Description
실시 예는 하이(High) CRI를 구현할 수 있는 조명 장치에 관한 것이다.
최근, 정보 통신 기기의 소형화 및 박형화 추세에 따라 기기의 각종 부품인 저항, 콘덴서, 노이즈 필터 등도 더욱 소형화되고 있으며, 인쇄회로기판(Printed Circuit Board, PCB)에 직접 탑재하기 위해 표면실장소자(Surface Mount Device)형으로 만들어지고 있다. 이에 따라 LED 램프도 표면실장소자형으로 개발되고 있다.
이러한 표면실장소자형 LED램프는 다양한 색 구현이 가능하고, 고연색성, 안정성, 에너지 절약 등의 장점을 가지고 있어, 휴대용 전자기기의 광원뿐만 아니라 액정표시장치(Liquid Crystal Display, LCD)의 백라이트 유닛(Back Light Unit, BLU), 조명의 광원 등으로 널리 사용되고 있다.
이 중에서, 조명의 광원으로 사용되는 종래의 LED 패키지는, 믹싱 챔버(Mixing Chamber) 내부에 발광소자 칩이 실장되고, 상기 발광소자 칩의 상부에 리모트 포스퍼(Remote Phosphor)가 배치되어 있다.
그러나, 이러한 종래의 LED 패키지는 상기 발광소자 칩의 배열이 광효율 및 색좌표에 크리티컬(Critical)하게 구성되어 있기 때문에 각 제품마다 색좌표가 달라져 편차가 발생하는 문제가 있다. 이는 제품 불량으로 이어져 제품의 신뢰도를 크게 떨어뜨리는 문제를 발생하게 된다.
전술한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 실시 예가 이루고자 하는 기술적 과제는, 하나의 기판에 두 개의 칩을 실장한 2in1 칩 패키지(Chip Package)를 사용하여 빛의 강도(intensity)에 따른 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference) 값을 0.006 이하로 맞춰줌으로써, 하이(High) CRI를 구현한 조명 장치를 제시하는 데 있다.
또한, 실시 예가 이루고자 하는 다른 기술적 과제는, 빛의 강도(intensity)에 따른 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference) 값을 0.006 이하로 산출할 수 있는 관계식을 도출하여 최적 조건의 조명을 설계할 수 있는 조명 장치를 제시하는 데 있다.
또한, 실시 예가 이루고자 하는 또 다른 기술적 과제는, 블루 칩 옐로우 포스퍼(Blue Chip Yellow Phosphor)와 레드 칩(Red Chip)을 적용한 패키지의 렌즈 설계를 통해 컬러 공간의 균일성(Uniformity)을 달성할 수 있는 조명 장치를 제시하는 데 있다.
또한, 실시 예가 이루고자 하는 또 다른 기술적 과제는, 최적의 광효율과 색좌표를 갖도록 조명 장치를 설계할 수 있는 조명 장치를 제시하는 데 있다.
또한, 실시 예가 이루고자 하는 또 다른 기술적 과제는, 제품을 대량 생산하더라도 광효율과 색좌표가 동일 또는 유사하게 제조할 수 있는 조명 장치를 제시하는 데 있다.
본 발명의 해결과제는 이상에서 언급된 것들에 한정되지 않으며, 언급되지 아니한 다른 해결과제들은 아래의 기재로부터 당업자에게 명확하게 이해되어질 수 있을 것이다.
실시 예에 의한 조명 장치는 기판; 상기 기판 상에 배치된 제 1 발광 칩; 상기 제 1 발광 칩과 소정 간격 이격된 상기 기판 상의 위치에 배치된 제 2 발광칩; 상기 제 1 발광칩의 두께 이상의 높이를 가지는 원통 형상의 제 1 측면 및 상기 제 1 측면 상에 구형 또는 반구형으로 형성된 제 1 곡면을 포함하며, 상기 제 1 발광칩을 에워싸도록 형성된 제 1 렌즈부; 상기 제 2 발광칩의 두께 이상의 높이를 가지는 원통 형상의 제 2 측면 및 상기 제 2 측면 상에 구형 또는 반구형으로 형성된 제 2 곡면을 포함하며, 상기 제 2 발광칩을 에워싸도록 형성된 제 2 렌즈부를 포함하고, 상기 제 1 측면의 적어도 일부분과 상기 제 2 측면의 적어도 일부분은 서로 접한다.

