本発明のイミド化合物は低薬量で殺虫剤として優れた防除効果を示し、また、他の殺虫剤、殺ダニ剤、殺線虫剤、殺菌剤、除草剤、植物成長調節剤、生物農薬などと組み合わせて使用することによっても優れた防除効果を示すものである。
Q1は置換されていてもよいフェニル基、置換されていてもよいナフチル基、又は置換されていてもよい複素環基を示す。Q2は1つ以上の置換基を有するフェニル基又は複素環基を示し、その置換基の少なくとも1つがC1-C4ハロアルコキシ基、C2-C6パーフルオロアルキル基、C1-C6パーフルオロアルキルチオ基、C1-C6パーフルオロアルキルスルフィニル基、又はC1-C6パーフルオロアルキルスルホニル基である。

一般式(6)で表される芳香族カルボン酸ハライド誘導体と一般式(7)で表される芳香族アミン誘導体を適当な溶媒中もしくは無溶媒で反応させることにより、一般式(8)で表される芳香族イミド誘導体を製造することができる。
溶媒としては、本反応の進行を著しく阻害しないものであれば良く、例えば、水、ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン等の芳香族炭化水素類、ジクロロメタン、クロロホルム、四塩化炭素等のハロゲン化炭化水素類、ジエチルエーテル、ジオキサン、テトラヒドロフラン、1,2-ジメトキシエタン等の鎖状又は環状エーテル類、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル等のエステル類、メタノール、エタノール等のアルコール類、アセトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、シクロヘキサノン等のケトン類、ジメチルホルムアミド、ジメチルアセトアミドなどのアミド類、アセトニトリルなどのニトリル類、1,3-ジメチル-2-イミダゾリジノンなどの不活性溶媒を示すことができる。これらの溶媒は1種単独又は2種以上混合して使用することができる。
反応温度は、-20℃から使用する溶媒の還流温度の範囲で、反応時間は、数分から96時間の範囲で、それぞれ適宜選択すればよい。
前記に示した製造方法において、目的物は、反応終了後、反応系から常法に従って単離すればよいが、必要に応じて、再結晶、カラムクロマトグラフィー、蒸留などの操作を行い精製することができる。
なお、表中、「n-」はノルマルを、「Me」はメチル基を、「Et」はエチル基を、「H」は水素原子を、「O」は酸素原子を、「S」は硫黄原子を、「C」は炭素原子を、「N」は窒素原子を、「F」はフッ素原子を、「Cl」は塩素原子を、「Br」は臭素原子を、「I」はヨウ素原子を、「CF3」はトリフルオロメチル基をそれぞれ表すものである。

有効成分化合物の乳化、分散、可溶化及び/又は湿潤の目的のために界面活性剤が使用され、例えば、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルアリールエーテル、ポリオキシエチレン高級脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレン樹脂酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノラウレート、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノオレエート、アルキルアリールスルホン酸塩、ナフタレンスルホン酸塩、リグニンスルホン酸塩、高級アルコール硫酸エステルなどの界面活性剤を示すことができる。
固体製品の流動性改良のために次に挙げる補助剤を使用することもでき、例えばワックス、ステアリン酸塩、燐酸アルキルエステルなどの補助剤を使用することができる。懸濁性製品の解こう剤として、例えばナフタレンスルホン酸縮合物、縮合燐酸塩などの補助剤を使用することもできる。消泡剤としては、例えばシリコーン油などの補助剤を使用することもできる。
上記の殺虫剤、殺菌剤の他に、一般式(1)で表されるイミド化合物は除草剤、肥料、土壌改良材、植物成長調整剤などの植物保護剤や資材などと混合して、更に効力の優れた多目的組成物を作ることもでき、また相加効果又は相乗効果も期待できる組成物とすることもできる。

