Description

燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法、燃料電池用の触媒層の製造方法、燃料電池用の膜電極接合体の製造方法
 この発明は、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法、燃料電池用の触媒層の製造方法、燃料電池用の膜電極接合体の製造方法に関する。
 燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法につき、(a)電極触媒に水と低級アルコール(炭素数4以下)を混合し電極触媒粒子を分散させて分散液を得、(b)アイオノマーを溶媒に混合し20℃における比誘電率が30以上のアイオノマー溶液を得、(c)工程(a)で得られた分散液と工程(b)で得られたアイオノマー溶液とを混合して分散液を得、(d)工程(c)で得られた分散液に20℃における比誘電率が20以下の分散媒である低比誘電率分散媒を混合することにより分散液の粘度を高める工程を有する製造方法が知られている。

 上記技術の場合、高粘度のアイオノマー溶液でなければ、触媒インクを用いて製造された触媒層に亀裂が生じやすい。一方、燃料電池の発電効率や寿命からは、イオン交換当量が大きいほうが好ましい。イオン交換当量(EW値)が900g/mol以上の場合、アイオノマー溶液の粘度を高くする(例えば貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上の調製する)ことが容易でないという問題があった。
 本発明は、上述の課題の少なくとも一部を解決するためになされたものであり、以下の形態として実現することが可能である。
(1)本発明の一形態によれば、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法が提供される。この燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法は、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法であって、(i)電極触媒と、水と、アルコールと、を混合して触媒分散液を作製する工程と、(ii)アイオノマーと、溶媒とを混合してゲル化アイオノマー溶液を作製する工程と、(iii)前記触媒分散液と、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液とを混合して触媒インクを製造する工程と、を備え、前記工程(ii)において、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を濃縮する濃縮工程を含む。この形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法によれば、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を濃縮することにより、アイオノマー中に含まれていた溶解度パラメーター(SP値)の大きな成分である水を溶媒と同時に蒸発させることで減少させることで、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を下げ、他の条件を調製するよりも容易に、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製することが可能となる。
(2)上記形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、前記工程(ii)において、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液は、固形成分と溶媒成分とを含んでおり、前記濃縮工程は、前記溶媒成分の溶解度パラメーター(SP値)を12.3以下に調製する工程を含んでいてもよい。この形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法によれば、イオン交換当量(EW値)が900g/mol以上のアイオノマーであっても、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を12.3以下に調製するので、他の条件を調製するよりも容易に、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製することが可能となる。
(3)上記形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、前記濃縮工程は、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の前記アイオノマーの質量パーセントを40~50%に濃縮する濃縮工程を含んでもよい。この形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法によれば、前記アイオノマーの質量パーセントを40~50%に濃縮する工程により、SP値の大きな水を溶媒と同時に蒸発させることで減少させることができる。
(4)上記形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、前記濃縮工程後、アルコールを加えて、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントを17.5wt%以上25wt%以下とする工程を備えてもよい。この形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法によれば、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製することが容易となる。
(5)上記形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、前記濃縮工程後、アルコールを加えて、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントを20wt%以上25wt%以下とする工程を備えてもよい。この形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法によれば、アイオノマーEW値等にばらつきがあっても、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製することが容易となる。
