- Step S301 The first touch electrode 11-1 is provided with a low level through the corresponding touch wire 12-1, so that the display area where the first touch electrode 11-1 is located is in a dark state.
- all the touch electrodes are divided into a first touch electrode 11-1 and a second touch electrode 11-2.
- the first touch electrode 11-1 and the second touch electrode 11-2 are alternately arranged in the first direction and the second direction, wherein the first direction and the second direction are respectively a column direction and a row direction.
- the first touch electrode 11-1 includes odd-numbered touch electrodes in odd rows and even-numbered touch electrodes in even rows
- the second touch electrodes 11-2 include even-numbered touch electrodes in odd rows. And odd touch electrodes in even rows.
- Each of the first touch electrodes 11-1 corresponds to one input port V1
- each of the second touch electrodes 11-2 corresponds to one input port V2.
- the touch electrode 11 is formed by using a common electrode. Therefore, by controlling the voltage of the touch electrode 11, it is possible to control whether the touch panel displays and the brightness of the display.
- all of the V1 ports are connected to a low level to provide a low level to all of the first touch electrodes 11-1, and may be a low level voltage of 0 V to the first touch electrodes 11-1, or V1.
- the port is grounded, or the V1 port may be suspended so that the display area where the first touch electrode 11-1 is located does not illuminate, that is, the brightness is zero.
- Step S302 The second touch electrode 11-2 is provided with a high level through the corresponding touch wire 12-2, so that the display area where the second touch electrode 11-2 is located is in a bright state.
- step S301 and step S302 may be performed simultaneously.
- the second touch electrode 11-2 is applied with a high level required for display, so that the display area where the first touch electrode 11-2 is located is illuminated to present Bright state.
- the display area where the part of the touch electrode 11-1 is in a dark state is in a bright state, and it can be conveniently determined that the display area is adjacent to the column direction in the row direction. Whether the first touch electrode 11-1 and the second touch electrode 11-2 are short-circuited.
- the display area where the first touch electrode 11-1 is located should be in a dark state.
- the display area where the second touch electrode 11-2 is located should be in a bright state, and since the first touch electrode 11-1 and the second touch electrode 11-2 are alternately arranged, the entire display area of the touch panel is presented.
- the pattern should be alternately bright and dark, as shown in Figure 2. If a first touch electrode 11-1 and a second touch electrode 11-2 are short-circuited, the short-circuited first touch electrode 11-1 will obtain the same high level as the second touch electrode 11-2. , the display area where it is located will be bright. Therefore, according to the brightness of the first touch electrode 11-1, it can be determined whether the first touch electrode 11-1 has a short circuit.
- the display area where the first touch electrode 11-1 is driven is in a dark state and the display area where the second touch electrode 11-2 is located is in a bright state, if one of the first touch electrodes 11-1 is located When the display area is in a bright state, a short circuit occurs between the first touch electrode 11-1 and the second touch electrode 11-2, and the adjacent two touch electrodes 11 are more likely to be short-circuited.
- the display area where the first touch electrode 11-1 is located is in a bright state, the first touch electrode 11-1 and the second touch electrode 11-2 adjacent thereto in the column direction or the row direction may be considered to have occurred. Short circuit.
- the first touch electrode 11-1 in the upper left corner when the first touch electrode 11-1 in the upper left corner changes from a dark state that should be present to a bright state, the first touch electrode 11-1 in the upper left corner may be A short circuit occurs with the second touch electrode 11-2 adjacent thereto in the column direction, or may be short-circuited with the second touch electrode 11-2 adjacent thereto in the row direction.
- a short circuit occurs with the other second touch electrodes 11-2.
- the short circuit between the touch electrodes may be a short circuit between the touch wires, and It may be a short circuit between the touch wire and the touch electrode, or it may be a short circuit occurring in the touch electrode itself.
- the second touch electrode 11-2 it can be determined whether the second touch electrode 11-2 is disconnected according to the brightness of the second touch electrode 11-2, that is, when one of the second touch electrodes 11-2 is in a dark state, Applying a high level to the second touch electrode 11-2 indicates that the second touch electrode 11-2 is disconnected.
- a second touch electrode 11-2 is in a dark state, a plurality of consecutive display regions exhibiting a dark state will appear. Therefore, it is only necessary to observe whether there are a plurality of consecutive display regions that exhibit a dark state. There is an open circuit of the second touch electrode 11-2.
- the second touch electrode 11-2 can be judged according to the brightness of the second touch electrode 11-2. Whether or not the touch electrode 11-2 is broken, thereby detecting the touch panel simply and effectively.