실시 예에 의한 조명 장치에서, 상기 소정의 컬러 디퍼런스(Color difference) 값은 0.006 이하이다.
실시 예에 의한 조명 장치에서, 상기 결과 값(i)은 -0.2 내지 0.1mm 의 범위 내에서 어느 하나의 값을 가진다.

실시 예에 의한 조명 장치에서, 상기 제 1 발광 칩은 블루 칩(Blue chip)이고, 상기 제 2 발광 칩은 레드 칩(Red chip)이다.
실시 예에 의한 조명 장치에서, 상기 제 1 발광 칩 또는 상기 제 2 발광 칩은, 블루 칩과, 옐로우 형광체 또는 그린 형광체를 단일 또는 복수로 사용하여 구성된다.
실시 예에 의한 조명 장치에서, 상기 제 1 발광 칩 또는 상기 제 2 발광 칩은, 자외선 발광 칩과 청색, 녹색, 적색 형광체의 1 이상의 물질 또는 2 이상의 혼합물을 사용하여 구성된다.

실시 예에 따르면, 하나의 기판에 두 개의 칩을 실장한 2in1 칩 패키지(Chip Package)를 사용하여 빛의 강도(intensity)에 따른 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference) 값을 0.006 이하로 맞춰줌으로써, 하이(High) CRI를 구현할 수 있다.
또한, 빛의 강도(intensity)에 따른 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference) 값을 0.006 이하로 산출할 수 있는 관계식을 도출함으로써, 최적 조건의 조명을 설계할 수 있다.
또한, 블루 칩 옐로우 포스퍼(Blue Chip Yellow Phosphor) + 레드 칩(Red Chip)을 적용한 패키지의 렌즈 설계를 통해 컬러 공간의 균일성(Uniformity)을 달성할 수 있다.
또한, 발광소자 배열에 따른 광효율 저하 문제와 색좌표의 편차로 인해 발생하는 불량 문제를 해결할 수 있어 제품의 신뢰도를 크게 향상시킬 수 있다.
또한, 제품을 대량 생산하더라도 광효율이 우수하고 원하는 색좌표를 얻을 수 있는 효과가 있다.
본 발명의 효과는 이상에서 언급된 것들에 한정되지 않으며, 언급되지 아니한 다른 효과들은 아래의 기재로부터 당업자에게 명확하게 이해되어 질 수 있을 것이다.

도면에서 각층의 두께나 크기는 설명의 편의 및 명확성을 위하여 과장되거나 생략되거나 또는 개략적으로 도시되었다. 또한 각 구성요소의 크기는 실제크기를 전적으로 반영하는 것은 아니다.
본 발명에 따른 실시 예의 설명에 있어서, 각 엘리먼트(element)의 " 상(위) 또는 하(아래)(on or under)"에 형성되는 것으로 기재되는 경우에 있어, 상(위) 또는 하(아래)(on or under)는 두 개의 엘리먼트(element)가 서로 직접(directly)접촉되거나 하나 이상의 다른 엘리먼트(element)가 상기 두 엘리먼트(element) 사이에 배치되어(indirectly) 형성되는 것을 모두 포함한다. 또한 "상(위) 또는 하(아래)(on or under)"으로 표현되는 경우 하나의 엘리먼트(element)를 기준으로 위쪽 방향뿐만 아니라 아래쪽 방향의 의미도 포함할 수 있다.
이하, 본 발명에서 실시하고자 하는 구체적인 기술내용에 대해 첨부도면을 참조하여 상세하게 설명하기로 한다.
실시 예
도 1 및 도 2는 실시 예에 의한 조명 장치의 사시도 및 단면도이다.
상기 조명 장치는 도 1 및 도 2에 도시된 바와 같이, 기판(10)과, 상기 기판(10) 상에 배치된 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)과, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)을 각각 에워싸도록 형성된 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)를 포함하고 있다.
