Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wälzkörperkäfig (10, 60) für ein Wälzlager, wobei der Walzkörperkäfig (10, 60) ein erstes Seitenteil (12, 62) und ein zweites Seitenteil (14, 64) zur axialen Führung von Wälzkörpern aufweist, und bei dem die beiden Seitenteile (12, 14, 62, 64) durch Verbindungsbolzen (16, 66) axial beabstandet miteinander verbunden sind. Zur Lösung der gestellten Aufgabe ist vorgesehen, dass die Verbindungsbolzen (16, 66) an ihrem einen axialen Ende einen ersten Gewindeabschnitt (18, 68) mit einem ersten Außengewinde (34) und an ihrem zweiten axialen Ende einen zweiten Gewindeabschnitte (20, 70) mit einem zweiten Außengewände (35) aufweisen, dass die Gewindeabschnitte (18, 20; 68, 70) der Verbindungsbolzen (16, 66) jeweils in zugeordnete, ein Innengewinde (37, 39) aufweisende Gewindebohrungen (30, 32; 74, 76) im ersten Seitenteil (12, 62) und im zweiten Seitenteil (14, 64) eingeschraubt sind, und dass mindestens eine Stirnseite (108, 110) eines jeden Verbindungsbolzens (16, 66) eine Eingriffsgeometrie (114) zur zumindest bereichsweise formschlüssigen Aufnahme eines Werkzeugs zum Einschrauben der Verbindungsbolzen (16, 86) In die Gewindebohrungen (30, 32: 74, 76) der beiden Seitenteile (12, 14, 62, 64) aufweist.
