  • An aircraft engine represented by a gas turbine engine is equipped with a heat exchanger.
  • the heat exchanger for an aircraft engine is used for cooling the lubricating oil of the aircraft engine and cooling the lubricating oil of the generator mounted on the aircraft engine.
  • Air exchangers for aircraft engines include a plate fin type, a shell and tube type, and a surface type.
  • the surface type heat exchanger can be made more compact than other heat exchangers.
  • Such surface heat exchangers are proposed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2008-144752 (Patent Document 1) and Japanese Patent No. 5442916 (Patent Document 2).
