Definitions
- the present invention relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle (multicopter) including a plurality of rotor blades.
- the multicopter is a type of helicopter in which a plurality of rotor blades are arranged radially, and is a device that flies while maintaining a balance by controlling the rotation speed of each rotor blade. Unlike a helicopter having a main rotor and a tail rotor, the multicopter does not require a complicated mechanism in the rotor blade itself, so that the aircraft can be constructed with excellent maintainability and at a lower cost.
- the power source is becoming the main power source.
- power saving is an important factor because it affects flight time and cruising range.
- This phenomenon is a phenomenon in which when the airspeed drops to zero, such as during a rapid descent, a local eddy current is generated at the tip of the rotor blade, resulting in a loss of lift.
- the multicopter Compared to a helicopter equipped with one large rotor (main rotor), the multicopter has a higher blade load and the propeller has a structure that can generate lift at the center, so it is relatively vortex It is difficult for ring states to occur, but once they occur, it is difficult to recover and can cause a crash.
- a mechanism called a tilt rotor is known as a mechanism that combines the function of vertical take-off and landing and the function of high-speed movement during cruising on the same rotor blade. In the tilt rotor, these functions are switched by tilting the rotor blades.
- V-22 (Osprey) developed jointly by Bell Helicopter and Boeing Rotorcraft Systems has already been put into practical use as a tilt rotor. However, it is very difficult to control the tilt rotor machine, and there is a problem that advanced control by a combination of complicated sensors is required.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a multicopter that can prevent a rotor blade from falling into a vortex ring state and that can efficiently and precisely control lift and thrust by the rotor blade.
- a multicopter is a multicopter in which a plurality of rotor blades are radially arranged on a frame, and at least one of the plurality of rotor blades surrounds the rotor blades.

- the duct has a length from the position of the rotating surface of the rotor blade in the duct to the intake side end of the duct and / or the length to the exhaust side end in the circumferential direction of the duct. It is preferable that it differs depending on the position.
- the length of the duct from the position of the rotating surface of the rotor blade in the duct to the exhaust side end thereof differs depending on the circumferential position of the duct, and the length to the exhaust side end is It is preferable that the longest part and the shortest part are arranged at positions opposite to each other in the circumferential direction of the duct.
- the duct may be configured such that the distance between the inner peripheral surface of the duct and the rotation locus of the blade tip of the rotor blade in the duct varies depending on the position in the circumferential direction of the duct.
- the apparatus further includes a control device, wherein the duct is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape, the duct is rotatable in a circumferential direction about a line connecting the centers in the radial direction, and the control device includes the duct. It is preferable that the rotation in the circumferential direction can be controlled.
- the duct has a double cylinder structure in which a substantially cylindrical inner cylinder part and an outer cylinder part are arranged concentrically, and either the inner cylinder part or the outer cylinder part has a radial center. It is good also as a structure which can be rotated in the circumferential direction centering
- the duct has a double cylindrical structure in which a substantially cylindrical inner cylinder part and an outer cylinder part are arranged concentrically, and the inner cylinder part and the outer cylinder part are lines connecting their radial centers. It is good also as a structure which can be rotated in the circumferential direction independently from each other about the rotation center, and the control device can control the rotation of the inner cylinder part and the outer cylinder part in the circumferential direction.
- the rotor provided with the duct is an inclinable rotor that can be inclined with respect to the frame relative to the frame, and the duct is inclined with the inclinable rotor. Good.
- the duct is formed with a wing-like portion extending in the exhaust direction of the tiltable rotor blade only in a part in the circumferential direction, and the wing-like portion has an inlet port of the duct in the nose side direction. Is formed at a position that becomes the upper surface of the duct when it is tilted to the airfoil, and the wing-like part is inclined when the air inlet of the duct is tilted in the nose side direction and flies in the nose side direction. - the control device 30 in the present embodiment is disposed inside the frame F1.
- the control device 30 includes a control receiving unit C1 that receives a maneuvering instruction from the pilot of the multicopter 10, and the own aircraft including the latitude and longitude of the aircraft, the altitude, and the azimuth angle of the nose in addition to the tilt and rotation of the aircraft.

- the data processing unit C0 increases the rotational speed of the rotary blades P1 to P4 via the rotary blade control unit C3.
- the data processing unit C0 (and the rotary blade control unit C3) adjusts the rotational speed of the rotary blades P1 to P4 based on the information acquired by the posture motion detection unit C2, and the aircraft is vertical without tilting the aircraft. Control to rise.
