- the selection candidate objects that can be switched by the jog dial 45 the latest operation objects of the groups A to D among the buttons 52 to 55 acquired in S3 are specified.
- the CPU 41 determines whether or not the jog dial 45 or the direction input key 46 has been operated. If it is determined that the jog dial 45 or the direction input key 46 has been operated (S6: YES), the process proceeds to S7. On the other hand, when it is determined that the jog dial 45 or the direction input key 46 is not operated (S6: NO), the process proceeds to S8.
- the CPU 41 switches the position of the cursor 56 based on the operation of the received jog dial 45 or the direction input key 46 (that is, switches the selection target). Specifically, among the selection candidate objects set for each operation means in S6, the selection objects are sequentially switched in the order according to the rotation direction or the instruction direction.
- the switching operation of the selection object in S7 will be described using a specific example with reference to FIG.
- the group including the selection target is switched in the order according to the rotation direction. That is, when rotated in the right direction, the group including the selection target is switched in the order of group A, group B, group C, and group D (or vice versa in the left direction). Further, within a group, among the plurality of selection candidate objects included in the group, the selection objects are sequentially switched in the order according to the rotation direction.
- the jog dial 45 when the jog dial 45 is rotated to the right, the order of the button 52, the character input button 53 for "A”, the character input button 53 for "B”, the character input button 53 for "C”,.
- the selection object is switched in the opposite direction (if it is in the left direction).

- the group including the selection target is switched in the order according to the designated direction.
- the group including the selection target is switched in the order of group A, group B, group C, and group D (or vice versa in the left direction).
- the selection object is not switched. Accordingly, when the direction input key 46 is directed to the right, the button 52 that is the latest operation target of the group A, the character input button 53 of “C” that is the latest operation target of the group B, and the group C
- the selection target object is switched in the order of the button 54 which is the latest operation object of the button and the button 55 which is the latest operation object of the group D (the reverse is the case in the left direction).
- the jog dial 45 is used for operation, and the selection object must be switched between groups.
- the operation is performed using the direction input key 46, so that even if a large number of selection target candidates are arranged on the display screen, a simple operation can be performed. This makes it possible to select a selection target candidate intended by the user.
- the group first using the direction input key 46 and then switching the selection target in the group using the direction input key 46, compared with the case where only the jog dial 45 is used, It becomes possible to select and operate the selection candidate object desired by the user with a smaller number of operations.
- the CPU 41 determines whether or not the enter key 47 has been operated. If it is determined that the enter key 47 has been operated (S8: YES), the process proceeds to S9. On the other hand, when it is determined that the enter key 47 is not operated (S8: NO), the process proceeds to S11.
- the CPU 41 performs an operation according to the selection object currently in the selected state. For example, when a menu icon is selected, the selected menu icon is executed, and when a character input button is selected, characters corresponding to the selected character input button are input. Thereafter, the process proceeds to S10.
- the CPU 41 stores the selection candidate object operated in S9 as a latest operation object in the DB or the like.
- the latest operation object that has been operated most recently for each group is stored.
- the button inevitably corresponds to the object to be operated most recently. There is no need to memorize the operation object.
- the CPU 41 determines whether or not the selection and operation of the selection candidate object displayed on the liquid crystal display 15 is finished. For example, when the ACC is turned off or when a specific operation is accepted, it is determined that the selection and operation of the selection candidate object displayed on the liquid crystal display 15 is finished.
- a plurality of selection candidate objects such as GUI buttons and icons are provided.
- the group including the selection target is switched in the order according to the accepted operation, and the group includes the group.
- the selection objects are sequentially switched in the order according to the accepted operation.
- the operation by the direction input key 46 is accepted, the order is selected according to the accepted operation. Switch the group that contains the selection object and switch the selection object within the group.
- the number of the selection objects can be reduced as compared with the case where only the jog dial 45 is used. It is possible to select and operate the selection candidate object desired by the user by the number of operations.
- the selection candidate object that has been operated most recently for each group is selected, so that the selection candidate object that is highly likely to be selected is preferentially selected and It becomes possible to do. As a result, it is possible to select and operate the selection candidate object desired by the user with a smaller number of operations.
- the selection candidate objects displayed on the liquid crystal display 15 are grouped according to the type of the selection candidate object, when the selection object is switched by operating the direction input key 46, the selection is performed in units of types. The object can be switched. Further, since the selection candidate objects to be switched are increased by operating the jog dial 45 rather than the direction input key 46, the operation can be performed in the dial operation with less operation fatigue even when the number of switching is increased. It is possible to reduce the operation burden on the user.
- the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various improvements and modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
- the jog dial 45 and the direction input key 46 are used as operation means, but other forms of operation means (for example, a trackball, a tablet, etc.) can also be used.
- the jog dial 45 performs a switching operation for all selection objects regardless of the group, and the direction input key 46 performs the switching operation so that only the latest operation object is selected for each group.
- the functions of each other may be reversed (the switching operation of all selection objects is performed by the direction input key 46, and the switching operation between the latest operation objects is performed by the jog dial 45).
