2軸式ガスタービン発電システム、ガスタービンシステムの制御装置および制御方法
 本発明は、2軸式のガスタービンを用いる2軸式ガスタービン発電システム、制御装置およびガスタービンシステムの制御方法に関する。
 発電機等の負荷を駆動するガスタービンに関する技術として、例えば、特許文献1(特開2010-65636号公報)には、燃焼器で生成された燃焼ガスによって駆動される高圧タービンと燃焼器に圧縮空気を送る圧縮機とを接続する回転軸と、高圧タービンを駆動した燃焼ガスにより駆動される低圧タービンと発電機等の負荷とを接続する回転軸の2つの回転軸を有する2軸式ガスタービンが開示されている。

 上記従来技術に記載のような2軸式ガスタービンは、ポンプや発電機等の被駆動機を駆動する低圧タービンと、その低圧タービンの作動ガスを発生させるガスジェネレータ(圧縮機と高圧タービン)とを異なる回転数で運転することができる。そのため、例えば、被駆動機の回転数がガスタービン側の定格回転数より低い場合でも、圧縮機と高圧タービンとを高速回転させ、低圧タービンにおける膨張仕事能力がより一層高い作動ガスを発生させることにより高効率化を図るということもできる。
 しかしながら、上記従来技術のような2軸式ガスタービにおいては、高圧タービンの温度制約や、圧縮機の回転速度における遠心力上の機械的制約があり、これらの制約によって結果的に効率の低下が生じる場合がある。
 すなわち、例えば、圧縮機で取り込む外気の温度が設計値よりも高い場合には、相対的に空気の密度が低くなる。この場合、燃焼ガスによるタービンへの仕事が減るので回転速度が下がり、圧縮機の空気流量が減るので燃焼温度が上がってしまい、高圧タービン翼の温度も高くなる。高圧タービンには温度制約があるため燃料を絞ることになり、結果として出力・効率が低下する。
 また、圧縮機で取り込む外気の温度が設計値よりも低い場合には、相対的に空気の密度が高くなる。この場合、燃焼ガスによるタービンへの仕事が増えるので回転速度が上がってしまう。圧縮機には回転速度における制約があるため燃料を絞ることになり、結果として出力・効率が低下する。
 本発明は上記に鑑みてなされたものであり、外気温度の変化による効率の低下を抑制することができる2軸式ガスタービン発電システム、ガスタービンシステムの制御装置および制御方法を提供することを目的とする。
 上記目的を達成するために、本発明は、空気を加圧して圧縮空気を生成する圧縮機と、前記圧縮空気と燃料とを混合して燃焼する燃焼器と、前記燃焼器で得られた燃焼ガスにより駆動される高圧ガスタービンと、前記圧縮機と前記高圧ガスタービンとを繋ぐ第1回転軸と、前記第1回転軸に繋がれた電動機と、前記圧縮機に取り込まれる空気の量を調整することにより前記高圧ガスタービンの出力を制御する調速機と、前記高圧ガスタービンを駆動した後の燃焼ガスにより駆動される低圧ガスタービンと、前記低圧ガスタービンに繋がれた第2回転軸と、前記第2回転軸に繋がれた同期発電機と、外部系統に接続された前記同期発電機と前記電動機との間で電力を伝達する電力伝達経路上に設けられ、伝達される電力の周波数を変換する周波数変換器と、前記外部系統に出力する電力を指示する電力出力指令値に基づいて、前記周波数変換器を制御する周波数変換器制御装置と前記調速機とを制御することにより、前記ガスタービンと前記電動機の合計出力を制御する制御装置とを備えたものとする。
 このように、外部系統に出力する電力を指示する電力出力指令値に基づいて、周波数変換器を制御する周波数変換器制御装置と調速機とを制御することにより、ガスタービンと電動機の合計出力を制御するように構成したので、外気温度の変化による効率の低下を抑制することができる。
 本発明によれば、外気温度の変化による効率の低下を抑制することができる。

 <第1の実施の形態>
  本発明の第1の実施の形態を図面を参照しつつ説明する。
 図1は、本実施の形態に係る2軸式ガスタービン発電システムの全体構成を概略的に示す図である。また、図2は電動機、図3は周波数変換器、図4は抵抗回路の構成をそれぞれ模式的に示す図である。
 図1において、本実施の形態の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムは、2軸式ガスタービン6と、2軸式ガスタービン6に繋がれた電動機9と、2軸式ガスタービン6により駆動される同期発電機7と、外部系統50に接続された同期発電機7と電動機9との間で電力を伝達する電力伝達経路26上に設けられ、伝達される電力の周波数を変換する周波数変換器10と、2軸式ガスタービン発電システム全体の動作を制御する制御装置12とを概略備えている。
 2軸式ガスタービン6は、取り込んだ空気(外気)を加圧して圧縮空気を生成する圧縮機1と、圧縮空気と燃料とを混合して燃焼する燃焼器2と、燃焼器2で得られた燃焼ガスにより駆動される高圧ガスタービン3Hと、圧縮機1と高圧ガスタービン3Hとを繋ぐ第1回転軸4Hと、圧縮機1に取り込まれる空気の量を調整することにより高圧ガスタービン3Hの出力を制御する調速機13と、高圧ガスタービン3Hを駆動した後の燃焼ガスにより駆動される低圧ガスタービン3Lと、低圧ガスタービン3Lに繋がれた第2回転軸4Lとを備えている。
 調速機13は、圧縮機1の空気取り込み口に設けられた流量調整弁である入口案内翼5(IGV:Inlet Guide Vane)と、燃焼器2の噴射燃料とを制御することにより、2軸式ガスタービン6の回転速度及び出力の調整を行う。
