Definitions

  • the invention relates to a folding case, which is particularly suitable for the storage of glasses.
  • a prismatic spectacle case is known, which can be generated by a special folding interconnected planar surfaces. Two surfaces can be connected to each other by means of a magnetic closure or a Velcro fastener.
  • the spectacle case can be folded when not in use in a relatively flat configuration. In the folded state, however, there are still several side surfaces on top of each other.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a case available that can be brought when not in use in a flat configuration as possible and is flexible in terms of its functionality and its design.
  • a hinged case for spectacles according to the invention comprises at least a) a bottom surface, b) a plurality of side surfaces adjoining the bottom surface, and

  • Magnetic elements according to the invention are permanently magnetic, electromagnetic and magnetizable elements. It is only decisive that a combination of such magnetic elements is used, which fulfills the functions specified in claim 1. This is the case, for example, when permanent magnets are combined with each other and / or with magnetizable elements. Concrete options for the selection and arrangement of magnetic elements is related with the dependent claims and the description of the figures discussed in more detail.

  • the closure of a case according to the invention is particularly reliable and durable, if two cover surfaces or two side surfaces in the folded state overlap at least partially and come into contact with each other. With regard to the required use of materials and the production costs, it is preferable if only the smallest possible surface areas overlap. The safety of the closure, however, is higher, the stronger the force acting between the cover elements magnetic force. This can be effected at a given maximum thickness of a surface, in particular by enlarging the overlapping partial surfaces. It should be noted that instead of a single bottom surface and a plurality of top surfaces also a single top surface and a plurality of bottom surface can be used. It is therefore understood that the terms top surface and bottom surface are interchangeable.