먼저, 상기 기판(10)은 사각형의 판 형상을 갖지만, 이에 한정되지 않고 원형, 다각형 등 다양한 형태를 가질 수 있다. 상기 기판(10)은 절연체에 회로 패턴이 인쇄된 것일 수 있다. 예를 들어, 인쇄회로기판(PCB: Printed Circuit Board), 메탈 코아(Metal Core) PCB, 연성(Flexible) PCB, 세라믹 PCB 등을 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 기판(10)은 인쇄회로기판 상에 LED 칩을 직접 본딩할 수 있는 COB(Chips On Board) 타입을 사용할 수도 있다. 또한, 상기 기판(10)은 광을 효율적으로 반사하는 재질로 형성되거나, 표면이 광을 효율적으로 반사하는 컬러(예를 들어, 백색, 은색 등)로 형성될 수도 있다. 또한, 상기 기판(10)은 표면이 빛을 효율적으로 반사하는 재질이거나, 빛이 효율적으로 반사되는 컬러(예를 들어, 백색, 은색 등)로 코팅될 수 있다.
상기 기판(10)은 예를 들어, 1.3×1.3×0.3의 사이즈를 가질 수 있으며, 표면에서 78% 이상의 광 반사율을 가질 수 있다.
상기 기판(10) 상에는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)이 소정 간격으로 이격되어 배치되어 있고, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)을 에워싸도록 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)가 형성되어 있다.
상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)은 레드(Red), 그린(Green), 블루(Blue)의 광을 방출하는 발광 다이오드(LED) 칩이거나 UV를 방출하는 발광 다이오드(LED) 칩일 수 있다. 여기서, 상기 발광 다이오드(LED) 칩은 수평형(Lateral Type) 또는 수직형(Vertical Type)일 수 있고, 블루(Blue), 레드(Red), 옐로우(Yellow), 또는 그린(Green)을 발산할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)은 형광체를 가질 수 있다. 상기 형광체는 가넷(Garnet)계(YAG, TAG), 실리케이드(Silicate)계, 나이트라이드(Nitride)계 및 옥시나이트라이드(Oxynitride)계 중 어느 하나 이상일 수 있다. 또는, 상기 형광체는 옐로우(Yellow) 형광체, 그린(Green) 형광체 및 레드(Red) 형광체 중 어느 하나 이상일 수도 있다.
실시 예에서는, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)을 블루 칩(Blue Chip) 및 레드 칩(Red Chip)을 사용하여 구성하였다. 또한, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40) 중 어느 하나는 블루 칩(Blue Chip)으로 구성하고, 옐로우(Yellow) 형광체와 그린(Green) 형광체를 단일 또는 복수로 사용하여 구성할 수 있다.
좀더 구체적으로 설명하면, 상기 제 1 발광 칩(20)은 블루 칩(Blue Chip)으로 구성될 수 있고, 상기 제 2 발광 칩(30)은 레드 칩(Red Chip)으로 구성될 수 있다. 이때, 상기 블루 칩(Blue Chip)을 에워싸고 있는 상기 제 1 렌즈부(20)에는 옐로우(Yellow) 형광체를 사용하여 백색광을 출력하도록 한다.
상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)에는 적어도 한 개 이상의 발광소자(미도시)가 배치되어 있다. 상기 발광소자는 발광 파장이 가시 또는 근적외영역에 존재하고, 발광효율이 높으며, p-n 접합의 제작이 가능할 것 등의 조건을 만족시키는 재료들로 제조될 수 있다. 이러한 재료로는 질화갈륨(GaN), 비소화갈륨(GaAs), 인화갈륨(GaP), 갈륨-비소-인(GaAs1-xPx), 갈륨-알류미늄-비소(Ga1-xAlxAs), 인화인듐(InP), 인듐-갈륨-인(In1-xGaxP) 등의 화합물 반도체들이 사용될 수 있다. 특히, 이중에서 GaN 등의 3족 질화물계 청색 LED를 사용하여 구성될 수 있다. 이 경우, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)는 옐로우(Yellow) 형광체와 그린(Green) 형광체를 단일 또는 복수로 사용하여 구성될 수 있다. 이때, 상기 옐로우(Yellow) 형광체는 실리케이트(Silicate) 또는 YAG를 포함할 수 있으며, 540~585㎚ 영역의 파장을 가질 수 있다. 그리고, 상기 그린(Green) 형광체는 실리케이트(Silicate) 또는 나이트라이드(Nitride)를 포함할 수 있으며, 510~535㎚ 영역의 파장을 가질 수 있다.
이와 같은 구성에 의하면, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)에서 발광하는 청색광 및 적색광이 상기 제 1 또는 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)를 지나면서 옐로우(Yellow) 형광체와 그린(Green) 형광체에 흡수되어 여기되고(Exited), 이러한 에너지변환으로 발생되는 2차광에 의해 가시광선 전 영역의 광이 발생되어 빛들의 산란에 의한 색혼합에 의해 백색광이 구현되게 된다.