 同期発電機7は、第2回転軸4Lに繋がれている。同期発電機7は、自動電圧調整装置(AVR:Automatic Voltage Regulator)14により制御される発電機回転子8を有しており、発電機回転子8が第2回転軸4Lにより伝達される低圧タービン3Lの回転力により駆動される。自動電圧調整装置14は、電圧測定装置16(後述)からの検出信号に基づいて、同期発電機7からの出力電圧の制御を行う。なお、低圧タービン3Lに接続された第2回転軸4Lと同期発電機7とは、ギアを介さずに機械的に接続されている。したがって、低圧タービン3Lと同期発電機7の回転速度は外部系統50の周波数と同期するよう常に一定に制御される。例えば、同期発電機7が2極であって出力周波数を50Hzとする場合は、その回転速度は3000min-1で一定に制御される。また、同期発電機7が4極であって出力周波数を50Hzとする場合は、その回転速度は1500min-1で一定に制御される。同様に、同期発電機7が2極または4極であって出力周波数を60Hzとする場合は、その回転速度は、それぞれ、1800min-1または3600min-1一定に制御される。

 図2に示すように、電動機9は、固定子230と回転子250とを備えている。固定子230は、ハウジング212に収められている。固定子230は、ハウジングに固定された固定子鉄心230と、固定子鉄心230に固定された固定子巻線238とから構成されている。また、回転子250は、シャフト218と、シャフト218に固定された回転子鉄心252と、回転子鉄心252の中に埋め込まれた永久磁石254とから構成されている。
 ハウジング212の軸方向両側(図2の左右方向両側)にはエンドブラケット214が設けられており、エンドブラケット214に設けられたベアリング216を介してシャフト218が回転可能に保持されている。シャフト218は、2軸式ガスタービン6の第1回転軸4Hと機械的に接続されている。固定子230と回転子250は、その間にギャップ222を有するように配置されている。
 シャフト218には、磁石位置を検出し周波数変換器制御装置11(後述)に検出信号を送る磁石位置検出器224と、シャフト218の回転速度を検出する回転速度検出器223とが設けられている。なお、回転速度検出器223による回転速度の検出は、磁石位置検出器224により検出される磁石位置から算出できるため、この場合には、回転速度検出器223は無くてもよい。また、センサレスベクトル制御を行う場合には、磁石位置検出器223も無くてもよい。
 圧縮機1の定格回転速度は高速であり、したがって、第1回転軸に接続された電動機9は、例えば、3600min-1以上の高速で駆動される。そのため、第1回転軸に接続される電動機9は、高速回転に対応した構造である必要がある。本実施の形態の電動機9のように、回転子250に永久磁石254を用いる永久磁石電動機は、回転子250を単純な構造とすることができるので機械的バランスがとりやすく,高速回転に比較的容易に対応することができる。また、このような電動機9は、構造が堅牢であり、また、メンテナンスが簡単であるという利点がある。
 図1に戻る。
 同期発電機7の出力は、電圧を変換する変圧器19Aと、変圧器19Aからの電力の伝達を遮断可能に設けられた遮断機15とを介して外部系統50に接続されている。遮断機15と外部系統50の間には、外部系統50の電圧を検出する電圧測定装置16が備えられている。電圧測定装置16の検出結果は、制御装置12と、自動電圧調整装置14と、異常制御装置22(後述)に送られる。
 また、同期発電機7と変圧器19Aの間の電力伝達経路には、同期発電機7と変圧器19Aの間に並列接続され、同期発電機7及び変圧器19Aの接続(言い換えると短絡)と遮断(言い換えると開放)とを異常制御装置22(後述)からの制御信号に基づいて切り換える切換装置501を設けた抵抗回路21が配置されている(図4参照)。抵抗回路21は、切り替え装置501を介して同期発電機7と変圧器19Aの間の電力伝達経路に並列接続された抵抗器502を有している。切換装置501により抵抗器502が切断状態の場合、抵抗回路21は、同期発電機7と変圧器19Aの間の電力伝達に影響しない。切換装置501により抵抗器502が接続状態の場合、抵抗回路21は、同期発電機7と変圧器19Aの間の電力を消費する。
 また、同期発電機7の出力は、電力伝達経路26を介して電動機9に接続されている。電力伝達経路26は、変圧器19Aの同期発電機7側と電動機9との間で電力を伝達するものである。電力伝達経路26上には、同期発電機7と電動機9との間で伝達される電力の周波数変換および伝達方向の切り換えを行う周波数変換器10と、同期発電機7と周波数変換器10の間で伝達される電力の電圧を変換する変圧器19Bと、が設けられている。
 周波数変換器10は、周波数変換器制御装置11により制御される。周波数変換器制御装置11は、電力伝達経路26上における周波数変換器10の同期発電機7側(すなわち、変圧器19A側)と電動機9側とにそれぞれ設けられた電流センサ20A,20Bからの検出信号と、制御装置12からの制御信号と、異常制御装置22からの異常時制御信号とに基づいて周波数変換器10を制御し、同期発電機7と電動機9との間で伝達される電力の周波数変換および伝達方向の切り換えを行う。電動機9により第1回転軸を介して圧縮機1に加えられるトルクを周波数変換器制御装置11により制御することにより、圧縮機1を可変速制御することができる。
 図3に示すように、周波数変換器10は、外部系統50側(すなわち、同期発電機7側)の交流電力を直流化する変換器403と、直流化した電力を交流化して電動機9側に伝達する変換器402と、変換器403と変換器402の間での電力の変動分を平滑化するコンデンサ404とを備えている。なお、変換器402,403は、それぞれ、交流電力を直流化する機能と、直流電力を交流化する機能の両方の機能を有している。したがって、電動機9側の電力を周波数変換して同期発電機7側に伝達する場合は、電動機9側の交流電力を変換器402で直流化し、コンデンサ404で電力の変動分を平滑化し、直流化した電力を変換器403で交流化して同期発電機7側に伝達する。