2-ブロモ-4-ヘプタフルオロイソプロピル-6-(トリフルオロメチル)アニリン1.00g、トリエチルアミン0.89g、N、N-ジメチル-4-アミノピリジン0.03g及び2-フルオロ-3-(N-メチルベンズアミド)ベンゾイルクロライド1.57gを1,3-ジメチルイミダゾリジン-2-オン4.00gに加えて室温で1時間撹拌した。反応液を酢酸エチルで抽出して、飽和食塩水で洗浄した後、有機層を硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥させた。硫酸マグネシウムを濾別したのち溶液を濃縮して、シリカゲルクロマトグラフィーで精製することにより、目的とするイミド化合物2.20g(収率97%)を白色固体として得た。

N-[2-フルオロ-3-[ベンゾイル(メチル)アミノ]ベンゾイル]-3-[ベンゾイル(メチル)アミノ]-N-「4-ヘプタフルオロイソプロピル-2-ヨード-6-(トリフルオロメチル)フェニル]-2-フルオロベンズアミド(化合物番号1343)の合成
4-ヘプタフルオロイソプロピル-2-ヨード-6-(トリフルオロメチル)アニリン3.79g、トリエチルアミン2.80g,N、N-ジメチル-4-アミノピリジン0.06g、2-フルオロ-3-(N-メチルベンズアミド)ベンゾイルクロライド5.3g、及びトルエン7.6gを用いて90℃で2時間攪拌した。反応液を室温に冷却後、水を加えて析出した結晶を濾過し、トルエン、水で洗浄することにより目的とするイミド化合物5.87g(収率73%)を淡黄色固体として得た。

一般式(1)で表される本発明化合物20部、ソルポール355S(東邦化学工業製、界面活性剤)10部、キシレン70部、以上を均一に攪拌混合して乳剤を得た。
一般式(1)で表される本発明化合物10部、アルキルナフタレンスルホン酸ナトリウム2部、リグニンスルホン酸ナトリウム1部、ホワイトカーボン5部、珪藻土82部、以上を均一に攪拌混合して水和剤を得た。
一般式(1)で表される本発明化合物0.3部、ホワイトカーボン0.3部を均一に混合し、クレー99.2部、ドリレスA(三共株式会社製)0.2部を加えて、均一に粉砕混合し、粉剤を得た。
一般式(1)で表される本発明化合物2部、ホワイトカーボン2部、リグニンスルホン酸ナトリウム2部、ベントナイト94部、以上を均一に粉砕混合後、水を加えて混練し、造粒乾燥して粒剤を得た。
一般式(1)で表される本発明化合物20部及びポリビニルアルコールの20%水溶液5部を十分攪拌混合した後、キサンタンガムの0.8%水溶液75部を加えて、再び攪拌混合してフロアブル剤を得た。
試験化合物を所定濃度に希釈した薬液にキャベツ葉片を30秒間浸漬し風乾後、7cmのポリエチレンカップに入れハスモンヨトウ2齢幼虫を放虫した。25℃恒温室にて放置し、3日後に生死虫数を調査した。尚、試験は1区5匹2連制で行った。
その結果、100ppmにおいて、化合物番号1342、1343、1344、1345、1357、1358、1361が70%以上の死虫率を示した。
試験化合物を所定濃度に希釈した薬液にキャベツ葉片を30秒間浸漬し風乾後、7cmのポリエチレンカップに入れコナガ2齢幼虫を放虫した。25℃恒温室にて放置し、3日後に生死虫数を調査した。尚、試験は1区5匹2連制で行った。
その結果、100ppmにおいて、化合物番号1342、1343、1344、1357、1358、1361が70%以上の死虫率を示した。

