Abstract

The invention relates to a device for reducing the liquid content of a substrate (3), comprising a rotation-activated centrifugal shaft (11) which can be brought into contact along the periphery thereof with the substrate (3) and which guides the substrate (3) into a chamber which is adjacent to said centrifugal shaft (11) through which a drying medium which absorbs the moisture can flow. The centrifugal shaft (11) is provided on the periphery with at least one brush-like device which absorbs substrate particles when they come into contact with the substrate (3) and projects them in the direction of the chamber.