(6)上記形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、さらに、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を70℃~90℃の温度で4時間以上保持する工程を備えてもよい。この形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法によれば、容易にゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製することが可能となる。
(7)上記形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を70℃~90℃の温度で保持する時間は5時間以上であってもよい。この形態の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法によれば、アイオノマーのEW値等にばらつきがあっても、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製することが容易となる。
 なお、本発明は種々の形態で実現することが可能であり、例えば、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法のほか、燃料電池用の触媒層の製造方法、燃料電池用膜電極接合体の製造方法、燃料電池の製造方法等の形態で実現することができる。

 図1は、本発明の一実施形態としての燃料電池の構成の一例を示す概略図である。この燃料電池100は、反応ガスとして水素と酸素の供給を受けて発電する固体高分子形燃料電池である。燃料電池100は、複数の単セル10を備える。複数の単セル10は、積層されて、スタック構造を形成している。
 単セル10は、膜電極接合体5と、膜電極接合体5を狭持する第1のセパレータ7と、第2のセパレータ8とを備える。なお、各単セル10には、流体の漏洩を防止するシール部や、膜電極接合体5に反応ガスを供給するためのマニホールドなどが設けられるが、その図示および説明は省略する。
 膜電極接合体5は、電解質膜1と、第1の電極触媒層2と、第2の電極触媒層3と、を備える発電体である。電解質膜1は、イオン伝導性を有するポリマー(以下、「アイオノマー」と呼ぶ)の薄膜によって構成されており、湿潤状態で良好なプロトン伝導性を示す。電解質膜1は、例えば、フッ素樹脂系のイオン交換膜によって構成することができる。より具体的には、電解質膜1は、ナフィオン(Nafion:登録商標)など、側鎖末端に-SOH基を有するパーフルオロスルホン酸ポリマーを用いることができる。
 第1の電極触媒層2と、第2の電極触媒層3は、電解質膜1の両面にそれぞれ配置されている。第1の電極触媒層2と、第2の電極触媒層3は、燃料電池反応を促進するための触媒(例えば白金(Pt)など)が担持された触媒電極であり、ガス透過性およびガス拡散性を有する。燃料電池100の運転時には、第1の電極触媒層2は、酸素の供給を受けて、カソードとして機能し、第2の電極触媒層3は、水素の供給を受けて、アノードとして機能する。
 第1の電極触媒層2と、第2の電極触媒層3は、触媒インクを塗布・乾燥させることによって形成される。触媒インクは、親水性の溶媒に、アイオノマーと、導電性粒子に触媒を担持させた触媒担持粒子と、を溶媒に分散させることにより形成される。アイオノマーは、電解質膜1に含まれるアイオノマーと同一のアイオノマーであってもよく、類似のアイオノマーであってもよい。本実施形態において第1の電極触媒層2と、第2の電極触媒層3の形成に用いられる触媒インクについては、後述する膜電極接合体5の製造工程の説明において、詳細に説明する。
 なお、第1の電極触媒層2の外側と、第2の電極触媒層3の外側には、それぞれ、反応ガスを電極面に行き渡らせるためのガス拡散層が配置されても良い。ガス拡散層としては、炭素繊維や黒鉛繊維など、導電性およびガス透過性・ガス拡散性を有する多孔質の繊維基材や、発泡金属、エキスパンドメタルなどの多孔質に加工された金属板などを用いることが可能である。
 膜電極接合体5の第1の電極触媒層2の外側には、第1のセパレータ7が配置され、第2の電極触媒層3の外側には、第2のセパレータ8が配置される。第1のセパレータ7と第2のセパレータ8は、導電性を有するガス不透過の板状部材(例えば金属板)によって構成することができる。第1のセパレータ7と第2のセパレータ8の、膜電極接合体5側の面には、反応ガス(酸素あるいは水素)を流すための流路溝9が発電領域全体に渡って形成されている。なお、流路溝9は省略されるものとしても良い。
 図2は、膜電極接合体5の製造工程の手順を示すフローチャートである。ステップS10では、触媒分散液を作製する。
 図3は、触媒分散液を作製する工程(ステップS10)を説明する説明図である。ステップS10は、2つのステップS12、S14を備える。ステップS12では、触媒分散液の材料を混合する。具体的には、触媒金属を担持しているカーボンに、イオン交換水を加える。触媒金属としては、例えば、白金、あるいは白金と他の金属との合金を用いることが可能である。以下、触媒金属を担持しているカーボンを「触媒担持粒子」と呼び、イオン交換水を単に「水」と呼ぶ。触媒担持粒子と水とを先に混合して、触媒担持粒子を水に浸漬させておくことにより、エタノールあるいは1-プロパノールなどのアルコール等の溶媒を添加したときの発火を抑制することができる。その後、エタノールあるいは1-プロパノールなどの親水性溶媒(以下「溶媒」と呼ぶ。)を加える。その後、さらに、アイオノマーを加える。このアイオノマーは、触媒担持粒子の分散を促進させるための界面活性剤として機能する。なお、親水性溶媒が投入される前の触媒担持粒子の分散水溶液に、アイオノマー溶液が添加されるものとしても良い。
 ステップS14では、触媒担持粒子と、水と、溶媒と、アイオノマーと、の混合物を超音波、あるいは、ビーズミルを用いて分散する。これにより、触媒担持粒子と、水と、溶媒と、アイオノマーと、の混合物を、微粒子化し、均一な分散状態とすることが可能である。
 図2のステップS20では、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を作製する。
 図4は、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を作製する工程(ステップS20)を説明する説明図である。ステップS20は、4つのステップS22、S24、S26、S28を備える。ステップS22では、アイオノマーとアルコール等の溶媒(例えば、エタノールと1-プロパノールの混合溶媒)とを混合して撹拌する。ステップS24では、アイオノマーと溶媒との混合溶液をアイオノマーの質量パーセントが40~50wt%となるまで溶媒を蒸発させて濃縮する。ステップS26では、アルコール等を加え、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントを下げる。ステップS28では、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を70~90℃に昇温し、一定時間保持する。