- the jog dial 45 is used to perform a switching operation for all the selection objects regardless of the group, and the direction input key 46 is configured to perform the switching operation so that only the latest operation object is selected for each group.
- the switching operation content may be changed for each group. For example, as shown in FIG. 7, when there are a group of character input buttons for inputting alphabetic characters and a group of character input buttons for inputting numerical symbols, the jog dial 45 is operated to input alphabetic characters.
- selection candidate objects are sequentially switched and selected, and for the group of character input buttons for inputting numeric symbols, the nearest operation object (in the example shown in FIG. 7, “7” character input Button) only.
- the nearest operation object (“C” character input button in the example shown in FIG. 7) is selected for the group of character input buttons for inputting English characters, and the input of numeric symbols is performed.
- the selection candidate objects are sequentially switched and selected.
- the selection target object switching operation is performed on all selection candidate objects regardless of the group.
- the switching target may be limited to only the selection candidate target to which it belongs. For example, in the example illustrated in FIG. 5, when the switching target is limited to only the group A and the group B, the selection target object among the selection candidate objects belonging to the group A and the group B in the order according to the rotation direction. Are configured to be switched. That is, even when the group B “OK” is selected as the selection object, the selection object is not switched even if the jog dial 45 is further turned clockwise.
- the group including the selection target when an operation with the direction input key 46 is received, the group including the selection target is switched for all the groups, but the selection target is only within a specific group. It may be configured to switch a group including. For example, in the example shown in FIG. 5, when the group to be switched is limited to only the group A, the group C, and the group D among the groups A to D, the group A and the group C in the order according to the instruction direction. And the group including the selection object is switched only between the group D and the group D. In that case, the selection candidate objects belonging to the group B are not selected.
- the specific group may be set in advance for each display screen, or may be set by the user.
- the number of selection target candidates included in the group may be a group having a predetermined number (for example, 1) or less.
- a predetermined number for example, 1
- it is possible to quickly select a specific type of selection candidate object for example, buttons 52, 54, and 55 in FIG. 5).
- the present invention can be applied to an audio device, a smartphone connected to a vehicle, and the like.
- the present invention can also be applied to devices other than the vehicle-mounted device.
- the present invention can be applied to various devices including an operation unit that receives user operations such as a personal computer, a smartphone, and a tablet terminal and a display screen that displays a selection candidate object.
- the operation support system can also have the following configuration, and in that case, the following effects can be obtained.
- the first configuration is as follows. Operation means for operating a selection target object in a selected state among selection candidate objects based on a user operation, and storage means for storing a selection candidate object operated most recently for each group.
- the object switching means receives an operation by the second operation input device, the object switching means switches the group including the selection object in the order according to the received operation and includes a plurality of selection candidates included in the group within the group.
- a selection candidate object that has been operated most recently among the objects is used as a selection object.
- the selection candidate object operated most recently is selected for each group.
- the object can be preferentially selected. As a result, it is possible to select and operate the selection candidate object desired by the user with a smaller number of operations.
- the second configuration is as follows.
- a plurality of selection candidate objects displayed on the display screen is divided into groups for each type of selection candidate object.
- a group is classified for each type of selection candidate object for a plurality of selection candidate objects displayed on the display screen, so that the selection object is operated by operating the second operation input device.
- the selection object can be switched in units of types.
- the third configuration is as follows.
- the first operation input device is a device that accepts a user's dial operation
- the second operation input device is a device that accepts a user's direction instruction operation
- the object switching means is dialed by the first operation input device.
- the group including the selection object is switched in the order according to the accepted rotation direction, and the group follows the accepted rotation direction among a plurality of selection candidate objects included in the group.
- the selection objects are sequentially switched in order, and when a direction instruction operation is received by the second operation input device, the group including the selection objects is switched in the order according to the received direction instruction.
- the operation support system having the above-described configuration, since the device that accepts the user's dial operation is used as the first operation input device and the device that accepts the user's direction instruction operation is used as the second operation input device, the number of times of switching increases. However, it is possible to set the number of selection candidate objects to be switched in the dial operation with less operation fatigue. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the operation burden on the user.
- the fourth configuration is as follows.
- the object switching means is characterized in that, when an operation by the second operation input device is received, the group including the selected object is switched among the specific group among the plurality of groups. According to the operation support system having the above configuration, since the group to be switched is limited in the operation by the second operation input device, even when there are many selection candidate objects, the selection candidate object desired by the user is selected. It becomes possible to select more quickly.
- the fifth configuration is as follows.
- the specific group is a group in which the number of selection target candidates included in the group is a predetermined number or less. According to the operation support system having the above configuration, in the operation by the second operation input device, the group to be switched is limited to a group with a small number of selection target candidates. It becomes possible to select a thing quickly.
- the sixth configuration is as follows.
- the object switching means when receiving an operation by the first operation input device, selects all the selection candidate objects included in the group in the order according to the received operation as the selection object, and then selects the selection object. It is characterized in that the group to be included is switched to the next group.
- the first operation input is performed when it is necessary to continuously switch the selection objects within a group including a large number of selection candidate objects such as input of kana and alphabet. Abstract