- a known flight control algorithm used in this type of multicopter can be used.
- the air flow from the intake side to the exhaust side of the rotor blades P1 to P4 is the same in the entire circumference.
- the air flow becomes unbalanced as a whole.
- the “unbalanced air flow” in the present invention means that the air flow of the rotor blades is not the same around the entire circumference but includes portions where the air flows are different.
- FIG. 15 (a) is a side view of the duct D1 in FIG. 1
- FIG. 15 (b) is a side view of FIG. 15 (a) viewed from the direction of arrow B.
- the duct length of the duct D1 is from the position 11 of the rotating surface of the rotor blade P1 of the duct D1 to the exhaust side end, and the duct length 13 to the exhaust side end 12A.
- the left side in the figure is formed to be longer than the duct length 14 (the right side in the figure) to the exhaust side end 12B on the opposite side in the circumferential direction.
- the duct length from the position 11 of the rotating surface of the rotor blade P1 in the duct D1 to the exhaust side end thereof gradually decreases from the exhaust side end 12A to the exhaust side end 12B. Is formed.
- the duct length 16 from the position 11 of the rotating surface of the rotor blade P1 in the duct D1 to the position 15 of the intake side end of the duct D1 is the same over the entire circumference. It is formed to be a length.
- the duct D1 shown in FIG. 1 has a different duct length to the exhaust side end depending on the position in the circumferential direction. That is, the duct D1 has different airflow rectifying effects generated by the rotor blades P1 depending on the position in the circumferential direction. For this reason, the conditions for generating the vortex ring state are not constant all around the rotor blade P1 and the duct D1, thereby preventing the rotor blade P1 from falling into the vortex ring state or reducing the influence thereof. It is possible.
- the rotor blades P1 to P4 are respectively provided with ducts D1 to D4, the airflow generated in the plane perpendicular to the thrust direction of the rotor blades P1 to P4 is rectified to the ducts D1 to D4. It is possible to generate lift efficiently. More specifically, it is possible to obtain a thrust of 1.5 times or more in actual measurement values as compared with the case where the ducts D1 to D4 are not provided.
- ducts rectify the air flow generated by the rotor blades in the desired direction, thereby reducing the vortex generated at the tip of the rotor blades and obtaining lift and thrust with high efficiency. There is a merit that generation can be suppressed.
- the drag resistance of the duct increases in proportion to the moving speed, and it is generated efficiently.
- the structure can be a disadvantage.
- FIG. 16 is a plan view showing Modification 1 of the duct used in the multicopter 10.
- the duct De shown in FIG. 16 is formed such that the distance from the blade tip locus 19 which is the rotation locus of the blade tip portion of the rotor blade Pe to the inner peripheral surface of the duct De differs depending on the position in the circumferential direction. .
- the distance 18 from the inner peripheral surface 17a of the uppermost duct De in the drawing of FIG. 16 to the nearest blade tip locus 19a is the inner peripheral surface of the lowermost duct De in the drawing which is the opposite side in the circumferential direction. It is formed smaller than the distance 20 from 17b to the nearest blade tip locus 19b.
- the distance from the position of the rotating surface of the rotor blade Pe to the intake-side end of the duct De and the distance to the exhaust-side end are set to the same duct length on the entire circumference.
- the duct De is generated by the rotor blade Pe.
- the rectifying effect on the airflow to be generated varies depending on the position in the circumferential direction. Therefore, the air flow from the intake side to the exhaust side of the rotor blade Pe does not become the same flow in the entire circumference, and the air flow becomes unbalanced as a whole. Further, the condition for generating the vortex ring state is not constant over the entire circumference of the rotor blade Pe and the duct De, thereby preventing the rotor blade Pe from falling into the vortex ring state or reducing the influence thereof. It is possible.
- the multicopter 10 of the present embodiment includes four rotor blades (the rotor blades P1 to P4), the number of rotor blades of the multicopter of the present invention is not limited to four, and can be any number. can do.
- the rotor blades can be changed to various arrangements on condition that they are arranged radially.
- the ducts D1 to D4 are formed in a substantially cylindrical shape.
- the shape of the duct of the present invention is not limited to a cylindrical shape, and may be a non-cylindrical shape such as a rectangular tube shape. it can.
- the difference in the duct length in the circumferential direction of the duct and the difference in the distance from the blade tip locus of the rotor blade to the inner peripheral surface of the duct can be arbitrarily determined depending on the desired effect or design constraints. Can be set to size.