 図1に戻る。
 制御装置12は、上位の制御装置(図示せず)から出力される電力出力指令値18、或いは、圧縮機1に取り込まれ空気の状態(気温、気圧、湿度)を計測する外気状態計測装置(気温計、気圧計、湿度計)17からの計測結果と電力出力指令値18とに基づいて、周波数変換器制御装置11と調速機13とを制御することにより、2軸式ガスタービン6の出力と電動機9の合計出力を制御する。
 異常制御装置22は、予め定めた外部系統50の電圧異常の判定基準値(グリッドコード:後述)と電圧測定装置16の測定結果との比較結果により外部系統50に生じた電圧異常を検出する。異常制御装置22は、電圧異常を検出した場合、すなわち、外部系統50に電圧異常が生じたと判定した場合には、抵抗回路21の切換装置501を遮断から接続に切り換えるよう制御し、その他の場合には、抵抗回路21の切換装置501を遮断状態に制御する。また、異常制御装置22は、外部系統50の電圧異常を検出した場合には、異常時制御信号を周波数変換器制御装置11に送る。
 周波数変換器制御装置11は、異常制御装置22が外部系統50の電圧異常を検出していない正常時には制御装置12の制御(通常時制御:後述)に従い、電圧異常を検出した異常時には、異常制御装置22の制御(異常時制御:後述)に従って動作する。
 ここで、異常制御装置22による外部系統50の電圧異常判定の処理について説明する。
 図7は、外部系統50の電圧異常の一例として瞬時電圧低下の電圧の時間変化とグリッドコードとの関係を示す図であり、縦軸に外部系統50の系統電圧、横軸に時間をそれぞれ示している。
 図7においては、グリッドコードを実線201、瞬時電圧低下が発生したときの電圧波形の2例を破線101,102で示している。
 グリッドコードの各時間における数値設定として、例えば、欧州のグリッドコードでは,瞬時電圧低下が発生した時間t0から時間t2までがおよそ0.1~0.2secに設定されており、時間t0~時間t3がおよそ1秒程度に設定されている。
 異常制御装置22は、たとえば、外部系統50の異常により電圧が破線101のようにグリッドコード201の範囲内で変化した場合には、外部系統50に電圧異常が生じたと判定しない。一方、異常制御装置22は、たとえば、外部系統50の異常により電圧が破線102のようにグリッドコード201と交差し(時間t2参照)、グリッドコード201の範囲外まで変化した場合には、外部系統50に電圧異常が生じたと判定し、異常時制御を実施する。
 ここで、以上のように構成した本実施の形態の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおける通常時制御および異常時制御の詳細について説明する。
 (通常時制御)
  異常制御装置22が外部系統50の電圧異常を検出していない正常時において、制御装置12は、上位の制御装置(図示せず)から出力される電力出力指令値18、或いは、値圧縮機1に取り込まれ空気の状態(気温、気圧、湿度)を計測する外気状態計測装置17からの計測結果と電力出力指令値18とに基づいて、周波数変換器制御装置11と調速機13とを制御することにより、2軸式ガスタービン6の出力と電動機9の合計出力を制御する。
 図5は、制御装置12の通常時制御における2軸式ガスタービンの出力の大気温度特性を模式的に示す図であり、縦軸はガスタービン出力を、横軸は大気温度をそれぞれ示している。なお、大気温度とは、圧縮機1に取り込まれる空気の温度である。図5において、特性線A1,B1は、本実施の形態の通常時制御における特性を示すものであり、特性線A2,B2は、本実施の形態の通常時制御を行わない比較例の特性を示している。
 制御装置12は、大気温度が設計温度の範囲である場合、調速器13をかいして2軸式ガスタービン6の動作を制御するとともに、周波数変換器制御装置11を介して周波数変換器10の動作を制御し、2軸式ガスタービン6により駆動される同期発電機7の出力303と電動機9の出力302の合計出力301が電力指令値18でバランスするように制御する(図6参照)。なお、電動機9で圧縮機1をアシストするよう制御した場合は、2軸式ガスタービン6の出力303からアシストに要した電動機9の入力(出力302の逆方向の供給電力)を引き算した値が外部系統50への出力301となる。また、電動機9で圧縮機1を制動した場合は、2軸式ガスタービン6の出力303と、電動機9からの出力302の合計が外部系統50への出力となる。
 2軸式ガスタービン6においては、燃焼機2による燃焼ガスの温度が高くなるほど効率がよく、したがって、上記のような定格負荷運転時に最も性能が良くなるように、つまり、燃焼ガスの温度が高圧タービン3Hの構成材料の限界温度となるよう設計し制御している。
 制御装置12は、大気温度が設計値よりも高くなった場合、周波数変換器制御装置11を介して周波数変換器10の動作を制御し、電動機9に順方向(圧縮機1の回転方向と同方向)の駆動力を生じさせる。このとき、電動機9により、第1回転軸4Hを介して圧縮機1の回転がアシストされる。
 このように、圧縮機1に取り込む外気の温度が設計値よりも高い場合には、相対的に空気の密度が低くなる。この場合、燃焼ガスによるタービンへの仕事が減るので回転速度が下がり、圧縮機の空気流量が減るので燃焼温度が上がってしまい、高圧タービン翼の温度も高くなる。高圧タービンには温度制約があるため、比較例では、燃料を絞ることになり、結果として特性線A2に示すように出力・効率が低下する。
