  • a disabled person may adjust the height of the seat and may be positioned in the position declined to the vertical, i.e. to carry out a treatment, to put sb. on a drip or to increase the comfort of the person during rest.
  • the change of the adjustment of the seat, and simultaneously, changing the positioning of the person on the wheelchair prevents the formation of decubitus ulcers, as thanks to the tilting of the seat it is possible to change the direction of the centre of gravity on the disabled person, without the necessity of making any movement by the person - the seat may be titled even by 50°, hence the person may be titled from the seating position to the semi-lying position.
  • the lift is a thin block thanks to which the person sitting in the wheelchair has an easy access to the table; the legs may be easily located (put under) under the table top.
  • the wheelchair may be used even by heavily ill person, weighting up to 200 kg - it is possible due to a cam construction of the lift and tilt system, thanks to which it is possible to obtain a beneficial low values of the forces acting on the lift systems.
  • the lift is very static even when the seat is lifted high, as due to the change of the tilt angle it is easy to adjust the positioning of the centre of gravity of the patient-wheelchair system.
  • the elaborated lift may have also other industrial applications, i.e. in transport or production course.
  • the object of the invention is show in the execution example on the picture, where the lift with the lifted upper frame and tilted plate was shown from the side view.
  • the upper frame I consists of a horizontal stable part 2 and tilt plate 3.
  • the tilt plate 3 is rotationally and slidably deposited with bolts 8 in the guides 4 of the stable part 2.
  • the second support of the tilt plate 3 is the tilt arms 5 which are connected with the tilt plate 3 rotationally with the use of the bolts 6.
  • the tilt arms 5 are deposited with the lower end in the bolt 7, fixed in the stable part 2 of the upper frame 1.
  • the tilt system constitutes an actuator 9, deposited with one end rotationally in the stable part 2, and with the second end rotationally fixed with the lever 10.
  • the lever 10 is permanently deposited on the axis IT, where also the cam 12 is seated. In the cam 12 there is a slit 13, where the bolt 14 seated in arms 5 is displaced.
  • the basis of the lift is the lower frame 16, where the arms ⁇ 7 and 18 of the scissor jack mechanism are rotationally fixed.
  • the arms 7 and 1_8 are rotationally fixed in the lower frame 16 as well as in the upper frame 1 - they combine both frames.
  • the drive of the scissor jack mechanism is an actuator 19, rotationally deposited on the bolt 20 in the lower frame 16 and with the other end rotationally deposited in the lift 24 on the bolt 25.
  • the lift 24 is permanently deposited on the axis 21, fixed rotationally on the bolt 21 in the lower part 16.
  • Cams 22 of the lift system are permanently seated on the axis 21.
  • the cams 22 have slits 23, where the bolt 26 is deposited, which is permanently seated in the driver arm 18.
  • the operation of the lift is the following: when folded, the upper frame I lies on the lower frame 16 - the lift is a flat block of 80mm. While sitting on the wheelchair, the person may adjust the height according to preferences - for that purpose, the person activates the actuator 19, which by pressing against the lift 24 with the use of bolt 25 causes its turn around the axis 21, thus causing the turn of the cams 22 and movement of the bolt 26, positioned in the slit 23 of the cam 22. The movement of the bolt 26 in the slit 23 of the cam 22 causes the movement of the arms 17 and 18, hence also the lifting of the upper frame ]_.
  • the stable part 2 of the upper frame I is during lifting constantly parallel to the lower frame 16. For the tilt of the seat from the level, the tilt system 9 is activated.
  • the line movement of the actuator 9 causes the rotational movement of the lever 10 of the tilt system and simultaneously the rotational movement of the cams 12 of the tilt system.
  • the bolt 14, deposited in the arms 5 is dislocated in the slit 13 in the cams 12 and causes the tilting of the tilt plate 3. Simultaneously, the lower end of the tilt plate 3 slides on the bolts 8 in the guide 4 located in the stable part 2 of the upper frame 1.
  • the lift and tilt system act independently from one another, they may be switched on simultaneously or separately one from the other.
  • the lift-cam lifting system and the same tilt system cause that the actuator 19 activates the lift mechanism at little force and similarly the actuator 9 activates the tilt mechanism also at a little force.