 本実施形態において、ステップS24で溶媒を濃縮した後、ステップS26で再びアルコールを加えるのは、以下の理由による。アイオノマーには、水が含まれている。水のSP値の文献値は、25℃で23.4と大きい。SP値とは、溶解度パラメータ(Solubility Parameter)のことである。標準状態(25℃、1気圧)のSP値δは、
 δ=√((ΔH―RT)/V)
 で定義される。ここで、ΔHは、標準状態のモル蒸発エンタルピー、Rは気体定数、Tは絶対温度(25℃=293.15k)、Vは標準状態のモル体積、である。本実施形態では、後述するように、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を12.3以下としたい。しかし、SP値の大きな水の影響のため、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を下げにくい。本実施形態では、水とアルコール等と混合し、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分から水とアルコールとをともに減少させ、その後アルコール等を加えて、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を下げている。
 図2のステップS30では、触媒分散液に、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を加え、軽く撹拌する。触媒分散液と、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液との混合溶液を二液混合溶液と呼ぶ。ステップS40では、二液混合溶液に対して高いせん断力を印加して二液混合溶液を分散し、触媒インクを製造する。
 ステップS50では、ステップS40までの工程により製造された触媒インクを、基材上に塗布、乾燥することにより、触媒層を形成する。ステップS60では、触媒層を、基材から電解質膜1の各面にそれぞれ熱転写することで、第1の電極触媒層2と第2の電極触媒層3を形成し、膜電極接合体5を製造する。
実施例:
<ステップS10:触媒分散液の調製>
 白金コバルト合金からなる触媒を担持したカーボン粒子(触媒担持粒子)に、触媒担持粒子の質量の1~5倍程度の質量のイオン交換水を加え、さらに、触媒担持粒子の質量の3~5倍程度の質量のエタノールと、アイオノマーとして旭化成(株)製のSS900C/10を、触媒担持粒子の質量に対して10~20wt%加えて、十分に撹拌することにより、触媒分散液を調製した。
<ステップS20:ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の調製>
 アイオノマーとして旭化成(株)製のSS900C/10を用い、これに溶媒としてエタノールと1-プロパノール(以下「アルコール等」と呼ぶ。)を加えて撹拌した。その後、SS900C/10の質量パーセントが、40~50wt%となるまで、溶媒を蒸発させた後、再びアルコール等を加えた。なお、溶媒を蒸発させるときには、アイオノマー中の水も蒸発する。なお、溶媒を蒸発させるときときの温度は、アルコールと水との共沸温度でなくてもよい。
<ステップS30:触媒分散液とゲル化アイオノマー溶液の混合・撹拌>
 触媒分散液に、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を混合した。触媒分散液に加えられるゲル化アイオノマー溶液は、触媒担持粒子の質量に対して、質量パーセントで50~70wt%の量であることが好ましい。その後、ヘリカル形状の撹拌羽根を回転速度50~200rpmの範囲内で回転させることにより1~2時間撹拌し、低せん断力を印加した。
<ステップS40:二液混合溶液の分散>
 二液混合溶液に対して、プライミックス社製のフィルミックス56-50型を用いて、周速:10m/sで、約5分間、高せん断力を印加することにより、触媒インクを得た。
<ステップS50:触媒層の作製>
 上記工程によって得られた各触媒インクを、ドクターブレード式のアプリケータによって、テフロン(登録商標)のフィルム基材上に塗布し、100℃で加熱して乾燥させることにより触媒層を作製した。
<ステップS60:電解質膜への触媒層の転写>
 ナフィオン112の薄膜の両面に、上記の触媒層を130℃のホットプレスにより、フィルム基材から転写して接合した。
<評価>
 図5は、アイオノマーのEWと、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率が150Pa以上となるときのゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値と、の関係を示すグラフである。EW値とは、イオン交換当量であり、イオン交換基(本実施形態では、スルホン酸基)1mol当たりのアイオノマーの乾燥質量である。EW値が大きいということは、アイオノマー単位重量当たりのスルホン酸基の数が少ないことを意味する。EW値が小さいアイオノマーを用いた触媒インクにより触媒電極を形成すると、触媒電極における水分の移動性が低下し、発電性能が低下する可能性が高くなる。また、EW値が小さいアイオノマーは熱水(例えば、80℃以上の水)に溶けやすいため、EW値が小さいアイオノマーを用いた触媒インクにより形成された触媒電極は、運転中の燃料電池内部のような高温多湿の環境に対する耐久性が低下してしまう可能性がある。そのため、EW値の大きなアイオノマーを用いることが好ましい。一方、EW値が900g/molより大きいアイオノマーを用いると、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を増粘させることが困難となるという問題があった。
 すべての物質は、粘弾性(粘性と弾性の両方を合わせた性質)を有している。弾性はフックの法則などの応力-ひずみ関係で記述され、粘性はニュートンの粘性法則などの応力-ひずみ速度の関係で記述される。粘弾性のこれらに相当するパラメータが複素弾性率である。粘弾性は、粘弾性体に正弦波形のひずみを入力したときの応力の応答によって定義される。複素弾性率は複素数で表され、実部が貯蔵弾性率、虚部が損失弾性率と呼ばれる。
