Abstract

本発明に係るボイラは、缶水が流れる給水系統(11)と、缶水にアンモニア溶液を添加するアンモニア添加設備(12)と、缶水のpHを測定するpH測定装置(14)と、制御装置(15)とを備えている。制御装置(15)は、缶水が加熱されるときに、缶水のpHが保管用pH範囲に含まれるように、アンモニア添加設備(12)を制御し、缶水が給水系統(11)を流れることが停止される前に、缶水のpHが保管用pH範囲に含まれるように、アンモニア添加設備(12)を制御する。このとき、保管用pH範囲に含まれる任意のpHは、運転用pH範囲に含まれる任意のpHより大きい。このようなボイラは、ヒドラジンを含有する保管用缶水を給水系統(11)に充填することに比較して、給水系統(11)が腐食することをより容易に防止することができる。

Description

ボイラ運転方法およびボイラ
 本発明は、ボイラ運転方法およびボイラに関し、特に、缶水が循環する給水系統を保管するときに利用されるボイラ運転方法およびボイラに関する。
 缶水が循環する給水系統で蒸気(水蒸気)を生成するものは、ボイラ・蒸気タービン発電設備、ガスタービン・(排熱回収ボイラ)蒸気タービン複合発電設備などがあるが、石炭ガス化複合発電設備(IGCC:Integrated coal Gasification Combined Cycle)は蒸気を生成する給水系統を多く保有する設備である。石炭ガス化複合発電設備は、石炭ガス化炉とガス冷却器とガスタービン設備と排熱回収ボイラと蒸気タービン設備と発電機とを備えている。石炭ガス化炉は、微粉炭をガス化することにより、可燃性を有する生成ガスを生成する。ガス冷却器は、生成ガスを冷却する。ガスタービン設備は、冷却された生成ガスを燃焼させることにより高温・高圧の燃焼ガスを生成し、回転動力を生成する。排熱回収ボイラは、ガスタービン設備の排ガスから熱エネルギーを回収し、高圧の蒸気を生成する。蒸気タービン設備は、蒸気を用いて回転動力を生成する。発電機は、ガスタービン設備と蒸気タービン設備とにより生成された回転動力を電力に変換する。
 ガス冷却器と排熱回収ボイラとは、缶水が循環する給水系統を備えている。缶水が給水系統を循環することにより、ガス冷却器は、石炭ガス化炉により生成された生成ガスを冷却し、排熱回収ボイラは、ガスタービン設備から排気された排ガスを冷却する。さらに、ガス冷却器と排熱回収ボイラとは、給水系統を循環することにより、缶水を加熱し、蒸気タービン設備に供給される蒸気を生成する。
 一方、定期点検などで石炭ガス化複合発電設備の運転が停止して、機器保管中となる期間が長い場合、給水系統の配管等を交換する必要があるときは缶水を排出して対応する。しかし、速やかに再起動するため缶水を排出しないで保管する場合において、給水系統の配管内部など金属製構成材が腐食することを防止することが望まれている。

 発電設備の運転が停止して、機器保管中で速やかに再起動するため缶水を排出しないで保管する期間には、給水系統は、ヒドラジンを含有する保管水が充填されることにより、配管内部などの腐食を低減することができる。しかしながら、ヒドラジンは、健康に悪影響を及ぼすことが知られ、取扱いに注意する必要がある(特許文献1、2、3参照)。給水系統の金属製部材の腐食をより容易により長期間に渡り低減することが望まれている。
 本発明の課題は、缶水が流れる給水系統が腐食することを容易に低減するボイラ運転方法およびボイラを提供することにある。
 本発明の第1の態様に係るボイラ運転方法は、ボイラの給水系統部分を用いて実行される。前記ボイラは、加熱される缶水が流れる給水系統と、前記缶水にpH調整用のアンモニアを添加するアンモニア添加設備とを備えている。本発明によるボイラ運転方法は、前記缶水のpHを測定すること、前記ボイラの運転に当たり、前記pHが運転用pH範囲に含まれているときに、前記缶水が加熱されるように前記缶水を前記給水系統に流すこと、前記ボイラの停止に当たり、前記pHが保管用pH範囲に含まれるまで前記缶水にアンモニアが添加されるように、前記ンモニア添加設備を制御すること、前記pHが前記保管用pH範囲に含まれているときに前記給水系統に前記缶水が流れることを停止させることを備えている。このとき、前記保管用pH範囲に含まれる任意のpHは、前記運転用pH範囲に含まれる任意のpHと等しいか、或いは前記任意のpHより大きい。