 これに対し、本実施の形態においては、電動機9により、第1回転軸4Hを介して圧縮機1の回転をアシストすることによって燃焼器に供給される空気流量を増やすことができ、その結果、燃料をより多く投入することができる。したがって、2軸式ガスタービン6の出力の大気温度特性が特性線A2から特性線A1に改善する。
 また、制御装置12は、大気温度が設計値よりも低くなった場合、周波数変換器制御装置11を介して周波数変換器10の動作を制御し、電動機9に逆方向(圧縮機1の回転方向と逆方向)の駆動力を生じさせる。このとき、電動機9により、第1回転軸4Hを介して圧縮機1の回転が制動される。
 このように、圧縮機1に取り込む外気の温度が設計値よりも低い場合には、相対的に空気の密度が高くなる。この場合、燃焼ガスによるタービンへの仕事が増えるので回転速度が上がってしまう。圧縮機1には回転速度における制約があるため燃料を絞ることになり、結果として特性線B2に示すように出力・効率が低下する。
 これに対し、本実施の形態においては、電動機9により、第1回転軸4Hを介して圧縮機1の回転を制動することによって燃焼器2に供給される空気流量を絞ることができ、その結果、燃焼ガスの温度を上昇させることができる。したがって、2軸式ガスタービン6の出力の大気温度特性が特性線B2から特性線B1に改善する。
 (異常時制御)
  異常制御装置22は、外部系統50に電圧異常が生じたと判定した場合には、抵抗回路21の切換装置501を遮断から接続に切り換えるよう制御し、その他の場合には、抵抗回路21の切換装置501を遮断状態に制御する。また、異常制御装置22は、外部系統50の電圧異常を検出した場合には、異常時制御信号を周波数変換器制御装置11に送ることにより周波数変換器10を制御し、電動器9の回転駆動を制御することにより、高圧タービン3Hから第1回転軸4Hを介して見た電動機9による負荷が相対的に減るように制御する。異常制御装置22は、外部系統50に電圧異常が生じたと判定した場合には、電動機9が高圧タービン3Hに与えるトルクを電圧異常の発生前に比べて増やす、または、高圧タービン3Hからの電動機9の発電量を電圧異常の発生前に比べて減らすように制御する。
 ここで、外部系統50の電圧異常が生じた場合の異常制御装置22の異常時制御について、図8~図10を参照しつつさらに詳細に説明する。
 図8は、実線101で示した電圧変化が生じた場合の、2軸式ガスタービン6、および同期発電機7の物理量を示す図である。
 図8に示すように、2軸式ガスタービン6の出力は、外部系統50の電圧変化によらずほぼ一定値である。2軸型ガスタービン6は大きな機械装置であり、圧縮空気の流量と燃焼ガスの温度で出力が決まるので、出力変化の時定数は長くなる。したがって、2軸式ガスタービン6は外部系統50に0.2sec程度の時間で生じる急峻な出力変化に追随しない。なお、緊急遮断により、1~2秒程度の時間で2軸式ガスタービン6の出力を0(ゼロ)にすることはできるが、逆に急に出力増やすことはできない。したがって、緊急遮断を行わない場合の2軸式ガスタービン6の出力は一定と考える。
 同期発電機7の電気出力については、外部系統50の事故により一時的に出力が送れなくなる。その結果、同期発電機7において余剰入力が生じる。この余剰入力と異常継続時間との積は、同期発電機7における回転エネルギーとなる。また、同期発電機7の回転加速度は、その回転エネルギーと同期発電機7の慣性とで決まる。したがって、異常発生時において、異常継続時間が短い場合や、同期発電機7の慣性が大きい場合には、同期発電機の回転速度は変化が小さくなる。そして、異常発生時における同期発電機7の加速が少なければ、同期発電機7は回転子の位相は系統周波数に対して少し進むだけで済む。この位相のズレは、外部系統50の電圧の復帰時に同期化力が働くことにより、減少しながら元の状態に戻る。
 同期発電機7における同期化力Pは、同期発電機7の誘起電圧E、同期リアクタンスXd、端子電圧Vと誘起電圧Eの間の位相角である負荷角σを用いて以下の(式1)で表される。

 ここで、負荷角σは、外部系統50の電圧位相と誘起電圧Eの位相、すなわち、2極発電機の場合には、発電機回転子8の回転角度そのものである。上記(式1)からわかるように、負荷角σ=90°において、同期化力P=0(ゼロ)になる。同期発電機7は、通常運転時においては負荷角σ≒40°で運転している。したがって、同期化力が働く(P>0となる)ためには、外部系統50の電圧が異常から復帰した時の回転子の角度が、異常前の回転子の角度に対して数十度の範囲である必要がある。
 外部系統50の異常発生での同期発電機7の加速によって、回転子の位相のずれが上位範囲を超えてしまった場合には、同期化力Pが働かないので同期発電機7は一気に加速し、外部系統50の周波数との同期ずれが生じる(図10参照)。この状態を脱調と呼ぶ。同期発電機7は、脱調状態においては発電できない。
 図8においては、発電機位相がπ/2よりも小さいため、同期発電機7は同期化力Pによって異常発生前の同期状態に戻る。
 図9は、破線102で示した電圧変化が生じた場合の、2軸式ガスタービン6、および同期発電機7の物理量を示す図である。