(式中、A1、A2、A3及びA4はそれぞれ独立に、炭素原子、窒素原子、又は酸化された窒素原子を示す。R1は水素原子、C1-C4アルキル基、又はC1-C4アルキルカルボニル基を示す。G1及びG2はそれぞれ独立に、酸素原子、又は硫黄原子を示す。Xはそれぞれ独立に、水素原子、ハロゲン原子、C1-C3アルキル基、又はトリフルオロメチル基を示し、Xが2以上ある場合、それぞれのXは同一でも異なっていてもよい。nは0から4の整数を示す。
Q1は置換されていてもよいフェニル基、置換されていてもよいナフチル基、又は置換されていてもよい複素環基を示す。Halは塩素原子又は臭素原子を示す。)で表される化合物と、下記一般式(5)
(式中、Q2は1つ以上の置換基を有するフェニル基又は複素環基を示し、その置換基の少なくとも1つがC1-C4ハロアルコキシ基、C2-C6パーフルオロアルキル基、C1-C6パーフルオロアルキルチオ基、C1-C6パーフルオロアルキルスルフィニル基、又はC1-C6パーフルオロアルキルスルホニル基である。)で表される化合物と、を反応させることを含む、請求項1に記載の前記一般式(1)で表されるイミド化合物の製造方法。 - 前記一般式(4)におけるQ1は、ハロゲン原子、C1-C4アルキル基、C1-C4ハロアルキル基、C2-C4アルケニル基、C2-C4ハロアルケニル基、C2-C4アルキニル基、C2-C4ハロアルキニル基、C3-C6シクロアルキル基、C3-C6ハロシクロアルキル基、C1-C3アルコキシ基、C1-C3ハロアルコキシ基、C1-C3アルキルチオ基、C1-C3ハロアルキルチオ基、C1-C3アルキルスルフィニル基、C1-C3ハロアルキルスルフィニル基、C1-C3アルキルスルホニル基、C1-C3ハロアルキルスルホニル基、モノC1-C4アルキルアミノ基、ジC1-C4アルキルアミノ基、シアノ基、ニトロ基、ヒドロキシ基、ホルミル基、C2-C4アルキルカルボニル基、C2-C4アルキルカルボニルオキシ基、C2-C4アルコキシカルボニル基、アセチルアミノ基及びフェニル基からなる置換基群より選択される1以上の同一でも異なっていてもよい置換基で置換されていてもよいフェニル基、又は、ピリジル基、ピリジン-N-オキシド基、ピリミジニル基、ピリダジル基、ピラジル基、フリル基、チエニル基、オキサゾリル基、イソキサゾリル基、オキサジアゾリル基、チアゾリル基、イソチアゾリル基、イミダゾリル基、トリアゾリル基、ピロール基、ピラゾリル基及びテトラゾリル基からなる複素環基群より選ばれ、ハロゲン原子、C1-C4アルキル基、C1-C4ハロアルキル基、C2-C4アルケニル基、C2-C4ハロアルケニル基、C2-C4アルキニル基、C2-C4ハロアルキニル基、C3-C6シクロアルキル基、C3-C6ハロシクロアルキル基、C1-C3アルコキシ基、C1-C3ハロアルコキシ基、C1-C3アルキルチオ基、C1-C3ハロアルキルチオ基、C1-C3アルキルスルフィニル基、C1-C3ハロアルキルスルフィニル基、C1-C3アルキルスルホニル基、C1-C3ハロアルキルスルホニル基、モノC1-C4アルキルアミノ基、ジC1-C4アルキルアミノ基、シアノ基、ニトロ基、ヒドロキシ基、ホルミル基、C2-C4アルキルカルボニル基、C2-C4アルキルカルボニルオキシ基、C2-C4アルコキシカルボニル基、アセチルアミノ基及びフェニル基からなる置換基群より選択される1以上の同一でも異なっていてもよい置換基で置換されていてもよい複素環基を示す、請求項4に記載のイミド化合物の製造方法。
- 請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載のイミド化合物を有効成分として含有する殺虫剤。
- 請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載のイミド化合物を有効成分として含有する農園芸用殺虫剤。
- 請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載のイミド化合物の有効量を、有害生物から有用作物を保護するために、対象とする有用作物もしくは土壌に処理することを含む、イミド化合物の使用方法。
- 請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載のイミド化合物と、不活性担体及び補助剤の少なくとも1種と、を含む組成物。
- 請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載のイミド化合物と、該イミド化合物以外の殺虫剤及び殺菌剤から選ばれる少なくとも1種と、を含む混合剤。