 このようなボイラ運転方法によれば、pHが保管用pH範囲に含まれる缶水が給水系統に充填されていることにより、pHが運転用pH範囲に含まれている缶水が給水系統に充填されていることに比較して、発電設備の運転が停止した機器保管中に給水系統が腐食することを、より長期間に渡り低減することができる。さらに、アンモニアは、一般的に、ヒドラジンに比較して、より容易に取り扱われることができる。このため、このようなボイラ運転方法は、ヒドラジンを含有する保管用缶水を給水系統に充填することに比較して、給水系統が腐食することをより容易に防止することができる。
 前記第1の態様に係るボイラ運転方法は、前記給水系統に前記缶水が流れることが停止された後で、前記ボイラの再起動運転に当たり、前記保管用pHが前記運転用pH範囲に含まれているときに、前記缶水が加熱されるように前記給水系統に前記缶水を流すことをさらに備えている。
 このようなボイラ運転方法によれば、保管用缶水のpHが運転用pH範囲に含まれるので、保管用缶水をそのまま運転用缶水として使用することにより、ボイラをより容易に短時間で再起動することができる。
 前記第1の態様に係るボイラ運転方法は、複数の保管期間を複数の保管用pH範囲に対応付けるテーブルを参照して、前記給水系統に前記缶水を流さない発電設備停止期間に対応する前記保管用pH範囲を前記複数の保管用pH範囲から導くことをさらに備えている。このとき、前記複数の保管用pH範囲のうちの第1期間に対応する第1保管用pH範囲の下限は、前記複数の保管用pH範囲のうちの前記第1期間より長い第2期間に対応する第2保管用pH範囲の下限より大きい。
 このようなボイラ運転方法によれば、前記缶水に適量のアンモニアを添加することができ、機器保管中に給水系統の腐食をより適切に低減することができる。
 本発明の第2の態様に係るボイラは、加熱される缶水が流れる給水系統と、前記缶水にアンモニアを添加するアンモニア添加設備と、前記缶水のpHを測定するpH測定装置と、アンモニア添加設備の制御をする制御装置とを備えている。前記ボイラの運転に当たり、前記制御装置は、前記缶水が加熱されるように前記缶水が前記給水系統を流れるときに、前記pHが運転用pH範囲に含まれるように、前記アンモニア添加設備を制御する通常制御回路と、前記ボイラの停止に当たり、前記缶水が前記給水系統を流れることが停止される前に、前記pHが保管用pH範囲に含まれるように、前記アンモニア添加設備を制御する保管用制御回路とを備えている。このとき、前記保管用pH範囲に含まれる任意のpHは、前記運転用pH範囲に含まれる任意のpHと等しいか、或いは前記任意のpHより大きい。
 このようなボイラは、pHが保管用pH範囲に含まれる缶水が給水系統に充填されていることにより、pHが運転用pH範囲に含まれている缶水が給水系統に充填されていることに比較して、給水系統が腐食することを低減することができる。さらに、アンモニアは、一般的に、ヒドラジンに比較して、より容易に取り扱われることができる。このため、このようなボイラは、ヒドラジンを含有する保管用缶水を給水系統に充填することに比較して、機器保管中に給水系統が腐食することをより容易に抑制することができる。
 本発明の第3の態様に係るガス冷却器は、固体炭素質燃料を酸化剤によりガス化することにより生成される生成ガスが流れる流路と給水が流れる流路(缶水循環系統)を備えている。このとき、前記給水系統は、前記生成ガスの熱を用いて前記缶水を加熱する。
 このようなガス冷却器は、発電設備停止時の機器保管中に給水系統が腐食することをより容易に抑制することができる。
 本発明の第4の態様に係る排熱回収ボイラは、ガスタービンから排気された排ガスが流れる流路と給水が流れる流路(缶水循環系統)を備え、前記給水系統は、前記排ガスの熱を用いて前記缶水を加熱する。
 このような排熱回収ボイラは、発電設備停止時の機器保管中に、給水系統が腐食することをより容易に防止することができる。