 本実施例では、アントンパール社製の動的粘弾性測定装置によって、1Hzの周波数の振動を印加し、歪み量が1%のときの値を計測することにより、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を得た。なお、アントンパール社製の動的粘弾性測定装置に用いるプレートの種類として、アントンパール社製のPP25を用いた。
 本実施例において、貯蔵弾性率の判断基準を150Paとした理由は、以下の理由による。貯蔵弾性率が150Pa未満のゲル化アイオノマー溶液を用いて触媒インクを形成した場合には、触媒インクの塗布工程において、十分な塗膜強度を得られず、触媒電極の劣化の可能性が高くなるからである。
 本実施例において、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値は、アイオノマーに加える溶媒の種類、混合比率を調整することで、調製可能である。例えば、標準状態(25℃、1気圧)におけるエタノールのSP値は、12.92であり、1-プロパノールのSP値は、11.97である。したがって、エタノールと1-プロパノールの混合比率を変えることにより、溶媒のSP値を調整することが可能である。上述したように、アイオノマーには、水(SP値23.4)が含まれているので、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分の水の量も考慮してSP値を12.3以下とするために加えるエタノールと1-プロパノールの量を算出することが好ましい。なお、ガスクロマトグラフを用いて、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分中のエタノールと、1-プロパノールと、水の含有比率を、定量分析し、SP値の理論値を用いて加重平均することで、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を取得することが可能である。
 図5から、EW値と、貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上とするのに必要なSP値の間には、有意な関係があることがわかる。EW値が900g/molという大きな値のとき、貯蔵弾性率が150Pa以上となるのは、SP値が12.3以下のときである。エタノールのSP値は、12.92であり、12.3よりも大きい。また、1-プロパノールのSP値は、11.97であり、12.3よりも小さい。したがって、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値の調製のときに加えるアルコールの量について、エタノールの比率を下げ、1-プロパノールの比率を上げることにより、SP値を12.3以下とすることが可能である。なお、EW値が900g/molよりも大きな値のときは、目標のSP値の大きさを12.3よりも小さくしてもよい。
 図6は、EW値が900のアイオノマーを用い、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を12.3としたときの、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントと、貯蔵弾性率との関係を示す説明図である。図6からわかるように、平均値でみれば、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントが17.5wt%以上であれば、貯蔵弾性率は150Pa以上となる。また、ばらつきを考慮すれば、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントが20wt%以上であれば、貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上とできる。なお、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントを25wt%より大きくしても、貯蔵弾性率は、約200Paより大きくし難い。したがって、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントは、17.5wt%~25wt%が好ましく、20wt%~25wt%がより好ましい。ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントは、25wt%より大きくてもよい。
 図7は、EW値が900のアイオノマーを用い、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を12.3とし、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントを20wt%としたときの、加熱保持時間と貯蔵弾性率との関係を示す説明図である。図7からわかるように、平均値でみれば、加熱保持時間が4時間以上であれば、貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上とできる。また、ばらつきを考慮すれば、加熱保持時間が5時間以上であれば、貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上とできる。なお、加熱保持時間を6~7時間以上としても、貯蔵弾性率は、約200Paより大きくなり難い。加熱保持時間は短い方が製造コスト面から有利である。したがって、加熱保持時間は、4時間~7時間が好ましく、5時間~6時間がより好ましい。
 以上、本実施例によれば、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を調製するときの溶媒成分のSP値を12.3とするので、アイオノマーのEW値が900g/molであっても、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製可能である。
 また、本実施例によれば、EW値が900のアイオノマーを用い、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を12.3としたときのゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントを17.5wt%~25wt%とするので、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製可能である。なお、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントは、20wt%~25wt%であることがより好ましい。アイオノマーのEW値にばらつきがあっても、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製可能である。
