- a diesel particulate filter typically includes a housing containing a substrate with various passages for the exhaust to travel through.
- the porous substrate in the interior of the diesel particulate filter consists of thousands of small parallel channels, typically oriented along the longitudinal direction of the diesel particulate filter. Adjacent channels in the filter are alternately plugged at each end. This arrangement of channels and porous walls forces the exhaust gases to flow through the porous walls.
- the porous walls act as the medium for filtering out the particulates that are too big to pass through the porous walls, which remain deposited in the channels.
- the liquid cleaning apparatus includes a series of air knife dryers enclosed within two drying modules.
- the first drying module houses a first set of top and bottom air knife dryers which includes at least one top air knife dryer, positioned above a conveyor belt carrying printed circuit boards through the liquid cleaning apparatus, and at least one bottom air knife dryer, positioned below the conveyor belt.

Abstract
L'invention concerne un système pour retirer des contaminants de filtres piégeant les contaminants qui comprend un récipient de réception de contaminant; un appareil de support de filtre pour porter un filtre piégeant les contaminants dans une relation de dépôt de contaminant par rapport au récipient de réception de contaminant; une buse d'air pour orienter un flux d'air à travers le filtre piégeant les contaminants, ce qui force les contaminants à s'échapper du filtre piégeant les contaminants; en utilisation, un filtre piégeant les contaminants étant placé, à l'aide de l'appareil de support de filtre, dans une relation de dépôt de contaminant par rapport au récipient de réception de contaminant, et de l'air étant soufflé par la buse d'air à travers le filtre piégeant les contaminants, pour ainsi retirer substantiellement des contaminants résiduels du filtre piégeant les contaminants, pour une rétention des contaminants dans le récipient de réception de contaminant; le système comprenant en outre un bain ultrasonore pour décoller initialement les contaminants dudit filtre piégeant les contaminants.