 本発明の第5の態様に係る石炭ガス化複合発電設備は、本発明による排熱回収ボイラと、固体炭素質燃料をガス化することにより生成ガスを生成するガス化炉と、前記生成ガスを用いて動力を生成することにより排ガスを排気するガスタービンと、蒸気を用いて動力を生成する蒸気タービンとを備えている。このとき、前記蒸気は、前記給水系統が前記生成ガスの熱と前記排ガスの熱とを用いて前記缶水を加熱することにより生成される。
 このような石炭ガス化複合発電設備は、発電設備停止時の機器保管中に、給水系統が腐食することをより容易に抑制することができる。
 本発明によるボイラ運転方法およびボイラは、運転時に循環する缶水のpHより大きいpHの缶水を給水系統に充填することにより、機器保管中に給水系統が腐食することを容易に低減することができる。

 図面を参照して、本発明に係るボイラの実施の形態が以下に記載される。そのボイラの給水系統部分は、図1に示されているように、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10に利用される。石炭ガス化複合発電設備10は、ガス化炉1とガス冷却器2とガスタービン3と排熱回収ボイラ5と蒸気タービン6と発電機7と復水器8とを備えている。ガス化炉1は、外部の設備から供給される固体炭素質燃料としての石炭を破砕した微粉炭と酸化剤としての空気(または酸素)とから、可燃性を有する高温の生成ガスを生成する。ガス冷却器2は、ガス化炉1により生成された高温の生成ガスから冷却後生成ガスを生成する。この高温の生成ガスを冷却する熱交換により、ガス冷却器2は、復水器8により生成された缶水から高温高圧の蒸気を生成する。
 ガスタービン3は、ガス冷却器2により生成された冷却後生成ガスを用いて、回転動力を生成し、高温の排ガスを排気する。排熱回収ボイラ5は、ガスタービン3から排気された高温の排ガスを冷却する熱交換により、復水器8により生成された缶水から高温高圧の蒸気を生成する。蒸気タービン6は、ガス冷却器2により生成された蒸気と排熱回収ボイラ5により生成された蒸気とを用いて回転動力を生成し、排蒸気を排気する。発電機7は、ガスタービン3により生成された回転動力と蒸気タービン6により生成された回転動力とを用いて発電する。復水器8は、蒸気タービン6により排気された排蒸気から水を生成し缶水とする。
 図2は、ガス冷却器2の給水(循環)系統部分を示している。ガス冷却器2は、給水(循環)系統11とアンモニア添加設備12とpH測定装置14と制御装置15とを備え、生成ガス流路aを備えている。生成ガス流路aは、ガス化炉1により生成された生成ガスが流れる。給水系統11は、蒸気ドラム16と複数の降水管17と管寄せ18と複数の伝熱管19とを備えている。蒸気ドラム16は、鋼鉄系材料(以下、鋼鉄と記載する)から形成され、容器に形成されている。蒸気ドラム16は、復水器8により生成された缶水が蒸気ドラム16の内部に供給されるように、復水器8から管路30を介して接続されている。蒸気ドラム16は、蒸気ドラム16の内部で発生された蒸気が蒸気タービン6に供給されるように、蒸気タービン6に管路31を介して接続されている。蒸気ドラム16は、さらに、蒸気ドラム16の内部に貯留された缶水が複数の降水管17に供給されるように、複数の降水管17に接続されている。
 複数の降水管17は、それぞれ、鋼鉄から形成され、蒸気ドラム16から供給される缶水が流れる流路を形成している。複数の降水管17は、それぞれ、缶水が管寄せ18に供給されるように、管寄せ18に接続されている。管寄せ18は、鋼鉄から形成され、複数の降水管17から供給される缶水を合流されるヘダーに形成されている。管寄せ18は、さらに、缶水が複数の伝熱管19に供給されるように、複数の伝熱管19に接続されている。
 複数の伝熱管19は、鋼鉄から形成され、管寄せ18から供給される缶水が流れる流路を形成している。複数の伝熱管19は、ガス化炉1により生成される生成ガスの熱により加熱されるように、生成ガス流路aに配置されている。複数の伝熱管19は、さらに、管寄せ18から供給される缶水が蒸気ドラム16に供給されるように、蒸気ドラム16に接続されている。
 アンモニア添加設備12は、制御装置15に情報伝達可能に電気的に接続され、アンモニア溶液を貯留している。アンモニア添加設備12は、制御装置15に制御されることにより、復水器8から蒸気ドラム16に供給される缶水にアンモニア溶液が添加されるように、管路30にアンモニア溶液を供給する。
