Backflow to 2 can be prevented. Further, it is possible to prevent the hot water in the buffer tank 4 from flowing back to the cold water tank 2 during sterilization by hot water circulation described later. For this reason, it can prevent that the temperature of the cold water in the cold water tank 2 rises, and that various germs generate
- the lower part of the buffer tank 4 has a conical shape with a diameter reduced toward the lower side. For this reason, it is possible to prevent the drinking water from staying in the lower corner of the buffer tank 4 during sterilization by hot water circulation described later.
- the capacity of the buffer tank 4 is generally about 0.2 to 0.5 liter.
- the hot water tank 3 includes a buffer tank 4 through a hot water tank water supply pipe 20, a second three-way valve 17 through a second sterilization pipe 19, and a hot water pouring mechanism 9 through a hot water pouring pipe 27. - the bottle basket 6 is provided with a handle 36 so that the bottle basket 6 can be easily mounted on the mounting table 7 by grasping the handle 36.
- the raw water container 5 used in this embodiment is of a soft type made of a thin polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin or polyethylene (PE) resin. This type of raw water container 5 is relatively flexible and bends along with the drinking water to reduce its internal volume.
- the raw water container 5 is generally filled with 10 to 12 liters of drinking water when it is new.
- a soft type was adopted for the raw water container 5, but a hard type whose volume does not change even when drinking water is transferred, or a highly flexible resin film bag such as a cardboard box.
- a bag-in-box type housed in a box can also be employed.
- the air sterilization chamber 10 has a hollow case 39 in which an air intake 37 and an ozone outlet 38 are formed, and an ozone generator 40 that converts oxygen in the air into ozone in the case 39.
- the ozone outlet 38 communicates with the cold water tank 2 through the air introduction path 13.
- the generated ozone is sent to the gas phase portions of the cold water tank 2 and the buffer tank 4 to sterilize them, thereby increasing the sanitary level in the cold water tank 2 and the buffer tank 4.
- a low-pressure mercury lamp, a silent discharge device, or the like can be used.
- the energization to both the three-way valves 16 and 17 is canceled, and as shown in FIG.
- the second three-way valve 17 is secured with a flow path from the raw water container 5 toward the raw water pumping pipe 14.
- the normal flow path which can pour out cold water is constituted.
- the cold water extraction mechanism 8 is operated, cold water is extracted from the cold water extraction mechanism 8.
- the pump 23 is activated to transfer the drinking water from the raw water container 5 to the cold water tank 2. By this transfer, the water level in the cold water tank 2 is recovered.
- the water level in the buffer tank 4 is lowered, and the float valve 26 provided in the buffer tank water supply pipe 12 is opened along with the drop, and the float valve 26 is passed from the cold water tank 2 through the buffer tank water supply pipe 12.
- the buffer tank 4 is replenished with drinking water.
- the pump 23 is operated to transfer the drinking water from the raw water container 5 to the cold water tank 2. By this transfer, the water level in the cold water tank 2 is recovered.
- both the three-way valves 16 and 17 are energized to secure a flow path from the raw water pumping pipe 14 to the buffer tank 4 for the first three-way valve 16 as shown in FIG.
- a flow path from the hot water tank 3 to the raw water pumping pipe 14 is secured.
- the raw water pumping pipe 14-the first sterilizing pipe 18-the buffer tank 4-the hot water tank water supply pipe 20-the hot water tank 3-the second sterilizing pipe 19-the raw water pumping pipe 14 is a closed sterilization.
- a flow path is configured.
- sterilization in the sterilization channel can be performed by circulating hot water in the sterilization channel with the pump 23.
- the heater 30 is actuated as appropriate so that the warm water maintains a temperature higher than a predetermined value (for example, 85 ° C.) effective for sterilization. It is also permitted to stop the pump 23 as appropriate during this sterilization. This is because a sufficient sterilization effect is exhibited as long as hot water of a predetermined temperature or more stays in the sterilization channel.
- a predetermined value for example 85 ° C.
- the sterilization flow path configured as described above does not pass through the cold water tank 2. For this reason, the cold water in the cold water tank 2 is not warmed, and low temperature cold water can be provided to the user even during sterilization by hot water circulation.
- the cold water pouring mechanism 8 of this water server is shown in FIGS. In FIG. 8, in order to prevent the drawing from becoming complicated, some of the parts related to the cold water extraction mechanism 8 are omitted.