 前述のように、異常制御装置22は、外部系統50に電圧異常が生じたと判定した場合には、抵抗回路21の切換装置501を遮断から接続に切り換えるよう制御し、その他の場合には、抵抗回路21の切換装置501を遮断状態に制御する。また、異常制御装置22は、外部系統50の電圧異常を検出した場合には、異常時制御信号を周波数変換器制御装置11に送ることにより周波数変換器10を制御し、電動器9の回転駆動を制御することにより、高圧タービン3Hから第1回転軸4Hを介して見た電動機9による負荷が相対的に減るように制御する。異常制御装置22は、外部系統50に電圧異常が生じたと判定した場合には、電動機9が高圧タービン3Hに与えるトルクを電圧異常の発生前に比べて増やす、または、高圧タービン3Hからの電動機9の発電量を電圧異常の発生前に比べて減らすように制御する。通常運転時には、電動機9は圧縮機1に対してアシストしている場合もあるし、制動している場合もある。電動機9が圧縮機1をアシストしている場合に外部系統50の電圧異常を検出すると、電動機9はアシスト量を増やし、また、アシスト量が上限の場合にはそのアシスト量をキープする。なお、電動機9は数秒程度の短時間であれば緊急時を条件として定格出力の2倍程度を出すことが可能であるため、アシスト量を瞬間的に増やすことができる。また、電動機9が圧縮機1を制動している場合に外部系統50の電圧異常を検出すると、電動機9による発電量を減らす、あるいは、圧縮機1のアシストに切換えることで、異常発生前の状態より低圧タービン3L側の余剰エネルギーが減ることになる。
 図9に示すように、異常制御装置22は、外部系統50に電圧異常が生じたと判定した場合には、電圧異常の発生から遅れt4秒後に、電動機9を制御して、圧縮機1の回転をアシストする。つまり、時間t4以降においては、同期発電機7の出力電力を、電動機9を介する形で圧縮機1に送ることになるので、同期発電機7で生じた余剰入力は実線にそって変化する。また、圧縮機1は電動機9によってアシストされるため、回転速度は実線のように増加する。ただし、圧縮機1の消費動力は回転速度の2~3乗であるので、加速はしにくく速度変化は少ない。
 以上のように構成した本実施の形態の効果を説明する。
 2軸式ガスタービンは、ポンプや発電機等の被駆動機を駆動する低圧タービンと、その低圧タービンの作動ガスを発生させるガスジェネレータ(圧縮機と高圧タービン)とを異なる回転数で運転することができる。そのため、例えば、被駆動機の回転数がガスタービン側の定格回転数より低い場合でも、圧縮機と高圧タービンとを高速回転させ、低圧タービンにおける膨張仕事能力がより一層高い作動ガスを発生させることにより高効率化を図るということもできる。
 しかしながら、従来技術における2軸式ガスタービでは、高圧タービンの温度制約や、圧縮機の回転速度における遠心力上の機械的制約があり、これらの制約によって結果的に効率の低下が生じる場合がある。すなわち、例えば、圧縮機で取り込む外気の温度が設計値よりも高い場合には、相対的に空気の密度が低くなる。この場合、燃焼ガスによるタービンへの仕事が減るので回転速度が下がり、圧縮機の空気流量が減るので燃焼温度が上がってしまい、高圧タービン翼の温度も高くなる。高圧タービンには温度制約があるため燃料を絞ることになり、結果として出力・効率が低下する。また、圧縮機で取り込む外気の温度が設計値よりも低い場合には、相対的に空気の密度が高くなる。この場合、燃焼ガスによるタービンへの仕事が増えるので回転速度が上がってしまう。圧縮機には回転速度における制約があるため燃料を絞ることになり、結果として出力・効率が低下する。
 これに対し、本実施の形態においては、外部系統50に出力する電力を指示する電力出力指令値18に基づいて、周波数変換器10を制御する周波数変換器制御装置11と調速機13とを制御することにより、2軸式ガスタービン6と電動機9の合計出力を制御するように構成したので、外気温度の変化による効率の低下を抑制することができる。
 また、従来技術における2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいては、外部系統の異常発生時には、2軸式ガスタービンを外部系統から切り離して(解列)保護していた。しかしながら、風力などの再生可能エネルギーの導入が進むなかで、電力系統全体が不安定になることも予め想定されており、従来技術のように外部系統の異常発生時に、ある一つの発電機が自らの装置を保護するため解列を始めると、その分だけ系統全体の電圧が下がり、連鎖的に他の発電機へ解列が広がって、大規模停電が発生することが懸念されている。
 このような事態に対応するため、欧州や中国では、風力発電機や太陽光発電などの分散電源には、異常発生時にも運転継続(Fault-Ride Through:FRT)機能を求める規格が策定されている。このようなFRTに対応する規格をグリッドコードという。つまり、グリッドコードとは、電力系統の安定に責任ある事業者が発電業事業者に求める規格で、発電機端の電圧が、このグリッドコード内に入っている場合には、その系統に繋がれている発電機を解列してはならないというものである。そして、このような対応は、集中電源の汽力発電機、ガスタービン発電機にも求められている。
 しかしながら、短絡などの系統事故時には、一時的に同期発電機はガスタービンから受け取ったエネルギーを外部系統に送れなくなる。すると、その間の同期発電機への余剰入力で同期発電機の回転速度が加速し、同期状態から外れる、いわゆる脱調を起こす恐れがある。脱調状態においては発電できず、また、一度、脱調すると再び発電可能になるまでに数分~十分の時間がかかるため、運転継続は不可能であった。したがって、運転継続機能の確保のためには、同期発電機を脱調させないことが必要であった。