 pH測定装置14は、制御装置15に情報伝達可能に電気的に接続されている。pH測定装置14は、制御装置15に制御されることにより、所定の時間ごとに、または連続して蒸気ドラム16に貯留されている缶水のpHを測定する。
 制御装置15は、コンピュータであり、図示されていないCPUと記憶装置とメモリドライブと通信装置とインターフェースとを備えている。
 インターフェースは、制御装置15に接続される外部機器により生成される情報をCPUに出力し、CPUにより生成された情報を外部機器に出力する。外部機器は、アンモニア添加設備12とpH測定装置14とを含んでいる。
 制御装置15にインストールされるコンピュータプログラムは、図3に示されているように、制御装置15に複数の機能をそれぞれ実現させるための複数のコンピュータプログラムから形成されている。複数の機能は、通常制御回路21と保管用制御回路22とを含んでいる。
 pH測定装置14は、ガス化炉1とガス冷却器2が運転中に、少なくとも1回の蒸気ドラム16に貯留される缶水のpHを測定する。通常制御回路21は、運転用pH範囲を記憶装置に予め記録している。運転用pH範囲の設定値は、たとえば、9.7を示している。通常制御回路21は、さらに、蒸気ドラム16に貯留される缶水のpHが運転用pH範囲に含まれるように、アンモニア添加設備12を制御する。すなわち、通常制御回路21は、その缶水のpHが運転用pH範囲の設定値より小さいときに、アンモニア溶液が管路30に供給されるように、アンモニア添加設備12を制御する。通常制御回路21は、その缶水のpHが運転用pH範囲の設定値と等しい、或いは設定値より大きいときに、アンモニア溶液が管路30に供給されないように、アンモニア添加設備12を制御する。

 複数の降水管は、それぞれ、鋼鉄から形成され、蒸気ドラムから供給される缶水が流れる流路を形成している。複数の降水管は、それぞれ、缶水が管寄せに供給されるように、管寄せに接続されている。管寄せは、鋼鉄から形成され、複数の降水管から供給される缶水を貯留する容器に形成されている。管寄せは、さらに、缶水が複数の伝熱管に供給されるように、複数の伝熱管に接続されている。
 複数の伝熱管は、鋼鉄から形成され、管寄せから供給される缶水が流れる流路を形成している。複数の伝熱管は、ガスタービン3から排気される排ガスの熱により加熱されるように、排ガスが流れる流路に配置されている。複数の伝熱管は、さらに、管寄せから供給される缶水が蒸気ドラムに供給されるように、蒸気ドラムに接続されている。
 本発明に係るボイラ運転方法の実施の形態は、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10を用いて実行され、通常運転と保管用運転と再起動運転とを備えている。
 通常運転では、ガス化炉1は、外部の設備から供給される空気(または酸素)を用いて、外部の設備から供給される固体炭素質燃料としての石炭を破砕し燃焼させることにより、可燃性を有する高温の生成ガスを生成する。ガス冷却器2は、復水器8により生成された缶水を用いて、ガス化炉1により生成された高温の生成ガスを冷却するよう熱交換することにより、冷却後生成ガスを生成する。この際に、ガス冷却器2は、ガス化炉1により生成された高温の生成ガスの熱を用いて、缶水を加熱するよう熱交換することにより、高温高圧の蒸気を生成する。
 ガスタービン3は、ガス冷却器2により生成された冷却後生成ガスを燃焼することにより、高温高圧の排ガスを生成する。ガスタービン3は、さらに、排ガスの運動エネルギー用いて回転動力を生成し、排ガスを排気する。排熱回収ボイラ5は、復水器8により生成された缶水を用いて、ガスタービン3から排気された高温の排ガスを冷却するよう熱交換することにより、冷却後排ガスを生成する。この際に、排熱回収ボイラ5は、ガスタービン3から排気された高温の排ガスの熱を用いて、復水器8により生成された缶水を加熱するよう熱交換することにより高温高圧の蒸気を生成する。