- the cold water pouring mechanism 8 includes a forceset main body 41 connected to the cold water pouring pipe 15, a valve body 42 made of an elastic material provided in a cold water flow path formed in the forceset main body 41, A force set stem 43 that opens and closes the valve body 42, a force set spring 44 that biases the force set stem 43 in the valve closing direction, and the force set stem 43 that opens against the biasing force of the force set spring 44 is opened.
- the valve body 42 comes into contact with the valve seat 51 formed in the flow path of the forceset body 41 by the biasing force of the forceset spring 44, The cold water is prevented from flowing out from the cold water outlet 52a.
- a constricted portion 54 having a smaller diameter than the diameter of the shaft portion 53 is formed on the shaft portion 53 of the forceset stem 43.
- the lock member 46 is formed with a through hole 55 through which the shaft portion 53 of the facet stem 43 is inserted.
- the through hole 55 includes a main hole 55a having a diameter larger than that of the shaft portion 53 and a sub-hole 55b having a diameter smaller than that of the shaft portion 53 and communicating with the main hole 55a.
- the constricted portion 54 is locked to the edge of the sub-hole 55b, and the shaft portion 53 cannot be moved in the axial direction. That is, the valve body 42 interlocked with the shaft portion 53 is opened. You can't do that. If the constricted portion 54 is engaged with the sub-hole 55b having a smaller diameter than the main hole 55a in this way, the engagement area of the constricted portion 54 by the sub-hole 55b is increased. For this reason, this narrow part 54 is latched firmly and can exhibit a reliable locking function. If this locking is ensured, the sub hole 55b is not an essential configuration, and the constricted portion 54 can be locked to the edge of the main hole 55a. It is also conceivable that the constricted portion 54 is locked to the edge of the lock member 46 without forming the through hole 55 in the lock member 46.
- the key member 50 is a U-shaped member in which two engagement end portions 57 a and 57 b protrude horizontally from the vicinity of the upper and lower ends of the base portion 56.
- a slide knob 58 that is pinched when the key member 50 is slid is formed at the lower end of the base portion 56.
- the key member 50 is slid by pinching the slide knob 58 while pressing the unlock button 49.
- the engagement end portions 57 a and 57 b of the key member 50 are brought into contact with the flange portion 59 formed on the lock release button 49 interlocked with the lock member 46 from a direction opposite to the direction of the urging force of the lock spring 47. (See FIG. 7).
- the lock member 46 is prevented from returning to the lock position again.
- the cold water can be discharged from the cold water outlet 52a only by the operation of the force lever 45 without pressing the unlock button 49 every time it is used and performing the unlocking operation. Can be dispensed. For this reason, the convenience for the user who does not require the locking mechanism such as a home without a small child is greatly increased.
- the slide knob 58 has a minimum length (several millimeters to several tens of millimeters) necessary for operation from a long hole formed in the decorative cover 60 on the front surface of the water server. ) Protruding downwards only. By suppressing the protruding amount to this level, a small child operates the slide knob 58 without permission or carelessly touches the slide knob 58 during the dispensing operation, so that the lock state is changed. Trouble can be prevented.
- the cold water pouring mechanism 8 has been described, but the hot water pouring mechanism 9 is also provided with the same lock release mechanism by the lock member 46 and the key member 50 to restrict the pouring from the hot water outlet 52b. Can do.
- the lock function of both the cold water and the hot water pouring mechanisms 8, 9 is activated (see FIG. 9 (a)).
- the lock function of either the cold water or hot water extraction mechanism 8 or 9 is released (see FIG. 9B), and the lock function of either the cold water or hot water extraction mechanism 8 or 9 is activated. (See FIG. 9 (c) in which the hot water side is locked). For this reason, this water server is easy to use and safe for all users.
- the engagement end portions 57a and 57b of the key member 50 are brought into contact with the flange portion 59 formed on the unlock button 49 so that the unlocked state is maintained.
- the key member 50 may be in direct contact with the forceset button 48 or the lock member 46 that is interlocked with 49.
- the shape of the key member 50 is not limited to the U-shape, and the shape can be appropriately changed as long as the function of holding the unlocked state is exhibited.
- the water server including the three tanks of the cold water tank 2, the hot water tank 3, and the buffer tank 4 has been described as an example.
- the lock release mechanism according to the present invention is, for example, a cold water tank. 2 and a hot water tank 3, and can be widely applied to other types of water servers such as a two-tank water server that does not have a buffer tank 4.
- the configuration in which the raw water container 5 is placed horizontally in the lower part of the water server has been described as an example.
- the way of placing the raw water container 5 is not limited to this, and the upper part of the water server is arranged. Even when the raw water container 5 is installed or the raw water container 5 is placed vertically, the unlocking mechanism according to the present invention can be widely applied.
