For example, it is assumed that the user has noticed from the guide information G in FIG. 12C that the framing is “eliminating a disturbing background by approaching the subject”. In this case, the user resets the framing as shown in FIG. 13A so as to capture the entire image of the subject he / she wants to shoot, and instructs the start of shooting.
- step S118 If it is determined in step S118 that an instruction to start shooting has not been detected, the CPU 1281 returns the process to step S116. If it is determined in step S118 that an instruction to start shooting has been detected, the CPU 1281 starts the shooting operation by the imaging circuit 114. In this shooting operation, the CPU 1281 operates the imaging circuit 114 in accordance with the shooting parameters set by the user, and obtains image data (second shot image data) as a second shot image. Then, the CPU 1281 processes the second captured image data in the image processing circuit 1284, and records the processed second captured image data in the recording medium 126 as an image file associated with the first captured image data (step S120). Thereafter, the CPU 1281 ends the process of FIG. With such a photographing operation, a second photographed image as shown in FIG. 13B is recorded on the recording medium 126. The second photographed image shown in FIG. 13B is an image photographed by the user by performing framing with reference to the sample image.
- step S122 When it is determined in step S104 that the composition guide mode is not set as the operation mode, that is, the normal shooting mode is set, the CPU 1281 performs the normal shooting mode processing (step S122). Processing in the normal shooting mode is the same as in the conventional shooting mode. Therefore, it will be briefly described. That is, when an instruction to start shooting is given by the user, the CPU 1281 operates the imaging circuit 114 according to the shooting parameters set by the user to obtain captured image data. Then, the CPU 1281 processes the captured image data in the image processing circuit 1284 and records the processed captured image data in the recording medium 126 as an image file. After the normal shooting mode processing, the CPU 1281 ends the processing of FIG.