 蒸気タービン6は、ガス冷却器2により生成された高温高圧の蒸気の運動エネルギーと排熱回収ボイラ5により生成された高温高圧の蒸気の運動エネルギーとを用いて回転動力を生成し、排蒸気を排気する。発電機7は、ガスタービン3により生成された回転動力と蒸気タービン6により生成された回転動力とを用いて発電する。復水器8は、蒸気タービン6により排気された排蒸気を冷却するよう熱交換することにより水を生成して缶水とし、管路30を介して缶水をガス冷却器2と排熱回収ボイラ5とに供給する。
 このとき、pH測定装置14は、ガス冷却器2の蒸気ドラム16に貯留される缶水のpHを測定する。pH測定装置14は、測定されたpHを制御装置15に送信する。制御装置15は、運転用pH範囲の設定値と測定されたpHが等しいとき、或いは設定値より測定されたpHが大きいときに、アンモニア添加設備12を制御することにより、復水器8から蒸気ドラム16に供給される缶水にアンモニア溶液の添加を停止する。制御装置15は、予め設定された運転用pH範囲の設定値より測定されたpHが小さいときに、アンモニア添加設備12を制御することにより、復水器8から蒸気ドラム16に供給される缶水にアンモニア溶液を添加する。
 ガス冷却器2は、管路30を介して復水器8から供給される缶水を給水系統11に循環させ、缶水から蒸気を生成する。すなわち、複数の降水管17は、蒸気ドラム16に貯留される缶水を管寄せ18に供給する。管寄せ18は、複数の降水管17から供給される缶水を合流する。複数の伝熱管19は、ガス化炉1により生成される高温の生成ガスの熱を用いて、加熱管寄せ18で合流されている缶水を加熱するよう熱交換し、加熱された缶水を蒸気ドラム16に供給する。蒸気ドラム16は、管路30を介して復水器8から供給された缶水と複数の伝熱管19により加熱された缶水とを貯留する。蒸気ドラム16は、さらに、貯留し加熱された缶水を気液分離し、気液分離された蒸気を蒸気タービン6に供給する。
 保管用運転は、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10が定期保守点検などで停止する直前に、実行される。制御装置15は、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10が停止する直前に、まず、pH測定装置14により、蒸気ドラム16に貯留される缶水のpHを測定する。制御装置15は、測定されたpHが保管用pH範囲の下限より小さいときに、アンモニア添加設備12を制御することにより、アンモニア溶液を管路30に供給する。制御装置15は、測定されたpHが保管用pH範囲の下限と等しい、或いは下限より大きくなったときに、アンモニア添加設備12を制御することにより、管路30へのアンモニア溶液の供給を停止する。
 石炭ガス化複合発電設備10は、測定されたpHが保管用pH範囲の下限と等しい、或いは下限より大きいことを確認して、運転が停止される。給水系統11は、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10の運転が停止されることにより、缶水の循環が停止する。給水系統11は、さらに、缶水の循環が停止した後に、窒素が加圧注入されることにより、給水系統11のうちの気体が充填されている空間から酸素を排気し、加圧された窒素がその空間に充填される。
 図5にpHと腐食との関係を示すグラフで示す。密閉容器で、酸素飽和(25℃、8mg/l)、室温の試験状態で、異なるpHのアンモニア溶液に試験片を浸漬させた試験結果より、表面性状から腐食有無を判断し、腐食面積を全体面積に占める割合で示したものである。鋼鉄は、アンモニア溶液に浸漬されたときに、アンモニア溶液のpHが高いほど、腐食する速度が低減し、より長期間に渡り鋼鉄の腐食を抑制できる。このため、このような保管用運転によれば、給水系統11は、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10の停止した機器保管中に、保管用pH範囲に含まれるpHの缶水が充填されていることにより、運転用pH範囲に含まれるpHの缶水が充填されていることに比較して、腐食することをより低減することができる。その結果、このような保管用運転によれば、給水系統11は、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10の停止した機器保管中に、腐食しないように保管されることができる。
