Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen trockenlauffähigen Polymergleitwerkstoff, umfassend einen Polymermatrixwerkstoff und Füllstoffe, wobei die Füllstoffe Verstärkungspartikel, Hartstoffpartikel und Schmierstoffpartikel umfassen. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin eine Gleitringdichtung, umfassend einen rotierenden Gleitring und einen stationären Gegenring, wobei der Gleitring und/oder der Gegenring den trockenlauffähigen Polymergleitwerkstoff umfasst. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung die Verwendung solcher trockenlauffähiger Polymerwerkstoffe für Trockenlaufanwendungen, insbesondere als Werkstoff für Verdrängerelemente in nass und trocken laufenden Pumpen.