- all the ducts are formed so that the duct lengths differ depending on the positions in the circumferential direction.
- the ducts of at least one rotor blade are used. May be formed in such a shape.
- Other rotor blades may have, for example, a duct having the same duct length in the entire circumference, and a constant distance between the blade tip locus of the rotor blade and the inner circumferential surface of the duct, or a duct. It does not have to be.
- FIG. 3 is an external perspective view showing a modified example 2 of the duct used in the multicopter 10.
- the duct Dr in FIG. 3 is a substantially cylindrical duct, and the length from the position of the rotating surface of the rotor blade Pa to the end on the exhaust side varies depending on the position in the circumferential direction.
- the duct Dr in FIG. 3 includes a duct half Df from the position of the rotating surface of the rotor blade Pa to the intake side end, and a duct half Dm from the position of the rotor blade Pa to the exhaust side end. It consists of two parts.
- the duct half Dm is configured as a rotating duct that can be rotated in the circumferential direction around a line connecting the centers in the radial direction.
- the multicopter 10 includes a mechanism that rotates the duct half Dm and a duct rotation control unit C4 that controls the rotation.
- the duct half Df is fixed to the frame F1 as a non-rotatable duct.
- the duct half Df is formed in a cylindrical shape whose duct length is constant over the entire circumference.
- a servo motor (not shown) operated by the duct rotation control unit C4 is arranged in the machine body, and a pinion of the servo motor is provided on the inner peripheral surface or the outer peripheral surface of the duct half Dm.
- Various known mechanisms such as a configuration in which a ring-shaped ultrasonic motor (not shown) operated by the part C4 is arranged in the duct Dr and the rotor of the ultrasonic motor and the duct half Dm are connected can be used.
- the duct half Dm shown in FIG. 3 is formed in substantially the same shape as the shape from the position of the rotating surface of the rotor blades P1 to P4 of the ducts D1 to D4 shown in FIG. That is, as shown in FIGS. 15 (a) and 15 (b), the longest part and the shortest part to the exhaust side end of the duct are arranged at positions shifted by 180 degrees in the circumferential direction.
- the duct half Dm shown in FIG. 3 can be rotated in the circumferential direction by the duct rotation control unit C4 of the control device 30, and can be stopped at an arbitrary position.
- the shape of the duct half body Dm is not particularly limited to the shape of this modification.
- the shape of the duct half Dm may be a shape in which the flow of air from the intake side to the exhaust side of the rotor blades Pa does not become the same flow in the entire circumference, and the flow of air is unbalanced as a whole.
- the air flow of the rotor blades Pa is unbalanced in the circumferential direction.
- the propulsive force of the rotor blade Pa is partially acting not only in the front-rear direction but also in the surface direction of the rotating surface of the rotor blade Pa. That is, by controlling the arrangement angle of the duct half body Dm, it is possible to propel the airframe not only in the front-rear direction of the rotary blade Pa but also in the plane direction.
- the airframe is propelled in an arbitrary direction by appropriately adjusting the rotational speeds of a plurality of rotor blades. This is based on the assumption that the airframe is inclined.
- the shape of the duct Dr arranged so that the opening is opened in the vertical direction is not a shape in which the rectified air flows only from the upper side to the lower side of the rotor blades Pa, but slightly in the horizontal direction.
- the shape is such that thrust is generated.
- the duct half Dm is configured to be rotatable in the circumferential direction. Therefore, the duct is rotated in the circumferential direction without tilting the entire machine body of the multicopter 10, so that the airframe is dense in the horizontal direction. Position control is possible.
- the duct half Dm and the duct half Df of the duct Dr can be arranged upside down.
- the relationship between the position control and the attitude control of the multicopter 10 when the configuration of the duct Dr is applied to each of the ducts D1 to D4 is as follows.
- the data processing unit C0 rotates the ducts D1 to D4 by a predetermined angle in the circumferential direction via the duct rotation control unit C4. Since the ducts D1 to D4 have different duct lengths to the exhaust side end depending on their circumferential positions, a part of the airflow generated by the rotor blades P1 to P4 also acts as a thrust in the horizontal direction.
- the data processing unit C0 When the multicopter 10 is raised and lowered, the data processing unit C0 that has received the control signal for raising or lowering from the control receiving unit C1 keeps the posture of the aircraft horizontal based on the information from the posture motion detecting unit C2. Raise or lower the aircraft vertically. At this time, the data processing unit C0 controls the rotational speeds of the plurality of rotor blades P1 to P4 and at the same time appropriately rotates the ducts D1 to D4 formed to be rotatable, so that the horizontal direction can be reduced without tilting the fuselage. The position can also be maintained.