 再起動運転は、保管用運転が実行された後で、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10が所定の期間停止した後に、実行される。再起動運転では、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10は、従来の機器保管中にヒドラジンを含有する保管水を充填した後の再起動運転開始時と異なり、給水系統11から缶水を抜き出し、再度、通常運転時の水質を満足する缶水を供給することなしに、運転が再開され、通常運転が実行される。
 このような再起動運転によれば、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10は、pHが保管用pH範囲に含まれる缶水をpHが運転用pH範囲に含まれる缶水に取り替えないことにより、再起動に要する時間を短縮できることにより、従来の再起動運転より、短時間に再起動することができる。
 ボイラ運転方法の比較例は、従来の機器保管方法の実施形態として、既述の実施の形態におけるボイラ運転方法と同様にして、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10を用いて実行され、既述の実施の形態における保管用運転が他の保管用運転に置換され、既述の実施の形態における再起動運転が他の再起動運転に置換されている。
 保管用運転では、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10が停止した後に、図4に示されるように、給水系統11から缶水が抜き出される(ステップS1)。給水系統11は、缶水が抜き出された後に、保管用水が充填される。保管用水は、ヒドラジンを50mg/L含有している。給水系統11は、保管用水が充填された後に、窒素が加圧注入されることにより、給水系統11のうちの気体が充填されている空間から酸素を含む空気を排気し、加圧された窒素がその空間に充填される(ステップS2)。
 このような保管用運転によれば、給水系統11は、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10の停止中に、ヒドラジンを50mg/L含有している保管用水が充填されていることにより、長期間に渡り給水系統11を構成する鋼鉄が腐食することを抑制できる。
 再起動運転では、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10を再起動させる前に、給水系統11から通常運転に適するヒドラジンより濃度が高いヒドラジンを含有している保管用水が抜き出される(ステップS3)。給水系統11は、保管用水が抜き出された後に、缶水が充填される(ステップS4)。缶水は、ヒドラジンを含有しない水から形成される。石炭ガス化複合発電設備10は、給水系統11に缶水が充填された後に、運転が再開され、通常運転が実行される。
 このような、従来の実施の形態における再起動運転によれば、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10は、通常運転で、ヒドラジンを含有しない缶水が給水系統11を循環することにより、適切に運転されることができる。
 一方、アンモニアは、一般的に、ヒドラジンに比較して、入手が容易であるので、より容易に取り扱われることができる。
 さらに、既述の実施の形態における機器保管後の再起動運転は、給水系統11を保管する前に給水系統11から缶水を抜き出さない、すなわち、アンモニア溶液を注入し保管用pH範囲に含まれるpHの缶水を抜出さずに運転を再起動することにより、比較例の機器保管後の再起動運転に比較して、より短時間に且つ缶水を捨てずにすむことにより低コストに実行されることができる。既述の実施の形態における再起動運転は、機器保管時に給水系統11に充填されていた缶水を抜き出さないことにより、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10を停止して機器保管を開始するために、給水系統11から缶水が抜き出した後に、給水系統11にはヒドラジンを含有する保管用水が充填する工程を省くことができ、さらに再起動するために、給水系統11からヒドラジンを含有している保管用水が抜き出された後に、缶水が充填される工程を省くことができる。比較例の再起動運転に比較して、より短時間に実行されることができる。このため、既述の実施の形態におけるボイラ運転方法によれば、比較例のボイラ運転方法に比較して、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10は、より短時間に停止することができ、より短時間に再起動することができる。
