 本発明の二重容器(1)は、外層体(2)と、内容物を収納する充填空間を有するとともに外層体の内側に設けられる内層体(3)とを備え、外層体(2)と内層体(3)との相互間に、中心軸線(C)に沿って延在し、外層体(2)と内層体(3)とを部分的に結合させる接着帯(4)を1本のみ設け、外層体(2)に、外層体(2)と内層体(3)との相互間に外気を取り込む外気導入孔(2d)を、接着帯(4)に対して周方向にずれた位置に1つのみ設け、外層体(2)の内面を、外気導入孔(2d)に面するとともに内層体(3)の外面に対して分離した分離面(2f)と、分離面(2f)に対向するとともに内層体(3)の外面に対して剥離可能に接着した疑似接着面(2g)とで構成している。

Description

二重容器
 本発明は、内容物を収納する内層体を外層体の内側に設けた二重容器に関するものである。
 化粧水などの化粧料やシャンプーやリンス或いは液体石鹸、各種の薬剤、また食品調味料などを内容物として収納する容器としては、定形の外殻となる外層体と、外層体の内側に設けられ内容物を収納する内層体とを備える二重容器が知られている(例えば特許文献1参照)。この種の容器は、外層体に外気導入孔を備えていて、外層体と内層体との相互間に外気を取り込むことができるように構成している。これにより、内容物を注出させても外層体の形状は元のままで内層体のみを減容変形させることができる。
 このような二重容器は、特許文献1に示されている如く、内層体を全体的に均等に減容変形させることを目的として、外層体と内層体とを部分的に結合させる接着帯を外層体の中心軸線を挟んで対向するように設け、更に、2つの外気導入孔を対向する接着帯に対してそれぞれ周方向に90度ずれた位置に設けることが一般的である。

 ところで対向配置となる接着帯及び2つの外気導入孔を設ける場合、内層体は、外層体の中心軸線に対して対称となるように減容変形する。すなわち外層体には、内層体が外層体から分離した剛性が低い2つの部分と、接着帯によって内層体と外層体とが結合した剛性の高い2つの部分が存在し、同種の部分同士が外層体の中心軸線に対して対称に位置することになる。
 そして、外層体を片手で保持する場合、親指をあてがう部分と、人差し指から小指までをあてがう部分とは、外層体の中心軸線に対して概ね対称に位置することになることから、内容物を注出させるには、外層体の剛性が低い部分同士、或いは剛性が高い部分同士を押圧することになる。すなわち、親指をあてがう部分の剛性と人差し指から小指までをあてがう部分の剛性には差がなく、撓みやすさの優位性がないため、内容物を注出させるには両方の部分をともに撓ませなければならず、やや強い力で押圧する必要があった。
 本発明は、このような従来の問題点を解決することを課題とするものであり、その目的は、できるだけ小さい押圧力で内容物を注出させることができる、新たな二重容器を提案するところにある。
 本発明は、上部を開口させた口部、胴部及び底部を有する外層体と、内容物を収納する充填空間を有するとともに該外層体の内側に設けられ、該充填空間からの内容物の注出に伴って減容変形する内層体とを備えた二重容器であって、
 前記外層体と前記内層体との相互間に、該外層体の中心軸線に沿って延在し、該外層体と該内層体とを部分的に結合させる接着帯を1本のみ設け、
 該外層体に、該外層体と該内層体との相互間に外気を取り込む外気導入孔を、該接着帯に対して周方向にずれた位置に1つのみ設け、
 該外層体の内面を、該外気導入孔に面するとともに該内層体の外面に対して分離した分離面と、該分離面に対向するとともに該内層体の外面に対して剥離可能に接着した疑似接着面とで構成してなる二重容器である。
 内容物の注出にあたって前記外層体を傾倒姿勢に変位させるに際し、前記分離面と前記疑似接着面が水平方向両側に位置するように該外層体を導く誘導手段を有することが好ましい。
 前記口部に、前記充填空間の内容物を外界に注出させる注出キャップを設け、該注出キャップに、ヒンジを介して連結する蓋体を設け、該ヒンジを、前記分離面と前記疑似接着面が水平方向両側に位置し且つ前記外層体を傾倒姿勢に変位させた状態において、該注出キャップの上方に設けることで前記誘導手段とすることが好ましい。
