Definitions
- the present invention relates to a vascular stent that is placed in a blood vessel such as a blood vessel, trachea or bile duct of a living body and supports the lumen of the vessel from the inside.
- a stenosis occurs in a blood vessel of a living body, especially a blood vessel such as a coronary artery
- the stenosis of the blood vessel is expanded from the inside of the blood vessel using a balloon-equipped catheter device to improve blood flow.
- a percutaneous angioplasty (PTA) is being performed.
- stent placement is performed in which a stent formed in a cylindrical shape is implanted into a lesion site subjected to PTA.
- the stent is inserted into a blood vessel in a reduced diameter state, then expanded in diameter and implanted in the blood vessel, and the blood vessel is supported from the inside to maintain the patency state.
- This kind of vascular stent is inserted into a lesion site in a blood vessel together with a stent supply device such as a catheter in a reduced diameter state.
- the vascular stent inserted into the lesion site is changed from a reduced diameter state to an expanded state by using an expansion mechanism such as a balloon provided in the stent supply device, and the vascular stent is supported in an expanded state.
- the vascular stents that have been conventionally used or have been proposed conventionally are configured to be displaced into a reduced diameter state and an expanded diameter state.
- a vascular stent configured to be displaced from a reduced diameter to an expanded diameter
- a ring-shaped linear body bent in a zigzag shape is connected by a connecting member to form a tubular shape.
- the applicant of the present application includes a plurality of tubular body forming elements that constitute a part of a tubular body formed by bending a linear body made of a biodegradable polymer so that a linear portion and a bent portion are sequentially continuous. Proposed is a vascular stent which is combined with each other and has one flow path from one end side to the other end side (Patent Documents 3 and 4).

- the inside of the blood vessel be supported in a uniformly expanded state by a stent implanted in the stenosis.
- the stent uniformly expands the inner wall of the blood vessel, thereby suppressing intimal detachment at the site where the stent is implanted, and further realizing a smooth blood flow to suppress the retention of foreign substances such as thrombus.
- stenosis of a blood vessel occurs due to an atheroma caused by arteriosclerosis or when a foreign substance such as a thrombus adheres to the inner wall of the blood vessel.
- a stenotic region of a blood vessel an irregular shape and a partially enlarged portion are generated.
- the vascular stent is designed to uniformly expand and support the narrowed portion of the blood vessel in which the irregularly-shaped and partially enlarged portion is generated from the inside of the blood vessel, and is deformed following the enlarged portion generated in the intima of the blood vessel. It is desirable to support the stenosis and uniformly support the inner wall of the blood vessel. For this reason, a vascular stent implanted in a stenosis of a blood vessel where an irregularly enlarged part has occurred in the intima, when the blood vessel pulsates, is located in the vicinity of the part that supports the irregularly enlarged part. The load may be concentrated.

- a vascular stent having a connection part or a joint part when the load concentrates on the connection part or joint part of the linear member, the connection part or the joint part is damaged, and the inside of the blood vessel is evenly distributed. There is a risk that it becomes difficult to support the expansion, and the blood vessel cannot be reliably supported in an open state.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a vascular stent that can be uniformly expanded and supported from the inside of a vessel such as a blood vessel in which a stenosis portion having a partially irregular enlarged portion has occurred. It is in.
- Another object of the present invention is that even when a load is partially concentrated when implanted in a blood vessel such as a blood vessel, the load is absorbed and the stenotic vascular vessel is removed from the inside.

- connecting legs adjacent to each other of the plurality of tubular body forming elements are joined and integrated by an adhesive or spot welding.
- the one tubular body has the first and second projecting portions of the tubular body forming element as displacement portions and the outer diameter is reduced or expanded.
- the stent for blood vessels according to the present invention absorbs the load by an elastic displacement portion formed in a part of the tubular body forming element even when the load is partially concentrated when implanted in the vessel. Even in a vessel such as a blood vessel, even when implanted in a stenosis part having a partially irregular enlarged portion, it can be uniformly expanded and supported from the inside.
- the vascular stent according to the present invention realizes smooth blood flow in the vascular vessel by uniformly expanding and supporting the vascular vessel from the inside thereof, thereby preventing acute occlusion or restenosis due to intimal detachment. suppress.
- the vascular stent according to the present invention prevents the load from partially concentrating when implanted in a vascular vessel, so that the load concentrates on the connecting part or the joint of the tubular body forming element.
