Abstract

本发明公开一种扁平式导体用电连接器及其与扁平式导体的组装方法，包括绝缘本体、屏蔽壳体，该绝缘本体内形成有供扁平式导体插入的导槽，该绝缘本体上对应扁平式导体的两缺口位置设有两个嵌槽，该嵌槽沿扁平式导体厚度方向连通于前述导槽和绝缘本体外侧之间；于该嵌槽内设有一体连接于绝缘本体上的弹性卡扣件，自然状态下弹性扣件的卡扣部伸入导槽内，组装时将扁平式导体插入抵开弹性卡扣件，扁平式导体完全插入后，弹性卡扣件自动复位扣住扁平式导体；或者，组装时先用治具顶起卡扣部，扁平式导体完全插入后，移除治具，弹性卡扣件自动复位扣住扁平式导体；其结构简单、易于制作，组装方便快捷，有效提高了生产效率及产品品质。