 なお、制御装置15により実行される動作は、ユーザにより実行されることができる。すなわち、ユーザは、pH測定装置14を制御することにより、ガス冷却器2の蒸気ドラム16に貯留される缶水のpHを測定する。アンモニア添加設備12を操作することにより、管路30にアンモニア溶液を添加したりアンモニア溶液の添加を停止したりする。この場合も、石炭ガス化複合発電設備10は、既述の実施の形態におけるボイラ運転方法と同様にして、腐食することをより容易に防止することができ、より短時間に停止することができ、より短時間に再起動することができる。すなわち、ガス冷却器2、排熱回収ボイラは、ボイラを備えているので、上述した効果を奏することができる。そのボイラは、加熱される缶水が流れる給水系統と、前記缶水にアンモニアを添加するアンモニア添加設備と、前記缶水のpHを測定するpH測定装置と、を備えている。
 本発明に係るボイラの実施の他の形態は、既述の実施の形態における保管用制御回路22が他の保管用制御回路に置換されている。保管用制御回路は、複数の保管期間に対応する複数の保管用pH範囲を予め記憶装置に記録している。複数の保管用pH範囲は、それぞれ、下限が運転用pH範囲の設定値と等しい、或いは設定値より大きい。たとえば、図5に示す試験結果によれば、24時間以内の期間に対応する保管用pH範囲の下限は、9.5を示している。72時間以内の期間に対応する保管用pH範囲の下限は、9.7を示している。4日間から7日間に含まれる期間に対応する保管用pH範囲の下限は、9.8を示している。7日間から14日間に含まれる期間に対応する保管用pH範囲の下限は、9.9を示している。15日間から30日間に含まれる期間に対応する保管用pH範囲の下限は、10を示している。保管期間が長くなるに従い対応する保管用pH範囲の下限の保管用pHの下限は、大きくなる。
 また、例えば、高温、強アルカリ性(pH11以上)環境では、通常アルカリに強い鋼鉄でもアルカリ腐食となる可能性があるため、保管用pHの上限はpH11未満が好ましい。しかし、これに限定するものではない。
 保管用運転部は、ユーザから制御装置15に保管期間が入力されたときに、複数の保管用pH範囲から保管期間に対応する保管用pH範囲を算出する。保管用運転部は、蒸気ドラム16に貯留される缶水のpHが測定されるように、pH測定装置14を制御する。保管用制御回路は、さらに、蒸気ドラム16に貯留される缶水のpHが保管用pH範囲に含まれるように、アンモニア添加設備12を制御する。また、保管期間に対応する保管用pH範囲を算出し、アンモニア添加設備12を制御することに限らず、マニュアル操作により、アンモニア添加設備12を運転してもよい。
 このような保管用制御回路を備える石炭ガス化複合発電設備は、既述の実施の形態における石炭ガス化複合発電設備10と同様にして、給水系統11が腐食することをより容易に抑制することができ、より短時間に停止することができ、より短時間に再起動することができる。
 図5は、保管水のpHと腐食との関係を示している。その関係は、鋼鉄から形成される供試材が浸漬される保管水のpHを示し、供試材が保管水に浸漬される経過日数に対する腐食面積を示している。腐食面積は、供試材が保管水に接触している表面の面積に対する、表面のうちの経過日数で腐食している領域の面積の表面の割合を示している。また、その関係は、時間とともに腐食が進行することを示している。その関係は、さらに、保管水のpHが大きいほど、供試材が腐食し始める時期が遅くなることを示している。このため、その関係は、保管中の給水系統11に充填されている缶水のpHが大きいほど、腐食をより長期間防止することができることを示している。