- the data processing unit C0 determines whether the instructed movement amount and movement speed are high-speed movement that tilts the aircraft or precise movement that rotates the ducts D1 to D4. Judging. That is, in response to an instruction that the movement speed is high and the movement amount is expected to be large, the rotational speed of the rotary blades P1 to P4 is controlled by the rotary blade control unit C3, and the aircraft is moved quickly by tilting the airframe. On the other hand, in response to an instruction that the movement speed is slow and the movement amount is expected to be small, the duct rotation control unit C4 is instructed to rotate the ducts D1 to D4, and appropriate rotation positions of the ducts D1 to D4 are determined. Perform precise movement in the horizontal direction. The above two types of movement methods can be performed in combination at the same time.
- FIGS. 4A and 4B are a longitudinal sectional view (a) and a plan view (b) of a duct Da that is a modified example 3 of the duct used in the multicopter 10.
- the duct Da is formed such that the duct length from the position of the rotating surface of the rotor blade Pa to the end on the exhaust side varies depending on the position in the circumferential direction.
- the duct Da is further formed such that the duct length from the position of the rotating surface of the rotor blade Pa to the intake side end also varies depending on the position in the circumferential direction.
- the upper part of the duct Da as viewed in FIG. 4A has a shape obtained by rotating the lower part 180 degrees in the circumferential direction and inverting the top and bottom.
- the length in the vertical direction from the intake side end to the exhaust side end of the duct Da is formed to be the same length at any position in the circumferential direction.
- the duct Da has a shape that can further suppress the possibility of occurrence of a vortex ring state and can generate a thrust in the horizontal direction as compared with the duct of FIGS. 1 and 3.
- the duct Da has a portion with a long duct length on the upper side in FIG. 4 (a) and a portion with a shorter duct length on the lower side in FIG. 4 (a) arranged at the same position in the circumferential direction. In a place shifted by 180 degrees in the circumferential direction, the portion where the duct length on the upper side is short and the duct length on the lower side is long is arranged at the same position.
- the shape of the duct Da may be a shape obtained by inverting the top and bottom of the ducts D1 to D4 in FIG. That is, the duct length from the position of the rotating surface of the rotating blade Pa to the intake side end of the duct Da is formed to be different depending on the position in the circumferential direction, and conversely, the duct Da is determined from the position of the rotating surface of the rotating blade Pa.
- the duct length up to the exhaust side end may be the same over the entire circumference.
- the shape of the duct of the present invention is not limited to the above shapes, and any combination is possible.
- a portion having a long intake side duct length and a long exhaust side duct length are provided.
- the portion may be arranged at the same circumferential position, and a portion having a short duct length on the intake side and a portion having a short duct length on the exhaust side may be arranged at a position shifted by 180 degrees in the circumferential direction therefrom. .
- the difference in the drag force with respect to the traveling direction, particularly when moving horizontally, is greatly changed by the rotation of the duct, that is, the amount of transfer lift (lift by increasing the air flow rate passing through the rotor blades) can be changed. It becomes like this.
- the duct Da of FIG. 4 may be configured to be rotatable in the circumferential direction like the duct Dr of the second modification.
- the duct Da is divided into two ducts, such as a duct half on the intake side with respect to the position of the rotation surface of the rotor blade Pa and a duct half on the exhaust side with respect to the position of the rotation surface. Any one of them may be configured to be rotatable, or both ducts may be configured to be independently rotatable.
- FIG. 5 is an explanatory view of the multicopter 10 in flight as seen from the side.
- Ducts ducts that are rotatable in the circumferential direction are used for the ducts D1 to D4 of the multicopter 10 in FIG.
- the arrow in FIG. 5 indicates the traveling direction of the multicopter 10, and the multicopter 10 in FIG. 5 is propelled toward the left side in the figure.
- all of the ducts D1 to D4 of the multicopter 10 have a portion with a short duct length directed toward the traveling direction side.
- each duct D1 to D4 has the same function as when the aircraft flap is lowered.
- an increase in the transfer lift can be expected, and a flight with lower power consumption is possible.
- the ducts D1 to D4 are rotated so that the intermediate part of the duct length is directed in the traveling direction, the projected area of the ducts D1 to D4 with respect to the traveling direction is minimized, so that the drag provided by the outer surface of the duct is minimized. . It is also possible to fly in such an arrangement of the ducts D1 to D4 depending on the balance between lift and moving speed.
