Description
Claims (18)
- 양극, 음극, 및 상기 양극 및 음극 사이에 개재된 분리막을 포함하는 구조의 전극조립체가 전지케이스에 내장되어 있는 전지셀로서,상기 전극조립체는, 전극단자의 위치를 기준으로 한 수직 단면 형상에서, 일부에 단면 폭이 비연속적 또는 연속적으로 감소하는 변형부가 외주면의 적어도 일부에 형성되어 있고;상기 전지케이스는 금속 판재로 이루어져 있고, 전극조립체가 내장된 상태에서 상호 결합하는 둘 이상의 케이스 부재들을 포함하고 있으며, 상기 케이스 부재들 중의 적어도 하나에는 전극조립체의 변형부에 대응하는 내면 형상을 가진 수납부가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전극조립체는 권취형 구조, 스택형 구조, 스택&폴딩(stack&folding)형 구조, 또는 라미네이션&스택(lamination&stack)형 구조로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전극조립체는 양극 단자와 음극 단자가 일측 단부에 함께 형성되어 있는 구조, 또는 양극 단자가 일측에 형성되어 있고 음극 단자가 대향측에 형성되어 있는 구조로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전극조립체는 전극단자의 위치를 기준으로 한 평면 형상이 원형, 타원형 또는 다각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 전극조립체는 전극단자의 위치를 기준으로 한 평면 형상이 전체적으로 사각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전극조립체의 변형부는 전극조립체의 두께를 기준으로 10 내지 90% 크기 범위에서 단면 폭이 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전극조립체의 변형부는 단면의 폭이 비연속적으로 감소하는 단차 구조로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전극조립체는 전체적으로 판상형의 육면체 구조로 이루어져 있고, 상기 변형부는 전극조립체의 대향하는 양면 중의 일측 면 또는 양측 면들에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지케이스는, 전극조립체의 수납부가 형성되어 있고 일측이 개방되어 있는 제 1 케이스 부재와, 상기 제 1 케이스 부재의 개방 부위에 결합되어 수납부를 밀봉하는 제 2 케이스 부재로 이루어져 있으며, 상기 제 2 케이스 부재는 상기 제 1 케이스 부재의 개방 부위에 대응하는 형상의 평판형 부재로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 케이스 부재와 제 2 케이스 부재는 용접에 의해 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 케이스 부재 또는 제 2 케이스 부재는 전해액을 주입하기 위한 전해액 주입구를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지케이스는 알루미늄 또는 알루미늄 합금으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지케이스는 0.1 내지 1 mm의 두께를 가진 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전극조립체의 변형부에 대응하는 전지케이스의 수납부는 드로잉 또는 단조에 의해 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 전지셀은 리튬 이차전지인 것을 특징으로 하는 전지셀.
- 제 1 항에 따른 전지셀이 팩 케이스에 장착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전지팩.
- 제 1 항의 전지셀 또는 제 16 항의 전지팩을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디바이스.
- 제 17 항에 있어서, 상기 디바이스는 노트북, 휴대폰, PDP, PMP, MP3 플레이어, DSC(Digital Still Camera), DVR, 스마트 폰, GPS 시스템, 및 캠코더, 전기자동차, 하이브리드 전기자동차, 플러그인 하이브리드 전기자동차, 또는 전력저장 장치로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디바이스.