상술한 실시 예에서는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)과 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)를 사용하여 백색광을 구현하는 예에 대해 설명하였으나, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)과 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)의 다른 조합으로 백색광을 구현할 수도 있다.
구체적으로 설명하면, 형광체는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)의 발광소자에서 방출된 빛을 흡수하여 발광하거나 다른 형광체로부터 방출된 빛을 흡수하여 발광하는 재료이다. 이때, 상기 발광소자는 불순물의 종류에 따라 블루(Blue), 그린(Green) 또는 레드(Red) 색을 낼 수 있다. 따라서 상기 발광소자와 형광체의 결합에 의해 백색광을 낼 수 있다. 예를 들면, 블루(Blue) LED는 옐로우(Yellow) 형광체와 결합하거나 레드(Red)/그린(Green) 형광체와 결합하여 백색광을 낼 수 있다. 다른 예로, 자외선 LED는 레드(Red)/그린(Green)/블루(Blue) 형광체와 결합하여 백색광을 낼 수 있다. 따라서, 상기 발광소자에 따라 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)를 구성함으로써, 백색광을 출력하는 조명 장치를 구현할 수가 있다.
더 구체적인 적용 예를 들자면, 백색광은 레드(Red), 그린(Green), 블루(Blue)의 3원색의 혼합 또는 보색관계에 있는 2색의 혼합에 의해 실현할 수 있다. 3원색에 의한 백색광은 상기 발광소자가 방출한 1차광을 흡수하여 레드(Red) 색을 발광하는 제 1 형광체와, 그린(Green) 색을 발광하는 제 2 형광체 및 블루(Blue) 색을 방출하는 제 3 형광체를 이용함으로써 실현할 수 있다. 따라서, 상기 제 1 내지 제 3 형광체를 이용하여 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)를 구성하면 백색광의 조명 장치를 구현할 수 있다.
또한, 블루(Blue) 광을 방출하는 LED와, 그 블루(Blue) 광을 흡수하여 레드(Red) 색을 발광하는 제 1 형광체와 그린(Green) 색을 발광하는 제 2 형광체를 이용하여 1차광과 2차광을 혼합시켜 백색광을 실현할 수도 있다. 이 역시 상기 제 1 및 제 2 형광체를 사용하여 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)를 구현함으로써, 백색광을 구현하는 조명 장치를 구현할 수 있다.
아울러, 보색에 의한 백색발광은, 상술한 예시 외에, 예컨대 상기 발광소자로부터 1차광을 흡수하여 블루(Blue) 색을 발광하는 제 1 형광체와 옐로우(Yellow) 색을 발광하는 제 2 형광체를 이용하거나, 상기 발광소자로부터의 발광을 흡수하여 그린(Green) 색을 발광하는 제 1 형광체와 레드(Red) 색을 발광하는 제 2 형광체를 이용함으로써 실현할 수 있다. 이 역시 상기 제 1 및 제 2 형광체를 사용하여 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)를 구현함으로써, 백색광을 구현하는 조명 장치를 구현할 수 있다.
상술한 실시 예에서, 블루(Blue) 형광체에는 ZnS:Ag, ZnS:Ag+In2O3, ZnS:Zn+In2O3, (Ba, Eu)MgAl10O17 등이 있으며, 그린(Green) 형광체에는 ZnS:Cu, Y2Al5O12:Tb, Y2O2S:Tb 등이 있으며, 레드(Red) 형광체에는 Y2O2S:Eu, Y2O3:Eu, YVO4:Eu 등이 있다. 또한 옐로우(Yellow) 형광체로는 YAG:Ge, YAG:Ce 등이 사용될 수 있다.
계속해서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)이 배치된 상기 기판(10) 상에는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)가 배치되어 있다.