 このため、このような保管用制御回路を備える石炭ガス化複合発電設備は、停止する保管期間が長いほど保管用pH範囲の下限を大きくすることにより、給水系統11の保管に利用されるアンモニアの添加量を低減することができ、給水系統11が腐食することを適切に防止することができる。
 なお、保管用pH範囲は、下限が9.5を示す他の保管用pH範囲に置換されることもできる。保管用pH範囲の下限は、運転用pH範囲の設定値に等しく、または、運転用pH範囲の設定値より大きい。

Claims (8)

  1.  缶水が流れる給水系統と、
     前記缶水にアンモニア溶液を添加するアンモニア添加設備と、を備えるボイラを用いて実行されるボイラ運転方法であり、
     前記缶水のpHを測定すること、
     前記ボイラの運転に当たり、前記pHが運転用pH範囲に含まれているときに、前記缶水が加熱されるように前記缶水を前記給水系統に流すこと、
     前記ボイラの停止に当たり、前記pHが保管用pH範囲に含まれるまで前記缶水にアンモニア溶液が添加されるように、前記アンモニア添加設備を制御すること、
     前記pHが前記保管用pH範囲に含まれているときに前記給水系統に前記缶水が流れるのを停止させることを備え、
     前記保管用pH範囲に含まれる任意のpHは、前記運転用pH範囲に含まれる任意のpHと等しい/または前記任意のpHより大きいボイラ運転方法。
  2.  前記給水系統に前記缶水が流れるのを停止させた後で、前記ボイラの再起動運転に当たり、前記pHが前記運転用pH範囲に含まれているときに、前記缶水が加熱されるように前記給水系統に前記缶水を流すことをさらに備える請求項1に記載されるボイラ運転方法。
  3.  複数の保管期間を複数の保管用pH範囲に対応付けるテーブルを参照して、前記給水系統に前記缶水を流さない発電設備停止期間に対応する前記保管用pH範囲を前記複数の保管用pH範囲から導くことをさらに備え、
     前記複数の保管用pH範囲のうちの第1期間に対応する第1保管用pH範囲の下限は、前記複数の保管用pH範囲のうちの前記第1期間より長い第2期間に対応する第2保管用pH範囲の下限より大きい請求項1または請求項2に記載されるボイラ運転方法。
  4.  前記第1保管用pH範囲の下限、および第2保管用pH範囲の下限は、9.5から10の範囲の数値である請求項3に記載されるボイラ運転方法。
  5.  缶水が流れる給水系統と、
     前記缶水にアンモニア溶液を添加するアンモニア添加設備と、
     前記缶水のpHを測定するpH測定装置と、
     制御装置と、を備えるボイラであって、
     前記ボイラの運転に当たり、前記制御装置は、
     前記缶水が加熱されるように前記缶水が前記給水系統を流れるときに、前記pHが保管用pH範囲に含まれるように、前記アンモニア添加装置を制御する通常制御回路と、
     前記ボイラの停止に当たり、前記缶水が前記給水系統を流れることが停止される前に、前記pHが保管用pH範囲に含まれるように、前記アンモニア添加設備を制御する保管用制御回路と、を備え、
     前記保管用pH範囲に含まれる任意のpHは、前記運転用pH範囲に含まれる任意のpHと等しい/または前記任意のpHより大きいボイラ。
  6.  請求項5に記載されるボイラと、
     炭素含有固体燃料をガス化することにより生成される生成ガスが流れる流路と、を備え、
     前記給水系統は、前記生成ガスの熱を用いて前記缶水を加熱するガス冷却器。
  7.  請求項5に記載されるボイラと、
     ガスタービンから排気された排ガスが流れる流路と、を備え、
     前記給水系統は、前記排ガスの熱を用いて前記缶水を加熱する排熱回収ボイラ。
  8.  請求項5に記載されるボイラと、
     炭素含有固体燃料をガス化することにより生成ガスを生成するガス化炉と、
     前記生成ガスを用いて動力を生成することにより排ガスを排気するガスタービンと、
     蒸気を用いて動力を生成する蒸気タービンと、を備え、
     前記蒸気は、前記給水系統が前記生成ガスの熱と前記排ガスの熱とを用いて前記缶水を加熱することにより生成される石炭ガス化複合発電設備。