- FIG. 6 is a side view showing a state in which the long duct lengths of the ducts D1 to D4 of the multicopter 10 of FIG. 5 are all directed outward with respect to the center of the frame F1.
- the multicopter 10 does not move in the horizontal direction.
- the posture can be stabilized by minimizing the influence of wind from the horizontal direction.
- the thrust escapes slightly toward the direction where the duct length is short. Therefore, if there is some disturbance, the ducts D1 to D4 are rotated to cause the thrust in the horizontal direction. And the current position of the multicopter 10 can be maintained.
- FIG. 7 is a view showing a fourth modification of the duct of the present invention.
- the duct Db according to the modification 4 is an example in which the duct has a double cylinder structure.
- FIG. 7A is an external perspective view of the duct Db
- FIG. 7B is a plan view of FIG. 7A.
- the rotatable portions of the duct Db are arranged concentrically in a double manner.
- the rotatable part of the duct Db includes two substantially cylindrical ducts, an outer outer cylinder part Dm1 and an inner cylinder part Dm2.
- the outer cylinder part Dm1 and the inner cylinder part Dm2 are configured to be rotatable in the circumferential direction independently of each other about a line connecting the centers in the radial direction.
- the duct Db can appropriately change the ratio of the duct length in the circumferential direction by rotating the outer cylinder part Dm1 and the inner cylinder part Dm2.
- the outer cylinder part Dm1 and the inner cylinder part Dm2 are formed in substantially the same shape, and in the state where these long duct lengths are completely overlapped in the circumferential direction, the outer appearance is the same as that of the rotary duct D of FIG. .
- the inner cylinder part Dm2 when the inner cylinder part Dm2 is rotated in a state where the outer cylinder part Dm1 is fixed here, the overlap of the long duct length part is shifted, and the duct occupies more space.
- the inner cylinder part Dm2 is arranged in a state of being rotated by approximately 90 degrees with respect to the outer cylinder part Dm1.
- the ratio of the portion having a long duct length in the circumferential direction of the duct Db is larger than the state in which the two ducts (the outer cylinder portion Dm1 and the inner cylinder portion Dm2) are completely overlapped.
- FIG. 8 is an external perspective view showing a state where the inner cylindrical portion Dm2 of the duct Db of FIG. 7 is further rotated by 90 degrees in the circumferential direction. That is, the inner cylinder part Dm2 is arranged at a position rotated approximately 180 degrees from the position where it has completely overlapped with respect to the position of the outer cylinder part Dm1.
- the thrust in the horizontal direction has the same effect as a duct having the same duct length in the entire circumference.
- Ducts that are too long can be a drag force when moving in the horizontal direction, but if the length is appropriate, direct disturbance airflow against the rotor blades can be suppressed, contributing to posture stabilization and increased lift. .
- the rotating duct is configured so that both the outer cylinder part Dm1 and the inner cylinder part Dm2 rotate. Alternatively, only one of them may be configured to rotate. In other words, it is only necessary that the unbalanced air flow of the rotor blades can be adjusted to an arbitrary circumferential angle as a whole by rotating the rotatable portion in the circumferential direction.
- the mechanism for rotating the outer cylinder part Dm1 and the inner cylinder part Dm2 of the duct Db the same mechanism as that of the duct Dr of Modification 2 can be used.
- the distance from the rotation trajectory of the blade end of the rotor blade to the inner surface of the duct is constant over the entire circumference. It becomes the distance.
- the duct length from the position of the rotating surface of the rotor blade to the intake side end or the exhaust side end of the duct is set to a different length at the circumferential position, and further, these are rotatable so that the horizontal direction It becomes possible to precisely control the thrust force.
- FIG. 9 is a plan view showing a second embodiment of the multicopter of the present invention.
- the multi-copter 11 of FIG. 9 is a hexacopter that includes two rotor blades P5 and P6 in addition to the same four rotor blades P1 to P4 as in the previous embodiment, and includes a total of six rotor blades.
- the multicopter 11 includes tiltable rotating blades P5 and P6 that can tilt the angle of the rotating surface relative to the frame F2.
- These rotor blades P1 to P6 are provided with ducts D1 to D6 covering the periphery thereof.
- the ducts D5 and D6 of the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 are tilted together with the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6.
- the multicopter 11 is arranged on the frame F2 so that the direction orthogonal to the line connecting the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 in the horizontal plane is the front-rear direction, and the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 can tilt in the front-rear direction. ing.