 これに対して本実施の形態においては、異常制御装置22は、外部系統50の電圧がグリッドコードを逸脱する電圧異常を検出した場合には、異常時制御信号を周波数変換器制御装置11に送ることにより周波数変換器10を制御し、電動器9の回転駆動を制御することにより、高圧タービン3Hから第1回転軸4Hを介して見た電動機9による負荷が相対的に減るように制御するように構成した。つまり、外部系統50の異常発生時に、低圧軸に繋がれた同期発電機7側のエネルギーを、電動機9を介して圧縮機1側に瞬時に移動させるように構成したので、同期発電機7の加速による脱調発生を抑制することができ、同期発電機7の同期運転の継続性を向上することができる。
 また、異常制御装置22は、外部系統50に電圧異常が生じたと判定した場合には、抵抗回路21の切換装置501を遮断から接続に切り換えるよう構成したので、同期発電機7からの余剰出力が減少し、脱調しにくくなる。
 また、外部系統50の電圧異常が発生した場合に生じる同期発電機7の余剰電力を、電動機9による電力制御と、抵抗回路21による消費の二つの方法を組み合わせることができるので、脱調の抑制に必要な電動機9の容量および周波数変換器10の容量を小さくすることができ、コストの削減を図ることが出来る。
 <第1の実施の形態の変形例>
  本発明の第1の実施の形態の変形例を図面を参照しつつ説明する。
 第1の実施の形態においては、図2に示したような電動機9を用いたが、これに代えて、図11に示すような電動機9Aを用いても良い。
 図11において、電動機9Aは、固定子230と回転子250とを備えている。固定子230は、ハウジング212に収められている。固定子230は、ハウジングに固定された固定子鉄心230と、固定子鉄心230に固定された固定子巻線238とから構成されている。また、回転子250は、シャフト218と、シャフト218に固定された回転子鉄心252と、回転子鉄心252の中に埋め込まれた導電性バー255と、導電性バー255に電気的に繋がれたエンドリングとから構成されている。その他の構成は、第1の実施の形態の電動機9と同様である。以上のように構成した本変形例においても、第1の実施の形態の形態と同様の効果を得ることができる。
 また、第1の実施の形態においては、図3に示すように、外部系統50側(すなわち、同期発電機7側)と電動機9側の両方に、交流電力の直流化及び直流電力の交流化を行う変換器402,403を設けた周波数変換器10を用いた場合について説明したが、これに限られず、周波数変換器10に代えて、図12に示す周波数変換器10Aを用いても良い。
 図12において、周波数変換器10Aは、外部系統50側(すなわち、同期発電機7側)の交流電力を直流化する整流器401と、直流化した電力を交流化して電動機9側に伝達する変換器402と、変換器403と変換器402の間での電力の変動分を平滑化するコンデンサ404とを備えている。この場合には、電動機9は圧縮機1に対するアシスト機能のみを持つ構成となる。整流器401は、交直変換と直交変換の両方の機能を有する変換器403よりも簡単であり、コストを抑制することができるという利点がある。なお、電動機9が圧縮機1に対する制動機能のみを持つ構成とする場合には、外部系統50側を変換器402とし、電動機9側を整流器とすることもできる。
 <第2の実施の形態>
  本発明の第2の実施の形態を図13を参照しつつ説明する。図中、第1の実施の形態と同様の部材には同じ符号を付し、説明を省略する。
 第1の実施の形態では、第1回転軸4Hと電動機9、及び、第2回転軸4Lと同期発電機7とをギアを介さずに機械的に接続した場合について説明したが、本実施の形態では、ギアを介して機械的に接続した場合のものである。
 図13に示すように、低圧タービン3Lに接続された第2回転軸4Lと同期発電機7とは、減速機24を介して機械的に接続されている。また、圧縮機1及び高圧タービン3Hに接続された第1回転軸4Hと電動機9とは、減速機23を介さずに機械的に接続されている。その他の構成は、第1の実施の形態と同様である。
 以上のように構成した本実施の形態においても、第1の実施の形態と同様の効果を得ることができる。
 また、2軸式ガスタービン6の圧縮機1の回転速度と電動機9の回転速度が一致しない場合においては、電動機9側の回転数を対応させるために別に電動機を用意する必要があり、コストが増加してしまうという問題があった。これに対し、本実施の形態においては、減速機23を介して電動機9と圧縮機1を接続するように構成したので、電動機9には汎用の電動機を用いることができ、コストの増加を抑制することができる。また同様に、減速機24を介して同期発電機7と低圧タービン3Lを接続するように構成したので、同期発電機24には汎用的な同期発電機を用いることができ、コストの増加を抑制することができる。

Claims (16)

  1.  空気を加圧して圧縮空気を生成する圧縮機(1)と、
     前記圧縮空気と燃料とを混合して燃焼する燃焼器(2)と、
     前記燃焼器で得られた燃焼ガスにより駆動される高圧ガスタービン(3H)と、
     前記圧縮機と前記高圧ガスタービンとを繋ぐ第1回転軸(4H)と、
     前記第1回転軸に繋がれた電動機(9)と、
     前記圧縮機に取り込まれる空気の量を調整することにより前記高圧ガスタービンの出力を制御する調速機(13)と、
     前記高圧ガスタービンを駆動した後の燃焼ガスにより駆動される低圧ガスタービン(4L)と、
     前記低圧ガスタービンに繋がれた第2回転軸(4L)と、
     前記第2回転軸に繋がれた同期発電機(7)と、
     外部系統(50)に接続された前記同期発電機と前記電動機との間で電力を伝達する電力伝達経路(23)上に設けられ、伝達される電力の周波数を変換する周波数変換器(10)と、
     前記外部系統に出力する電力を指示する電力出力指令値に基づいて、前記周波数変換器を制御する周波数変換器制御装置(11)と前記調速機とを制御することにより、前記ガスタービンと前記電動機の合計出力を制御する制御装置(12)と
