Following this request for authorization to cross by a pedestrian, the authorization unit 42 firstly requires, in the manner clarified below, that the traffic along the roadway C be stopped, and subsequently commands the flow control means 411 of the entryways 41 to allow pedestrian access toward the roadway C, which was previously prohibited.
  • said authorization unit 42 preferably but not necessarily comprises a button 421, installed in the vicinity of the entryways 41 , so as to allow pedestrians to make a request for authorization to cross the roadway C.

  • Each one of the two bicycle crossings 5 is also equipped with an entry lane 7 communicating with the crossing corridor 6 and constructed along one of the two pavements B.

  • the crossing system 1 of the invention is equipped with four movable bars 8, located two by two on opposite sides of the aforementioned crossing complex. Even in this case, each one of the four bars 8 is configured so that it can lower and block the motor vehicles circulating on one lane of said four-lane roadway C.
  • the two movable bars 81 located at the level of the innermost lanes of the four-lane roadway C are configured so that, if there is a request for authorization to cross or if the passage of a bicycle is detected, they can be lowered before the two movable bars 82 located at the level of the outermost lanes of the same roadway C.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système (1) de traversée adapté à permettre à des piétons et/ou à des personnes utilisant des vélos de traverser une voie de circulation (C) de manière sûre, du type comprenant un passage pour piétons (2) régulé pourvu de passages cloutés (3) et de deux structures architecturales (4) agencées sur les deux trottoirs (B) de part et d'autre de la voie de circulation (C). Lesdites structures architecturales (4) sont pourvues d'au moins un passage d'entrée (41) équipé d'un moyen de régulation (411) de flux de piétons configuré de sorte à permettre ou à empêcher le transit des piétons à partir du trottoir (B) vers la voie de circulation (C) et d'une unité d'autorisation (42) configurée de sorte à permettre qu'une demande d'autorisation de traverser la voie de circulation (C) soit réalisée et à permettre l'accès de ceux-ci une fois interrompu le trafic de véhicules automobiles circulant le long de la voie de circulation (C). Le système de traversée comprend également un passage cyclable (5) équipé d'un ou de plusieurs capteurs (72) adaptés à détecter le passage de vélos et d'une unité de commande (73) communiquant de manière fonctionnelle avec les capteurs (72) et configurée de sorte à donner l'instruction d'une interruption dudit trafic de véhicules automobiles le long de la voie de circulation (C) lorsque les capteurs (72) détectent le passage d'un vélo. Enfin, le système (1) de traversée comprend une ou plusieurs barrières mobiles (8) agencées au niveau de la voie de circulation (C) et adaptées à interrompre le trafic de véhicules automobiles.