 前記口部に、該口部の開口を覆う天壁と該天壁から立ち上がる注出筒とを有し該注出筒から内容物を外界に注出させる注出キャップを設け、該注出筒を、前記分離面と前記疑似接着面が水平方向両側に位置し且つ前記外層体を傾倒姿勢に変位させた状態において、下方に位置する部分の長さが他の部分よりも長くなるように設けることで前記誘導手段とすることが好ましい。
 前記口部に、前記充填空間の内容物を外界に注出させる注出キャップを設け、前記注出キャップに、先端を径方向外側に湾曲させたリップをその頂部に有する注出筒を設け、該リップを、前記分離面と前記疑似接着面が水平方向両側に位置し且つ前記外層体を傾倒姿勢に変位させた状態において、該頂部の下方に位置する部分のみに設けることで前記誘導手段とすることが好ましい。
 前記外気導入孔は、前記接着帯に対して周方向に90度ずれた位置に設けることが好ましい。
 本発明では、外層体と内層体との相互間に、外層体の中心軸線に沿って延在し、外層体と内層体とを部分的に結合させる接着帯を1本のみ設け、外層体に、外層体と内層体との相互間に外気を取り込む外気導入孔を、接着帯に対して周方向にずれた位置に1つのみ設け、外層体の内面を、外気導入孔に面するとともに内層体の外面に対して分離した分離面と、分離面に対向するとともに内層体の外面に対して剥離可能に接着した疑似接着面とで構成している。すなわち、外層体の剛性は、分離面が位置する側に対して疑似接着面が位置する側では高くなるため、外層体を押圧すると、分離面が位置する側が優先的に撓むことになる。換言すると、外層体を片手で保持する場合、親指をあてがう部分と人差し指から小指までをあてがう部分の何れか一方を優先的に撓ませることができるため、両方を撓ませる場合に比して小さい押圧力で内容物を注出させることができる。

 以下、図面を参照しながら本発明をより具体的に説明する。図中、符号1は、本発明に従う二重容器の一実施形態を示す。図1~図4に示すように二重容器1は、容器の外殻を形成する外層体2と、内容物を収納する充填空間Mを有するとともに外層体2の内側に設けられる内層体3とを備えている。
 外層体2は、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等の合成樹脂で形成されていて、定形性を有するものである。図1、図2に示すように外層体2は、上部を開口させた円筒状の口部2aに、口部2aよりも大径となる円筒状の胴部2bの一端を連結するとともに、胴部2bの他端を底部2cで閉鎖した形態をなしている。本実施形態の外層体2は、外層体2の中心軸線Cを挟んで2つに分割したブロー成形金型で構成されていて、口部2a、胴部2b、底部2cには、図2、図3に示すように金型の分割面に対応するパーティングラインLが形成されている。
 また口部2aには、口部2aを貫通する孔(外気導入孔2d)が1つのみ設けられている。本実施形態では、パーティングラインLに対して周方向に90度ずれた位置に設けられている。なお外気導入孔2dは、後述する接着帯を避けた位置であれば周方向の任意の位置に設けることができる。また、中心軸線C方向にずらして設けることも可能であって、胴部2bや底部2cに設けてもよい。また口部2aの外面には、後述する注出キャップを装着するためのねじ部2eが、外気導入孔2dを避けて設けられている。
 内層体3は、柔軟性を有する薄肉の合成樹脂で形成されている。本実施形態にあっては、外層体2に対して相溶性の低い材料(例えば、エチレンビニルアルコール共重合体、ナイロン(ポリアミド)等)を用いている。
 外層体2と内層体3の相互間には、外層体2の中心軸線Cに沿って延在し、外層体2と内層体3とを結合させる接着帯4が1本のみ設けられている。本実施形態では、図3に示すようにパーティングラインL上に設けられていて、口部2aの端部から胴部2bと底部2cとの連結部まで延在している。なお、接着帯4の延在長さ及び起点となる位置は種々選択可能であり、例えば口部2aの端部から底部2cの中央部まで延在させてもよく、また胴部2bのみに延在させてもよい。
 そして、外層体2の内面は、接着帯4が設けられた部位を除いて、外気導入孔2dに面するとともに内層体3の外面に対して分離した分離面2f(図3では、中心軸線Cを中心として接着帯4の縁から時計回りに180度の領域)と、分離面2fに対向するとともに内層体3の外面に対して剥離可能に接着した疑似接着面2g(図3では、接着帯4の縁から反時計回りに180度の領域)とから構成されている。