    を備えたことを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  2.  請求項1記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記圧縮機(1)に取り込まれ空気の状態を計測する外気状態計測装置(17)を備え、
     前記制御装置(12)は、前記電力出力指令値と、前記外気状態計測装置の計測結果とに基づいて、前記周波数変換器を制御する周波数変換器制御装置(11)と調速機とを制御することにより、前記ガスタービンと前記電動機の合計出力を制御することを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  3.  請求項1又は2記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記同期発電機(7)から前記外部系統(50)に出力される電圧を変換する変圧器(19A)と、
     前記変圧器を介して前記外部系統に伝達される電力を遮断可能に設けられた遮断機(15)と、
     前記遮断器における前記外部系統側の電圧を測定する電圧測定装置(16)と、
     予め定めた外部系統の電圧異常の基準値と前記電圧測定装置の測定結果との比較結果に基づいて、前記外部系統に生じた電圧異常を検出し、電圧異常を検出した場合には、前記高圧タービン(3H)から前記第1回転軸(4H)を介して見た前記電動機(9)による負荷が相対的に減るように前記周波数変換器制御装置(11)を制御する異常制御装置(22)と
    を備えたことを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  4.  請求項1又は2記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記同期発電機(7)から前記外部系統(50)に出力される電力の圧力を変換する変圧器(19A)と、
     前記変圧器を介して前記外部系統に伝達される電力を遮断可能に設けられた遮断機(15)と、
     前記遮断器における前記外部系統側の電圧を測定する電圧測定装置(16)と、
     前記同期発電機と前記変圧器の間に並列接続され、前記同期発電機及び前記変圧器との接続と遮断とを切り換える切換装置(501)を設けた抵抗回路(21)と、
     予め定めた外部系統の電圧異常の基準値と前記電圧測定装置の測定結果との比較結果により前記外部系統に生じた電圧異常を検出し、電圧異常を検出した場合には、前記抵抗回路の切換装置を遮断から接続に切り換える異常制御装置(22)と
    を備えたことを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  5.  請求項3記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記同期発電機(7)と前記変圧器(19A)の間に並列接続され、前記同期発電機及び前記変圧器との接続と遮断とを切り換える切換装置(501)を設けた抵抗回路(21)を備え、
     前記異常制御装置(22)は、前記外部系統に生じた電圧異常を検出した場合には、前記抵抗回路の切換装置を遮断から接続に切り換えることを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  6.  請求項1~5の何れか1項に記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記電動機(9)は、
     固定子鉄心(232)と、該固定子鉄心に巻回された固定子巻線(238)とを有する固定子(230)と、
     複数の磁石挿入孔が形成された回転子鉄心(252)と、前記磁石挿入孔の内部に保持された磁極を形成するための複数の永久磁石(254)とを有し、前記固定子に対して回転自在に設けられた回転子(250)と
    を備えたことを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  7.  請求項1~5の何れか1項に記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記電動機(9)は、
     固定子鉄心(232)と、該固定子鉄心に巻回された固定子巻線(238)とを有する固定子(230)と、
     複数の導電性バー挿入孔が形成された回転子鉄心(252)と、前記電動性バー挿入孔の内部に挿入され、軸の両端でそれぞれエンドリングにより電気的に接続された電動性バー(255)とを設けた回転子(250)と
