitt (4), von welchem ausgehend sich die mehreren Auslegerarme (3) in unterschiedliche Richtungen weg erstrecken und welcher eine tragende Funktion für die mehreren Auslegerarme (3) bereitstellt. Der zentrale Flanschabschnitt (4) besitzt ein Leitungssystem, welches zur Übertragung eines Unterdrucks auf die Saugköpfe (6) der mehreren Auslegerarme (3) fluidisch mit den Saugköpfen (6) in Verbindung steht.
