Abstract

To provide a hanging type vibration isolator which can quickly and smoothly mount a vibration isolator body on a hanging bolt, and exhibits high safety by preventing with certainty falling of the vibration isolator. In a hanging type vibration isolator, the vibration isolator body has a first engaging groove 25 which is formed in an upper side portion 21 by notching and is fittable on a shaft portion of a hanging bolt B1 from a horizontal direction in a state where the shaft portion is inserted into the first engaging groove 25. The vibration isolator has a locking lug 32 in which a second engaging groove 30 substantially equal to the first engaging groove 25 is formed by notching and which is fittable on the shaft portion of the hanging bolt B1 from a horizontal direction in a state where the shaft portion is inserted into the first engaging groove 25. The locking lug 32 is fitted on the shaft portion of the hanging bolt B1 in the state where the shaft portion is inserted into the first engaging groove 25, and the locking lug 32 and the upper side portion 21 of the vibration isolator body are sandwiched, fastened and fixed to each other from above and below by a pair of nuts 37, 38 threadedly mounted on the shaft portion of the hanging bolt B1.