    を備えたことを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  8.  請求項1~7の何れか1項に記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記電力変換器(10)は、前記同期発電機(7)側と前記電動機(9)側の両方に接続され、電力を交流から直流に変換する機能と直流から交流に変換する機能とを有する変換器(402,403)を備えたことを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  9.  請求項1~7の何れか1項に記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記電力変換器(10)は、前記同期発電機(7)側と前記電動機(9)側の何れか一方に接続され、電力を交流から直流に変換する機能と直流から交流に変換する機能とを有する変換器(402)と、他方に接続され、電力を交流から直流に変換する整流器(401)とを備えたことを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  10.  請求項1~9の何れか1項に記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記圧縮機(1)に接続された前記第1回転軸(4H)と前記電動機(9)とは、ギアを介さずに機械的に接続されていることを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  11.  請求項1~10の何れか1項に記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記低圧タービン(3L)に接続された前記第2回転軸(4L)と前記同期発電機(7)とは、ギアを介さずに機械的に接続されていることを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  12.  請求項1~11の何れか1項に記載の2軸式ガスタービン発電システムにおいて、
     前記電動機(9)の容量は、前記同期発電機(7)の容量よりも小さいことを特徴とする2軸式ガスタービン発電システム。
  13.  空気を加圧して圧縮空気を生成する圧縮機(1)と、前記圧縮空気と燃料とを混合して燃焼する燃焼器(2)と、前記燃焼器で得られた燃焼ガスにより駆動される高圧ガスタービン(3H)と、前記圧縮機と前記高圧ガスタービンとを繋ぐ第1回転軸(4H)と、前記第1回転軸に繋がれた電動機(9)と、前記圧縮機に取り込まれる空気の量を調整することにより前記高圧ガスタービンの出力を制御する調速機(13)と、前記高圧ガスタービンを駆動した後の燃焼ガスにより駆動される低圧ガスタービン(4L)と、前記低圧ガスタービンに繋がれた第2回転軸(4L)と、前記第2回転軸に繋がれた同期発電機(7)と、外部系統(50)に接続された前記同期発電機と前記電動機との間で電力を伝達する電力伝達経路(23)上に設けられ、伝達される電力の周波数を変換する周波数変換器(10)とを備えたガスタービンシステムの制御方法であって、
     前記外部系統に出力する電力を指示する電力出力指令値に基づいて、前記周波数変換器を制御する周波数変換器制御装置(11)と前記調速機とを制御することにより、前記ガスタービンと前記電動機の合計出力を制御する手順を有することを特徴とするガスタービンシステムの制御方法。
  14.  請求項13記載のガスタービンシステムの制御方法において、
     前記同期発電機(7)から前記外部系統(50)に出力される電力の圧力を変換する変圧器(19A)と、前記変圧器を介して前記外部系統に伝達される電力を遮断可能に設けられた遮断機(15)とを備えたガスタービンシステムの制御方法であって、
     前記遮断器における前記外部系統側の電圧を測定する手順と、
     予め定めた外部系統の電圧異常の基準値と前記電圧の測定結果との比較結果に基づいて、前記外部系統に生じた電圧異常を検出する手順と、
     電圧異常を検出した場合に、前記高圧タービン(3H)から前記第1回転軸(4H)を介して見た前記電動機(9)による負荷が相対的に減るように前記周波数変換器制御装置(11)を制御する手順と
    を有することを特徴とするガスタービンシステムの制御方法。
  15.  空気を加圧して圧縮空気を生成する圧縮機(1)と、前記圧縮空気と燃料とを混合して燃焼する燃焼器(2)と、前記燃焼器で得られた燃焼ガスにより駆動される高圧ガスタービン(3H)と、前記圧縮機と前記高圧ガスタービンとを繋ぐ第1回転軸(4H)と、前記第1回転軸に繋がれた電動機(9)と、前記圧縮機に取り込まれる空気の量を調整することにより前記高圧ガスタービンの出力を制御する調速機(13)と、前記高圧ガスタービンを駆動した後の燃焼ガスにより駆動される低圧ガスタービン(4L)と、前記低圧ガスタービンに繋がれた第2回転軸(4L)と、前記第2回転軸に繋がれた同期発電機(7)と、外部系統(50)に接続された前記同期発電機と前記電動機との間で電力を伝達する電力伝達経路(23)上に設けられ、伝達される電力の周波数を変換する周波数変換器(10)とを備えたガスタービンシステムの制御装置であって、
     前記外部系統に出力する電力を指示する電力出力指令値に基づいて、前記周波数変換器を制御する周波数変換器制御装置(11)と前記調速機とを制御することにより、前記ガスタービンと前記電動機の合計出力を制御することを特徴とするガスタービンシステムの制御装置。
  16.  請求項15記載のガスタービンシステムの制御装置において、
     前記同期発電機(7)から前記外部系統(50)に出力される電力の圧力を変換する変圧器(19A)と、前記変圧器を介して前記外部系統に伝達される電力を遮断可能に設けられた遮断機(15)と、前記遮断器における前記外部系統側の電圧を測定する電圧測定装置(16)とを備えたガスタービンシステムの制御装置であって、
     予め定めた外部系統の電圧異常の基準値と前記電圧測定装置の測定結果との比較結果に基づいて、前記外部系統に生じた電圧異常を検出し、電圧異常を検出した場合には、前記高圧タービン(3H)から前記第1回転軸(4H)を介して見た前記電動機(9)による負荷が相対的に減るように前記周波数変換器制御装置(11)を制御することを特徴とするガスタービンシステムの制御装置。