 また、本実施例によれば、EW値が900のアイオノマーを用い、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を12.3とし、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントを20wt%とし、加熱保持時間を4時間~7時間とするので、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製可能である。なお、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の加熱保持時間は、5時間~6時間であることがより好ましい。アイオノマーのEW値にばらつきがあっても、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製可能である。
 上記実施形態では、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を12.3としたが、SP値は、12.3に限定されるものではない。アイオノマーと、溶媒とを混合した後、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を濃縮して、アイオノマー中に含まれていたSP値の大きな水を減少させることにより、ゲル化アイオノマー溶液の溶媒成分のSP値を下げることが可能となる。その結果、他のパラメータを調製するよりも、より容易にゲル化アイオノマー溶液の貯蔵弾性率を150Pa以上に調製可能となる。
 以上、いくつかの実施形態に基づいて本発明の実施の形態について説明してきたが、上記した発明の実施の形態は、本発明の理解を容易にするためのものであり、本発明を限定するものではない。本発明は、その趣旨並びに特許請求の範囲を逸脱することなく、変更、改良され得るとともに、本発明にはその等価物が含まれることはもちろんである。

Claims (9)

  1.  燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法であって、
     (i)電極触媒と、水と、アルコールと、を混合して触媒分散液を作製する工程と、
     (ii)アイオノマーと、溶媒とを混合してゲル化アイオノマー溶液を作製する工程と、
     (iii)前記触媒分散液と、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液とを混合して触媒インクを製造する工程と、
     を備え、
     前記工程(ii)において、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を濃縮する濃縮工程を含む、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法。
  2.  請求項1に記載の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、
     前記工程(ii)において、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液は、固形成分と溶媒成分とを含んでおり、
     前記濃縮工程は、前記溶媒成分の溶解度パラメーター(SP値)を12.3以下に調製する工程を含む、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法。 
  3.  請求項1または2に記載の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、
     前記濃縮工程は、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の前記アイオノマーの質量パーセントを40~50%に濃縮する濃縮工程を含む、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法。
  4.  請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、
     前記濃縮工程後、アルコールを加えて、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントを17.5wt%以上25wt%以下とする工程を備える、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法。
  5.  請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、おいて、
     前記濃縮工程後、アルコールを加えて、前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液中の固形分の質量パーセントを20wt%以上25wt%以下とする工程を備える、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法。
  6.  請求項4または5に記載の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、さらに、
     前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を70℃~90℃の温度で4時間以上保持する工程を備える、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法。
  7.  請求項6に記載の燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法において、
     前記ゲル化アイオノマー溶液を70℃~90℃の温度で保持する時間は5時間以上である、燃料電池用の触媒インクの製造方法。
  8.  燃料電池用の触媒層の製造方法であって、
     請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法により製造された燃料電池用の触媒インクを基材に塗布する工程と、
     前記燃料電池用の触媒インクを加熱して乾燥させる工程と、
     を備える、燃料電池用の触媒層の製造方法。
  9.  燃料電池用の膜電極接合体の製造方法であって、
     請求項8に記載の製造方法により製造された燃料電池用の触媒層を、温度130℃のホットプレスにより前記基材から電解質膜に転写する工程を有する、燃料電池用の膜電極接合体の製造方法。