- the display area where the first touch electrode 11-1 is located and the display area where the second touch electrode 11-2 is located The same as the bright state, at this time there will be at least two consecutive display areas that are all bright.
- the failure of the touch electrode is usually divided into three situations: open circuit, short circuit, and short circuit and open circuit.
- Step S303 The first touch electrode 11-1 is provided with a high level through the corresponding touch wire 12-1, so that the display area where the first touch electrode 11-1 is located is in a bright state.
- Step S304 The second touch electrode 11-0 is provided with a low level through the corresponding touch wire 12-2, so that the display area where the second touch electrode is located is in a dark state.
- the first touch electrode 11-1 is disconnected.
- the display area where the first touch electrode is driven is in a bright state and the display area where the second touch electrode 11-2 is in a dark state
- the display area where the first touch electrode 11-1 is located should be All of them are in a bright state
- the display area where the second touch electrode 11-1 is located should all be in a dark state.
- the pattern displayed by the entire display area of the touch panel should be alternately bright and dark. If the display area corresponding to the first touch electrode 11-1 is in a dark state, it indicates that the first touch electrode 11-1 corresponding to the display area is broken. In this case, it is only necessary to observe whether multiple consecutive presentations are present.
- the display area of the dark state can quickly determine whether there is an open circuit of the first touch electrode 11-1.
- step S301 and the step S302 it is detected that the first touch electrode 11-1 in the upper left corner and the second touch electrode 11-2 adjacent thereto are short-circuited, and then step S303 and step S304 are performed. After that, if the display area where the first touch electrode 11-1 in the upper left corner and the display area where the adjacent second touch electrode 11-2 are located are in a dark state, the first touch electrode 11- 1 A short circuit occurs between the second touch electrode 11-2 and the adjacent second touch electrode 11-2.
- the first touch electrode 11-1 is only The second touch electrode 11-2, which is short-circuited, and can be determined to be short-circuited, is the second touch electrode 11-2 that is in a bright state. Therefore, the detection of the open, short, and short circuit of the touch electrode can be realized, and the judgment can be quickly made by observing the brightness and darkness of the display area, which is simple and effective.
- step S301 it may be determined whether there is an open touch electrode. Specifically, before the step S301 is performed, the first touch electrode 11-1 and the second touch electrode 11-2 are both provided with a high level through the corresponding touch wires 12-1 and 12-2 to make the first The display area where the touch electrode 11-1 is located and the display area where the second touch electrode 11-2 is located are all in a bright state, that is, the display areas corresponding to all the touch electrodes 11 are all in a bright state.
- the touch electrode 11 corresponding to the display area in which the dark state is displayed is broken, so that a part of the touch electrodes in which the disconnection occurs may be detected first.
- the short-circuit and the short-circuit and the open circuit are detected as faults, that is, steps S301 to S304 are performed.
- the first touch electrodes may be odd-numbered rows of touch electrodes, and the second touch electrodes may be even-numbered rows of touch electrodes.
- the control electrode and the second touch electrode are alternately arranged in the column direction. Providing different voltages to the first touch electrode and the second touch electrode, so that the display area where the first touch electrode is located and the display area where the second touch electrode is located have different brightness, thereby being able to be based on two adjacent The brightness of the display area where the touch electrodes are located determines whether there is a short circuit of the touch electrodes, thereby quickly and effectively detecting the short circuit of the touch electrodes.
- the first touch electrode and the second touch electrode are provided with different voltages, so that the display area where the first touch electrode is located and the display area where the second touch electrode is located have different display areas.
- the first touch electrode may be provided with a high level voltage capable of presenting a bright state
- the second touch electrode may also be provided with a high level voltage capable of presenting a bright state, by making two high levels
- the voltage has a certain difference, so that the display area where the first touch electrode is located and the display area where the second touch electrode is located have different brightness, that is, in the embodiment, the first touch electrode and the second touch electrode
- the display area is bright, but the brightness of the two is not the same.
- the driving voltage is different, the brightness is different, and the difference in driving voltage is larger, and the brightness difference is also larger.
- the first touch electrode can be supplied with a voltage of 3 V
- the second touch electrode can be supplied with a voltage of 10 V.
- the display area where the first touch electrode is located may only have weak light, and the second touch electrode is located.
- the display area may be brighter with a sharper difference between the two. Since the first touch electrode and the second touch electrode are alternately arranged, under normal circumstances, the brightness of the display area where the touch electrode having a smaller voltage is located should be relatively small, that is, the display area of the part is dark, having The brightness of the display area where the touch electrode of the larger voltage is located should be relatively large, that is, the display area of the part of the touch panel is relatively bright, so the brightness distribution of the display area of the entire touch panel should also be a light and dark distribution.
