Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de recyclage d'un matériau abrasif usagé contenant de l'oxyde de cérium, qui permet d'éliminer les impuretés du matériau abrasif usagé contenant de l'oxyde de cérium de manière efficace selon un processus de recyclage sûr, et donc d'assurer un recyclage approprié du matériau abrasif usagé contenant de l'oxyde de cérium. Le procédé de recyclage d'un matériau abrasif usagé contenant de l'oxyde de cérium selon l'invention comprend : une étape de dissolution de la boue résiduaire contenant de l'oxyde de cérium (CeO2) dans une solution de solvant contenant (a) un composé fluoré choisi parmi NaHF2, (NH4)HF2 ou KHF2, ou (b) un mélange contenant du fluorure de sodium NaF, (NH4)F ou KF et un acide différent de l'acide fluorhydrique ; une étape de purification de la boue résiduaire contenant de l'oxyde cérium pour éliminer les impuretés contenant de la silice (SiO2) dissoutes dans la solution de solvant ; et une étape de redispersion et de filtration de la boue résiduaire purifiée contenant de l'oxyde de cérium, ou de séchage et de calcination de la boue résiduaire purifiée contenant de l'oxyde de cérium.
