Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de réaliser une assistance du système de direction d'un véhicule, l'assistance de direction comportant un moteur d'entraînement et une commande pourvue d'une boucle de rétroaction. Ledit procédé comprend les étapes qui suivent consistant à : constater une défaillance de la boucle de rétroaction (1); mettre la boucle de rétroaction (1) à l'arrêt; et activer le moteur d'entraînement (2) pour produire l'assistance de direction sans boucle de rétroaction.