상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)는 도 1 및 도 2에 도시된 바와 같이, 상기 기판(10)에서 수직으로 형성된 원통 형상의 측면과, 상기 측면 상에 구형 또는 반구형으로 형성된 곡면을 포함하고 있다. 이 때, 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30, 50)의 측면은 각각 제 1 발광 칩(20)의 두께(A) 및 제 2 발광 칩(40)의 두께(B) 이상의 높이를 가진다. 또한, 제 1 렌즈부(30)의 측면의 적어도 일부분과 제 2 렌즈부(50)의 측면의 적어도 일부분은 서로 접한다. 따라서, 제 1 렌즈부(30)와 제 2 렌즈부(50)의 위쪽에서 바라보면, 2개의 원형이 서로 연결된 땅콩 형상으로 보일 수 있다. 제 1 발광 칩(20)의 높이와 제 2 발광 칩(40)의 높이는 서로 다르며, 제 1 렌즈부(30)의 곡면의 높이(a+A)와 제 2 렌즈부(50)의 곡면의 높이(d+B)는 서로 다르다.
상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)는 160°이상의 빔 각도를 갖는 구면 또는 비구면 렌즈(aspherics)로 구성될 수 있다. 또한, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)는 구형 또는 반구형으로 형성될 수 있으나 오목 또는 볼록 형상으로도 구성될 수 있다. 여기서, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)는 에폭시 수지, 실리콘수지, 우레탄계 수지 또는 그 혼합물로 형성될 수 있다.
이러한 구성을 갖는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)에서 나오는 광의 지향각을 증가시켜 상기 조명 장치의 선형 광원의 균일성을 향상시킬 수 있다.
또한, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)는 상기 기판(10)과 접촉되는 바닥면에 반사층(미도시)이 형성될 수 있다. 이때, 상기 반사층은 금속 예컨대, 알루미늄(Al), 구리(Cu), 백금(Pt), 은(Ag), 티타늄(Ti), 크롬(Cr), 금(Au), 니켈(Ni)을 포함하는 금속물질 중에서 선택된 적어도 어느 한 물질로 단층 또는 복합층으로 증착(deposition), 스퍼터링(sputtering), 도금(plating), 인쇄(printing) 등의 방법으로 형성될 수 있다.
이러한 구성을 갖는 실시 예의 조명 장치는, 블루 칩 옐로우 포스퍼(Blue Chip Yellow Phosphor)와 레드 칩(Red Chip)을 적용한 2in1 칩 패키지(Chip Package)의 렌즈 설계를 통해 빛의 강도(intensity)에 따른 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference) 값을 0.006 이하로 맞춰줌으로써, 컬러 공간의 균일성(Uniformity)을 달성하고, 160°이상의 빔 각도와 78% 이상의 광 효율을 갖는 하이(High) CRI를 구현하도록 다음과 같이 설계될 수 있다.
도 2를 참조하여 설명하면, 상기 제 1 발광 칩(20) 중앙 위의 렌즈 레진(Lens Resin) 높이를 a, 상기 제 1 발광 칩(20) 가장자리 위의 렌즈 레진 높이를 b, 상기 제 2 발광 칩(40) 중앙 위의 렌즈 레진(Lens Resin) 높이를 d, 상기 제 2 발광 칩(40) 가장자리 위의 렌즈 레진 높이를 e라 가정할 때, 상기 제 1 렌즈부의 세그(Sag; 기울기의 정도) 변화율(c)은 "(a-b)/(s1/2)"의 식으로 나타낼 수 있고, 상기 제 2 렌즈부의 세그(Sag) 변화율(f)은 "(d-e)/(s2/2)"의 식으로 나타낼 수 있다. 이때, 상기 s1 및 s2는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40)의 크기를 각각 나타낸다.
또한, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)의 세그(Sag) 변화율(g)은 상기 제 2 렌즈부(40)의 세그(Sag) 변화율(f)에 상기 제 1 렌즈부의 세그(Sag) 변화율(c)을 나누기 한 "g/f"의 식으로 나타낼 수 있다.
또한, 기울기 율(Slope rate)(h)은 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50) 중앙 간의 기울기(LS)에 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40) 중앙 간의 기울기(CS)를 나누기 한 "LS/CS"의 식으로 나타낼 수 있다. 이때, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50) 중앙 간의 기울기(LS)는 상기 제 1 및 렌즈부(30)의 최상면과 상기 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)의 최상면의 수평 거리, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30, 50)의 높이 차이로부터 산출할 수 있으며, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩(20,40) 중앙 간의 기울기(CS)는 상기 제 1 발광 칩(20)의 중앙과 상기 제 2 발광 칩(40)의 중앙의 수평 거리, 상기 제 1 발광 칩(20)과 상기 제 2 발광 칩(40)의 높이 차이로부터 산출할 수 있다.