 本実施形態の二重容器1は、例えば外層体2を形成する筒状の外層パリソンと、内層体3を形成する筒状の内層パリソンと、外層パリソンと内層パリソンとの相互間に設けられ、接着帯4を形成する縦帯接着層とを、多層押出成形用ダイスから共押出しして積層パリソンを押出成形し、これをダイスの下方に位置させたブロー成形金型で挟み込むとともにブロー成形することによって得ることができる。この場合、外気導入孔2dは、ブロー成形後にパンチ等を用いて形成することができる。また、成形直後の外層体2の内面は、接着帯4が設けられた部位を除き、その全周が内層体3の外面と剥離可能に接着した状態になっているものの、外気導入孔2dから内層体3に対して空気を吹き込むことで内層体3を外層体2から剥離させて、分離面2fを形成することができる。
 このような二重容器1にあっては、図5~図8に例示するような注出キャップ10を口部2aに装着することで、充填空間M内の内容物を注出することができる。図5~図8の注出キャップ10は、中栓11、移動弁体12、逆止弁13、注出キャップ本体14で構成されている。また注出キャップ本体14の側部には、ヒンジ15を介して蓋体16を一体に設けている。
 中栓11は、内容物が通過する貫通孔11a及び両端を開放した筒状壁11bを備えていて、口部2aの開口に設けられる。移動弁体12は球状をなしていて、筒状壁11bの内部において、筒状壁11bの軸線に沿って移動可能に配置されている。逆止弁13は、所謂3点弁の如き形態をなしていて、中栓11の上面に配置される。逆止弁13の弁体13aは、通常は中栓11の上面に着座しており、貫通孔11aを閉鎖している。なお、筒状壁11bに対し、弁体13aは完全には塞いでおらず、弁体13aを支持する弾性片の隙間部分が常時開放されている。注出キャップ本体14は、中栓11とともに口部2aの開口を覆う天壁14aと、天壁14aの縁部に連結して口部2aに保持される装着筒14bとを備えている。また、天壁14aには、円筒状の注出筒14cを設けている。更に注出筒14cの頂部には、先端を径方向外側に湾曲させたリップ14dを設けている。また天壁14aには、外層体2と内層体3との相互間に空気を取り込むための通気口14eが設けられている。
 このような注出キャップ10によれば、外層体2を傾倒姿勢に変位させて押圧すると、充填空間Mが加圧されて、弁体13aが中栓11から離反する。これに伴い充填空間Mの内容物が貫通孔11aを通して注出筒14cから注出される。またこの時、移動弁体12は、注出筒14c側に向けて筒状壁11b内を移動する。その後、外層体2の押圧を解除して元の姿勢に戻せば、充填空間Mの圧力が下がるため、弁体13aが中栓11に着座して貫通孔11aは閉鎖される。またこの時、移動弁体12も元の位置に戻るため、これに伴い注出筒14c内の内容物を、常時開放した弁体13aを支持する弾性片の隙間部分から引き戻すことができ(サックバック)、注出筒14cからの液だれを防ぐことができる。なお、押圧を解除することで外層体2は元の形状に戻ろうとし、これに伴い外層体2と内層体3との相互間が負圧になるため、外気が、通気口14eを通して注出キャップ本体14内に取り込まれ、外気導入孔2dから外層体2と内層体3との相互間に導入される。これにより、内層体3を減容変形させたまま、外層体2だけが復元する。
 このような構成になる二重容器1において、分離面2fが位置する側での外層体2の剛性は、内層体3の厚みがない分、疑似接着面2gが位置する側よりも小さくなる。このため、内容物を注出させるにあたって片手で外層体2を押圧すると、分離面2fが位置する側の外層体2を、疑似接着面2gが位置する側の外層体2に対して優先的に撓ませることができる。つまり、対向する外層体部分を両方とも撓ませていた従来の二重容器に対して、より小さい押圧力で内容物を注出させることができる。
 また、このような二重容器1にあっては、内容物の注出にあたって外層体2を傾倒姿勢に変位させるに際し、外層体2を上方から持つようにすると外層体2を押圧しやすくなる。換言すると、この状態において外層体2を押圧する指の腹は、外層体2の中心軸線を挟んで水平方向両側に位置することになるため、分離面2fと疑似接着面2gが水平方向両側に位置するようにすることが好ましい。よって二重容器1には、特に意識せずともこのような姿勢で外層体2を保持する誘導手段を設けることが好ましい。
