次に、本発明の第3実施形態に係る低強度壁50Cの構成を図4~図6に基づいて説明する。図4~図6において、端板22に四角形状の貫通孔22cが形成されている。端板22の外表面に貫通孔22cの開口面積より十分大きい面積を有する四角形状の固定具62が、貫通孔22cを覆うように配置されている。固定具62は、端板22の外表面に溶着などの方法で固着されている。固定具62の内面には、低強度板60が圧入可能な深さを有する凹部62aが設けられている。図5に示すように、凹部62aは、貫通孔22cの開口面積より大きい面積を有しており、固定具62の横方向辺62bの全長に亘り形成されている。固定具62は、その外表面に、低強度板60を外部に露出させるための開口部(図示せず)が設けられている。その開口部は、貫通孔22cと整合する位置に設けることが好ましい。クランク室cが許容上限圧力を超えると、低強度壁60が破壊され、クランク室cが許容上限圧力以上に昇圧するのを防止できる。

Claims (6)
- 加圧型ブースター圧縮機であって、
シリンダと、
シリンダに設けられたシリンダヘッドと、
前記シリンダの内部で往復動し、前記シリンダヘッド及び前記シリンダと共に圧縮室を画成するピストンと、
前記ピストンに連結されたクランク軸と、
該クランク軸を回転運動させる駆動軸と、
前記クランク軸を収容し、外部と隔離されたクランク室を画成するクランクケースと、
前記圧縮室及び前記クランク室に、夫々、加圧された被圧縮気体を供給する加圧気体供給管とを備え、
前記クランクケースは隔壁を備えており、前記隔壁は、外方に面した一部に、前記クランク室の許容上限圧力で破壊する低強度壁を備えたことを特徴とする加圧型ブースター圧縮機。 - 請求項1に記載の加圧型ブースター圧縮機において、
前記クランクケースの隔壁は、
外周壁と、一方の端面を形成する端壁とを有し、他方の端面が外方に開放された中空筒体と、
前記中空筒体に固定されて前記他方の端面を閉鎖する端板とを備え、
前記端板に前記加圧気体供給管が接続されると共に、前記端板は、該加圧気体供給管が接続された位置と異なる位置に形成された前記低強度壁を備えていることを特徴とする加圧型ブースター圧縮機。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の加圧型ブースター圧縮機において、
前記低強度壁は、前記クランクケースの外方に面した隔壁又は前記端板に形成された薄肉部を備えていることを特徴とする加圧型ブースター圧縮機。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の加圧型ブースター圧縮機において、
前記クランクケースの外方に面した隔壁又は前記端板に貫通孔が形成され、
前記低強度壁は、
前記クランク室の許容上限圧力で破壊する強度を有し、前記貫通孔周辺の前記隔壁又は前記端板の外表面に当接され前記貫通孔を遮蔽する低強度板と、
前記貫通孔周辺の前記隔壁又は前記端板の外表面に固定され、前記低強度板を前記貫通孔を遮蔽した位置に固定する固定具とを備えていることを特徴とする加圧型ブースター圧縮機。 - 請求項4に記載の加圧型ブースター圧縮機において、
前記固定具が、前記貫通孔周辺の前記隔壁又は前記端板の外表面に着脱可能に固定されていることを特徴とする加圧型ブースター圧縮機。 - 請求項4に記載の加圧型ブースター圧縮機において、
前記貫通孔周辺の前記隔壁又は前記端板の外表面と前記固定具との間に隙間が形成されており、
前記低強度板は、断面がクサビ状に形成され、前記隙間に圧入されて前記貫通孔を遮蔽する位置に固定されていることを特徴とする加圧型ブースター圧縮機。
