At this time, as shown in FIG. 10B, the claw portion (see FIG. 8A) formed at the tip of the cylindrical piece 623 is engaged with the lower end portion of the pressing member mounting portion 201F, so that the pressing member 62 is fixed. The Note that the cylindrical piece 623 is easily detached from the pressing member mounting portion 201F by the user lifting the pressing member 62 upward.
- the light guides 612 are inserted into the three notches 622 formed in the pressing member 62. As shown in FIG. 10B, the light emitting point 611 of the light emitting unit 61 is exposed above the upper wall cover 201A.
- the pressing portion 621 of the pressing member 62 is a pressed portion 602 (one side) of the cover 60 on the side opposite to the notch 622 in the front-rear direction (second direction) intersecting the left-right direction (first direction). Hold down. For this reason, the front and rear ends of the cover 60 are fixed, and the cover 60 is prevented from being removed.
- the pressing member 62 has a function of pressing and fixing the cover 60 and a function of supporting the light emitting unit 61.
- the light guide 612 is supported and the cover 60 is pressed using one end side and the other end side of the pressing member 62 in the front-rear direction.
- the pressing member 62 is detached from the upper wall cover 201 ⁇ / b> A, so that the inside of the cover 60 and a part of the light emitting unit 61 (light guide 612) can be cleaned.
- the light guide 612 of the light emitting unit 61 is disposed so as to protrude from the upper wall 201 of the housing 200. For this reason, it is easy for the user to visually recognize the light emitting unit 61 from the outside of the housing 200, and the predetermined notification information is easily recognized. Furthermore, since the notch 622 of the pressing member 62 supports the region of the light emitting unit 61 that protrudes from the reference surface 201B, the light guide 612 of the light emitting unit 61 is prevented from being damaged. Further, the light guide 612 is stably supported by the light guide 612 being inserted into the notch 622 formed in the pressing member 62. Further, as shown in FIG.
- the LED 206 is disposed inside the housing 200 (reference surface 201B) with respect to the reference surface 201B, it is possible to prevent a strong external force from being applied to the LED 206. Further, the light from the LED 206 is guided outside the upper wall cover 201 ⁇ / b> A of the housing 200 by the light guide 612.
- the operation key 202 can be accessed.
- the printer 100 image forming apparatus
- the present invention is not limited to this, and for example, the following modified embodiment can be taken.
- the operation unit 6 includes the LCD panel 204 and the operation key 202.
- the operation unit 6 may include one of the LCD panel 204 and the operation key 202.
- the display unit 70 is provided in the operation unit 6.
- the operation unit 6 may not be provided with the display sheet 70, and the operation information of the operation key 202 may be printed on the reference surface 201B or the cover 60.
- the cover 60 is not limited to a transparent member, and may be semi-transparent or other colors.