 このような誘導手段としては、例えば図5~図8に示すヒンジ15のように、分離面2fと疑似接着面2gが水平方向両側に位置し且つ外層体2を傾倒姿勢に変位させた状態において、注出キャップ10の上方に位置するように設けることが挙げられる。すなわち、蓋体16を開いて内容物を注出するにあたっては、蓋体16が内容物の注出を妨げないようにするべく、図示のようにヒンジ15が注出キャップ10の上方に位置する(開いた蓋体16が注出キャップの上方に位置する)姿勢になるように自然に外層体2を保持するため、所期した通り、分離面2fと疑似接着面2gが水平方向両側に位置するように誘導することができる。
 また他の誘導手段として、図5、図6に示す注出筒14cのように、分離面2fと疑似接着面2gが水平方向両側に位置し且つ外層体2を傾倒姿勢に変位させた状態において、下方に位置する部分の長さが他の部分よりも長くなるように設けてもよい。また図7、図8に示すリップ14dのように、分離面2fと疑似接着面2gが水平方向両側に位置し且つ外層体2を傾倒姿勢に変位させた状態において、注出筒14cの頂部の下方に位置する部分のみにこれを設けてもよい。なお、誘導手段は上述したものに限定されるものではなく、種々の構成が適用可能であって、例えば、分離面2fと疑似接着面2gが位置する側の外層体2の外面に、指掛かりとなる凹部や凸部を設けてもよい。
 なお、疑似接着面2gに対して分離面2fの面積が小さすぎると、内容物を注出させた際に内層体3の減容変形が十分に進まないおそれがある。また、疑似接着面2gに対して分離面2fの面積が大きすぎると、外層体2を優先的に撓ませることができる範囲が小さくなる。これに対し、本実施形態のように接着帯4に対して周方向に90度ずれた位置に設ける場合は、接着帯4を境として外層体2の内面の略半分が分離面2fとなり、残りの半分が疑似接着面2gとなるため、上述した両方の機能を有効に両立させることができる。

Claims (6)

  1.  上部を開口させた口部、胴部及び底部を有する外層体と、内容物を収納する充填空間を有するとともに該外層体の内側に設けられ、該充填空間からの内容物の注出に伴って減容変形する内層体とを備えた二重容器であって、
     前記外層体と前記内層体との相互間に、該外層体の中心軸線に沿って延在し、該外層体と該内層体とを部分的に結合させる接着帯を1本のみ設け、
     該外層体に、該外層体と該内層体との相互間に外気を取り込む外気導入孔を、該接着帯に対して周方向にずれた位置に1つのみ設け、
     該外層体の内面を、該外気導入孔に面するとともに該内層体の外面に対して分離した分離面と、該分離面に対向するとともに該内層体の外面に対して剥離可能に接着した疑似接着面とで構成してなる二重容器。
  2.  内容物の注出にあたって前記外層体を傾倒姿勢に変位させるに際し、前記分離面と前記疑似接着面が水平方向両側に位置するように該外層体を導く誘導手段を有する請求項1に記載の二重容器。
  3.  前記口部に、前記充填空間の内容物を外界に注出させる注出キャップを設け、該注出キャップに、ヒンジを介して連結する蓋体を設け、該ヒンジを、前記分離面と前記疑似接着面が水平方向両側に位置し且つ前記外層体を傾倒姿勢に変位させた状態において、該注出キャップの上方に設けることで前記誘導手段としてなる請求項2に記載の二重容器。
  4.  前記口部に、該口部の開口を覆う天壁と該天壁から立ち上がる注出筒とを有し該注出筒から内容物を外界に注出させる注出キャップを設け、該注出筒を、前記分離面と前記疑似接着面が水平方向両側に位置し且つ前記外層体を傾倒姿勢に変位させた状態において、下方に位置する部分の長さが他の部分よりも長くなるように設けることで前記誘導手段としてなる請求項2に記載の二重容器。
  5.  前記口部に、前記充填空間の内容物を外界に注出させる注出キャップを設け、前記注出キャップに、先端を径方向外側に湾曲させたリップをその頂部に有する注出筒を設け、該リップを、前記分離面と前記疑似接着面が水平方向両側に位置し且つ前記外層体を傾倒姿勢に変位させた状態において、該頂部の下方に位置する部分のみに設けることで前記誘導手段としてなる請求項2に記載の二重容器。
  6.  前記外気導入孔は、前記接着帯に対して周方向に90度ずれた位置に設けられる請求項1に記載の二重容器。
