- the invention relates to the field of transmitting / receiving antennas for a motor vehicle and more particularly to the attachment of these antennas.
- Motor vehicles are equipped with at least one antenna to allow transmission and reception of data between the vehicle and a source or receiver outside the vehicle.
- the radio antennas can capture the radio waves relayed by the antennas in order to broadcast, via the radio of the vehicle, a broadcast program.
- the antennas have evolved with the technological advances and make it possible, today, to capture, by radio waves, information sent by satellite, in particular geolocation information to enable navigation assistance.
- the antennas comprise transmitters / receivers and then provide communication between the vehicle and the stations external to the vehicle.
- document EP 1 903 632 discloses a motor vehicle antenna module comprising an external housing, equipped with external radio frequency interfaces for communication with a remote station, and an internal housing, equipped with an internal transmitter / receiver for communication with a station embedded in the vehicle, the housings being assembled on either side of a bodywork element of the vehicle.
- This antenna has some disadvantages.
- the inner housing is attached to the body member by a plurality of fasteners which involves an equal number of holes in the body member.
- the mounting time of the antenna module is increased and the mounting cost is also increased.

- the inner housing comprises a cavity, open on the outside of the inner housing, in which is housed the nut;
- the pin is mounted in the inner housing between an upper wall of the inner housing and a bottom wall of the cavity.
- Figure 1 is a perspective view from the rear of a motor vehicle comprising an antenna module
- Figure 2 is an exploded view of the antenna module
- Figure 3 is a sectional view of the assembled antenna module, including detail medallions.
- FIG. 1 a vehicle 1 automobile comprising an antenna module 2 for communication between a station 3 embedded in the vehicle, on the one hand, and a remote station 4 on the other.
- remote station 4 is meant a relay or any other transmission and reception point distinct from the vehicle 1, the remote station 4 being fixed (radio building or relay antenna for example) or mobile (transmission vehicle by example).
- embedded station 3 means an on-board computer, a navigation system, or a computer or several mobile equipment owned by the occupants of the vehicle for example, housed in the vehicle 1 and having an indirect interaction (in the case of the computer) or direct (in the case of the navigation system or the on-board computer) with an occupant of the vehicle 1.
- the antenna module 2 comprises an external box 5, equipped with external radio frequency interfaces 6 for communication with the remote station 4, and an internal box 7, equipped with transceivers 8 for communication with stations. 3 on board and away from the vehicle 1.
- the housings 5, 7 are assembled on either side of an element 9 of the vehicle body 1, and, in the embodiment shown in the figures, on either side of a plate of roof.
- the antenna module 2 could be implanted on a trunk lid or on a wing-top of the vehicle 1.
- the outer housing 5 comprises a pin 10, projecting, having at least one conductive section 11 connected to the external radio frequency interface 6, and at a free end, a threaded section 12;
- the internal casing 7 comprises a pin 13 complementary to the conductive section 11 of the pin 10, this pin 13 being connected to the internal transceiver 8, and
- the module 2 comprises a nut 14 screwed onto the threaded section 12 of the pin 10 of the outer casing 5, over the pin 13, to secure the inner casing 7 to the outer casing 5.
- the connection of the pin 10 to the external radio frequency interface 6 and the pin 13 to the transceiver 8 internal is by means of electric cables or electrical pads, however it could be achieved by a wireless link .
- the peg 10 is a part of revolution comprising an annular upper part 15, an intermediate part 16 (represented by a honeycomb hatch in FIG. conical shape carrying the conductive section 11, located under the upper portion, and a lower portion 17, located under the intermediate portion 16, forming the free end with the threaded section 12.
- the pin 10 further comprises at least one lug 18 projecting from the upper annular portion 15 towards the lower portion 17.
- This pin 18 is used in particular, as will be explained below, to ensure the correct positioning of the pin 10 in the outer casing 5.
