Definitions
- the present invention relates to a turbine rotor having an unbalanced correction portion provided in the circumferential direction of the wheel on the rear surface of a turbine wheel, and a turbo charge in which the turbine rotor is incorporated.
- a turbine manufactured by precision casting titanium aluminum It is an invention regarding the turbine rotor by which the unbalance correction part was provided in the back side of a wheel.
- FIG. 1 is a partial front view of a radial turbine rotor, comprising a turbine rotor shaft 7 and a turbine wheel 5, wherein the turbine wheel 5 has a frustoconical hub 50 on the wheel rotation axis CC and the outer periphery of the hub 50.
- a plurality of impellers (blades) 40 are installed at substantially equal intervals in the circumferential direction. Also, between the adjacent impellers 40, the web-like scallops 30 are cut out. The scallop 30 is formed between the suction surface of the impeller 40 and the pressure surface of the impeller 40 adjacent thereto.
- the minimum radius from the wheel rotation axis CC to the inner edge of the scallop 30 is located approximately at the center between the two impellers 40, 40. Therefore, these scallops 30 are symmetrical about the minimum radius portion.
- the scallops 30 serve to reduce the centrifugal stress and the moment of inertia of the turbine wheel 5.
- the turbine wheel 5 is fixedly provided with a rotor shaft 7 extending along the rotation axis CC on the back side thereof.
- An intermediate shaft portion 20 having a diameter larger than that of the rotor shaft 7 is integrally attached to the tip end side of the rotor shaft 7, and the rotor wheel is fixed to the rotor shaft 7 via the intermediate shaft portion 20.
- Non-Patent Document 1 is known.
- the turbine wheel 5 used for such an automotive turbocharger is precision casting, even if it is casting, as shown in FIG. 1, it is circumferentially centered around the rotation axis (c) like machining. It is not possible to work while maintaining rotational balance, so conventionally, using a cutting tool such as an end mill on the hub back side of the turbine wheel 5 after the precision casting, a circle along the circumferential direction of the wheel The balance cut portion 11 is formed by cutting into an arc shape, or the boss portion on the tip end side of the hub 50 is cut 12 to correct the rotational unbalance.
- the arc-shaped balance cut portion 11 formed on the rear surface side of the wheel is preferable in correcting the rotational balance as it approaches the scallop edge side outside the intermediate shaft portion 20 on the rotational axis side, but TiAl forming the wheel Is a fragile material, so if the balance cut 11 is performed closer to the scallope edge side, the cutting pressing force of the end mill or the like which is a cutting tool propagates to the scallop portion 30 of the impeller and cracks or cracks occur in the scallop portion 30. It becomes easy to occur. If the wheel is operated at a high speed while the scallop portion 30 has a crack, the crack or the crack may spread on the brittle material wheel and the turbine wheel 5 may be broken during the operation.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a technique for correcting the rotational balance using a laser without using the cutting tool. However, such a technology does not process the turbine wheel 5 itself, but cuts and automatically aligns the impeller nut for fastening and fixing the impeller 40.
- the compressor wheel side in which the rotor shaft and the impeller are separated can only be applied to the technology for correcting the rotational balance of Moreover, in the above-mentioned prior art, "the impeller nut is rotated in the front direction by the laser LS whose irradiation position is fixed at one point while rotating the impeller nut so that the amplitude of vibration generated in the impeller exceeds the primary resonance point where "Because the machine continues to cut from the center and automatically aligns", the balance correction becomes complicated, and there is a problem that the definition position of the balance correction part can not be determined unless the impeller nut is rotated. It is. Further, since the above-mentioned technology is intended to correct the rotational balance by grinding the front surface side of the impeller nut with a laser, it basically differs from the present invention in which the balance cut portion 11 is provided on the rear surface side of the turbine wheel 5.

- the outer peripheral side (balance cut maximum diameter BCmax) of the circumferential region is smaller than the scallop diameter S
- the rotor shaft 7 generally has an intermediate shaft portion 20 having a diameter larger than that of the rotor shaft integrally attached to the tip end thereof, and the turbine wheel 5 is brazed or joined via the intermediate shaft portion.

- the minimum diameter BCmin of the arc-shaped balance cut is made larger than the maximum diameter JKmax of the intermediate shaft diameter of the rotor shaft (BCmin> JKmax).
- the margin ⁇ of JKma + ⁇ x requires a gap width for removing chips generated by the side blade because the side of the end mill is a blade.
- the gap width should be 2 mm
- BCmax must be located on the hub side, and (2) it is premised that it is smaller than the scallop diameter S of the turbine wheel 5, but additionally, the radial width w of the balance cut is It was found from the experimental results that by setting 1.75 t W W with respect to the plate thickness t up to the hub surface, it is possible to reduce the cracking of the turbine wheel 5 at the time of balance cut machining.

- the end mill which is the cutting tool has the axial blade as described above, and the "lower surface" is the blade portion. In order to receive the pressing force of the end mill, as the plate thickness from the rear face of the wheel to the surface of the hub becomes thinner, cracking of the turbine wheel 5 due to the pressing force is more likely to occur.
- the circumferential region forming 11 may be a circular arc region concentric with the rotation axis.
- the cut depth Dp at the position of the balance cut maximum diameter BCmax is It is preferable to set the balance cut portion 11 so as to be “Dp”.
- the balance cut can be made deeper as long as no cracks occur in the balance cut, and even if the width of the balance cut is reduced, the amount of balance cut does not decrease. It is possible to correct rotational unbalance.
- the present invention preferably further comprises the balance cut maximum diameter BCmax and the thickness t from the rear surface of the wheel to the hub surface.
- the area is set to a position where the radial width of the circumferential area of the balance cut 0.5 0.57 w, more preferably, An arc-shaped hub surface of the impeller 40;
- the R portion of a scallop formed in an arc shape toward the hub surface from the rear surface side of the turbine wheel 5 and the thickness of the scallop portion 30 at the connection point position between the R portion and the hub surface is a cut depth Dp It should be 1.8 times or more.
- R of the scallop part 30 By making R of the scallop part 30 large by this composition, hub board thickness in a balance cut position can be thickened, and a risk of a crack can be reduced.
- the present invention is effectively applied to a turbine rotor in which the balance cut portion 11 is formed by machining including end milling. That is, end milling is more accurate than laser processing or ultrasonic processing and is effective for mass production.
- the turbine rotor according to the present invention is formed by overlaying TiAl on the blade root portion on the rear surface of the wheel together with the balance correction portion and the balance cut. Abstract
Description
カット深さDp は0.5mm単位では1.5mm(12個)、2.0mm(18個)、2.5mm(5個)3.0mm(4個)であり、一方板厚tは1.7mm~6.2mmの範囲であった。