한편, 실시 예의 조명 장치는 후술하는 도 3 내지 도 6의 시뮬레이션을 통해, 빛의 강도(intensity)에 따른 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference)가 0.006 이하의 값을 가질 때, 컬러 공간의 균일성(Uniformity)과 160°이상의 빔 각도와 78% 이상의 광 효율을 구현할 수 있음을 밝혔냈다.
따라서 실시 예에서는, 블루 칩 옐로우 포스퍼(Blue Chip Yellow Phosphor)와 레드 칩(Red Chip)을 적용한 2in1 칩 패키지(Chip Package)의 렌즈 설계를 통해, 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference)의 값이 0.006 이하를 갖도록 다음과 같은 관계식을 도출하였다.
즉, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)의 세그(Sag) 변화율(g)에 상기 기울기 율(Slope rate)(h)을 나누기 한 "g/h" 식의 결과 값(i)이 -0.2~0.1㎜의 범위를 가질 때, 상기 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference)의 값이 0.006 이하를 만족하였다.
따라서 실시 예는, 상기 결과 값(i)의 "g/h" 식으로부터, 상기 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference)의 값이 0.006 이하를 만족하도록, 블루 칩 옐로우 포스퍼(Blue Chip Yellow Phosphor)와 레드 칩(Red Chip)을 적용한 2in1 칩 패키지(Chip Package)의 렌즈를 설계함으로써, 컬러 공간의 균일성(Uniformity)과, 160°이상의 빔 각도와 78% 이상의 광 효율을 갖는 하이(High) CRI를 구현할 수 있다.
시뮬레이션(Simulation) 예
도 3은 실시 예에 의한 조명 장치의 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference) 값을 시뮬레이션한 결과 그래프이고, 도 4는 실시 예에 의한 조명 장치의 스팩트럼 분포와 CRI를 나타낸 그래프이고, 도 5는 실시 예에 의한 조명 장치의 광도 분포를 나타낸 시뮬레이션 그래프이고, 도 6은 실시 예에 의한 조명 장치의 색좌표를 나타낸 도면이다.
먼저, 도 3은 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)의 세그(Sag) 변화율(g)/기울기 율(Slope rate)(h)의 결과 값이 상기 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference)의 값이 0.006 이하를 만족하는 범위를 시뮬레이션한 결과 그래프이다.
상기 시뮬레이션 결과, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부(30,50)의 세그(Sag) 변화율(g)/기울기 율(Slope rate)(h)의 결과 값(i)이 -0.2~0.1㎜의 범위를 가질 때, 상기 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference)의 값이 0.006 이하를 만족하였다.
또한, 실시 예의 조명 장치는 도 4의 그래프와 같이, 파장(Wavelength)이 600~650㎚ 범위에서 CRI(color rendering index; 연색 평가 지수)가 가장 높게 나타났고, 도 5와 같이, 160°이상의 빔 각도를 갖는 것으로 시뮬레이션을 통해 밝혀졌다.
또한, 실시 예의 조명 장치는 도 6의 색좌표에서 볼 수 있듯이, 최대 조도(Max Illuminance)가 0.00405이고, 최소 조도(Min Illuminance)가 1.354e-05이고, 광 효율(Efficiency)이 78.006%이고, CRI(Color Rendition Index Numbers; 연색 지수)가 89.23이고, CCT(Correlated Color Temperature; 상관 색온도)가 3706.6으로 나타났으며, 중심부에 암부가 발견되지 않았다.
따라서, 실시 예의 조명 장치는 블루 칩 옐로우 포스퍼(Blue Chip Yellow Phosphor) + 레드 칩(Red Chip)을 적용한 패키지의 렌즈 설계를 통해, 컬러 공간의 균일성(Uniformity)과 하이(High) CRI를 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 확인할 수 있었다.
상술한 바와 같이, 실시 예에 따른 조명 장치 및 그의 설계 방법은, 블루 칩 옐로우 포스퍼(Blue Chip Yellow Phosphor)와 레드 칩(Red Chip)을 적용한 2in1 칩 패키지(Chip Package)를 사용하여 빛의 강도(intensity)에 따른 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference) 값을 0.006 이하로 맞춰 하이(High) CRI를 구현함으로써, 본 발명의 기술적 과제를 해결할 수가 있다.