- the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 are arranged at positions that are line-symmetric with respect to the front-rear direction line passing through the center of the aircraft body of the multicopter 11, thereby increasing the number of tiltable rotor blades that can be disposed. Can do.
- FIG. 10 is an external perspective view of the multicopter 11, and FIG. 11 is a side view showing a state in which the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 of the multicopter 11 are tilted.
- the arrows in FIG. 10 indicate the directions in which the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 of the multicopter 11 can tilt.
- FIG. 11 is a side view of the multicopter 11 viewed from the duct D6 side, and the duct D6 (tiltable rotor blade P6) is tilted so that the intake side faces the front (nose side) of the multicopter 11. It shows the state.
- the multicopter 11 includes ducts D5 and D6 on the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6, respectively, but the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 may be configured not to include the ducts D5 and D6. By not providing the ducts D5 and D6, it is possible to avoid that the drag force of the duct increases in proportion to the speed when the duct opening is moved at high speed in the traveling direction.
- the number of tiltable rotor blades is not limited to two, and may be one or three.
- FIG. 12 is an external perspective view of a duct Dc which is a modification of the duct for the tiltable rotor blade according to the present invention.
- a portion Ds having a short duct length occupies most of the entire circumference, such as a duct Dc, and a wing-like portion Dl that is a portion extending to the exhaust side is provided only in a part. It is preferable to provide a duct having a structured structure.
- FIG. 13 is a side view for explaining the air flow of the rotor blade P including the duct Dc.
- the wing-like portion Dl arranged at the uppermost surface of the duct Dc generates lift similar to that of the fixed wing.
- the increase in the drag force of the duct Dc is suppressed, and the wing-like portion Dl generates lift when moving at a high speed, thereby enabling flight with further reduced power consumption.
- FIG. 14 is a block diagram showing a functional configuration of the control device 31 of the multicopter 11.
- the control device 31 in the present embodiment is disposed inside the frame F2.
- the control device 31 includes a control receiving unit C1 that receives a steering instruction from the pilot of the multicopter 11, and the own aircraft including the latitude and longitude of the aircraft, the altitude, and the azimuth angle of the nose in addition to the tilt and rotation of the aircraft.
- Attitude motion detection unit C2 that acquires position information
- rotary blade control unit C3 that adjusts the rotational speed of rotary blades P1 to P6, duct rotation control unit C4 that controls the rotation of ducts D1 to D4, and tiltable rotary blades
- a rotary blade inclination control unit C5 that controls the inclination angles of P5 and P6, a data processing unit C0 that centrally manages cooperation between these modules, and a battery B0 that is a power supply source are provided.
- the data processing unit C0 and each module are connected to each other by signal lines.
- the battery B0 is connected only to the data processing unit C0, but the power of the battery B0 is also supplied to the other modules C1 to C5.
- the data processing unit C0 When the control receiving unit C1 of the multicopter 11 receives the ascent instruction, the data processing unit C0 increases the rotational speed of the rotary blades P1 to P6 via the rotary blade control unit C3. At this time, the data processing unit C0 (and the rotary blade control unit C3) controls the rotational speed of the rotary blades P1 to P6 based on the information acquired by the attitude motion detection unit C2, and does not tilt the fuselage. Control to rise. For such a method of controlling the aircraft using the information of the posture motion detection unit C2 by the data processing unit C0, a known flight control algorithm used in this type of multicopter can be used.
- the rotor wing inclination control unit C5 maintains the rotation surface of the inclinable rotor blades P5 and P6 at a zero inclination.
- the data processing unit C0 controls the rotor blades P1 to P4 and the ducts D1 to D4 based on information from the attitude motion detection unit C2. Maintain altitude while keeping the posture horizontal.
- the data processing unit C0 tilts the rotor blades P5 and P6 via the rotor blade tilt control unit C5 while turning the nose of the airframe in the traveling direction.
- the lift force that the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 bear gradually changes to the thrust in the horizontal direction and is lost as lift force.
- This lost lift is offset by increasing the rotational speed of the rotor blades P1 to P4, and the multicopter 11 can maintain a predetermined altitude.
- the multicopter 11 may require a sliding take-off using a transfer lift when a heavy object is mounted on the payload or when taking off at a high altitude where air is scarce.
- the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 are not tilted, but the entire body is tilted and the horizontal speed is increased, and then the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 are tilted.
- the data processing unit C0 uses the propulsive force of the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 to compensate for the lift of the aircraft.
- the maximum inclination angle of the tiltable rotor blades P5 and P6 can be limited.
