Abstract

L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés destinés à fournir une qualité d'image améliorée sur une gamme de foyers large et étendue, qui comprennent des techniques de traitement de la vue et des lentilles ophtalmiques telles que des lentilles de contact et des cristallins artificiels (CA). Des exemples de dispositifs optiques de type CA comprennent un profil réfractif asphérique imposé sur une première ou une seconde surface de la lentille, et un profil diffractif imposé sur une première ou une seconde surface de lentille. Le profil réfractif asphérique peut focaliser la lumière vers un foyer éloigné.