이상에서 실시 예를 중심으로 설명하였으나 이는 단지 예시일 뿐 본 발명을 한정하는 것이 아니며, 본 발명이 속하는 분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 본 실시 예의 본질적인 특성을 벗어나지 않는 범위에서 이상에 예시되지 않은 여러 가지의 변형과 응용이 가능함을 알 수 있을 것이다. 예를 들어, 실시 예에 구체적으로 나타난 각 구성 요소는 변형하여 실시할 수 있는 것이다. 그리고 이러한 변형과 응용에 관계된 차이점들은 첨부된 청구 범위에서 규정하는 본 발명의 범위에 포함되는 것으로 해석되어야 할 것이다.
Claims (12)
- 기판;상기 기판 상에 배치된 제 1 발광 칩;상기 제 1 발광 칩과 소정 간격 이격된 상기 기판 상의 위치에 배치된 제 2 발광칩;상기 제 1 발광칩의 두께 이상의 높이를 가지는 원통 형상의 제 1 측면 및 상기 제 1 측면 상에 구형 또는 반구형으로 형성된 제 1 곡면을 포함하며, 상기 제 1 발광칩을 에워싸도록 형성된 제 1 렌즈부;상기 제 2 발광칩의 두께 이상의 높이를 가지는 원통 형상의 제 2 측면 및 상기 제 2 측면 상에 구형 또는 반구형으로 형성된 제 2 곡면을 포함하며, 상기 제 2 발광칩을 에워싸도록 형성된 제 2 렌즈부를 포함하고,상기 제 1 측면의 적어도 일부분과 상기 제 2 측면의 적어도 일부분은 서로 접하는 조명 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 곡면의 높이와 상기 제 2 곡면의 높이는 서로 다른 조명 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 발광칩의 두께와 상기 제 2 발광칩의 두께는 서로 다른 조명 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 렌즈부의 세그(Sag; 기울기의 정도) 변화율을 f, 상기 제 1 렌즈부의 세그(Sag) 변화율을 c, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부의 세그(Sag) 변화율을 g, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 렌즈부 중앙 간의 기울기를 LS, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 발광 칩 중앙 간의 기울기를 CS, 기울기 율(Slope rate)을 h라고 하면,g = f/c, h = LS/CS, g/h = 결과 값(i)으로 정의하며,상기 결과 값(i)은 빛의 강도(intensity)에 따른 소정의 컬러 디퍼런스(Color Difference) 값을 만족하도록 상기 제 1 및 2 발광 칩과 상기 제 1 및 2 렌즈부를 설계한 조명 장치.
- 제 4항에 있어서,상기 소정의 컬러 디퍼런스(Color difference) 값은 0.006 이하인 조명 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 결과 값(i)은 -0.2 내지 0.1mm 의 범위 내에서 어느 하나의 값을 가지는 조명 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 렌즈부의 세그(Sag) 변화율(c)은 (a-b)/(s1/2)로 나타내고,상기 제 2 렌즈부의 세그(Sag) 변화율(f)은 (d-e)/(s2/2)로 나타내는,(a: 상기 제 1 발광 칩 중앙 위의 렌즈 레진(Lens Resin) 높이, b: 상기 제 1 발광 칩 가장자리 위의 렌즈 레진 높이, s1: 상기 제 1 발광 칩의 크기, d: 상기 제 2 발광 칩 중앙 위의 렌즈 레진(Lens Resin) 높이, e: 상기 제 2 발광 칩 가장자리 위의 렌즈 레진 높이, s2: 상기 제 2 발광 칩의 크기)조명 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 발광 칩은 블루 칩(Blue chip)이고, 상기 제 2 발광 칩은 레드 칩(Red chip)인 조명 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 발광 칩 또는 상기 제 2 발광 칩은, 블루 칩과, 옐로우 형광체 또는 그린 형광체를 단일 또는 복수로 사용하여 구성된 조명 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 발광 칩 또는 상기 제 2 발광 칩은, 자외선 발광 칩과 청색, 녹색, 적색 형광체의 1 이상의 물질 또는 2 이상의 혼합물을 사용하여 구성된 조명 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 1 렌즈부와 상기 제 2 렌즈부는 에폭시 수지, 실리콘 수지, 우레탄계 수지 중 어느 하나 또는 그 혼합물로 구성된 조명 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 렌즈부와 상기 제 2 렌즈부는 비구면 렌즈인 조명 장치.
