Definitions

  • the present invention request is directed to a Mexican mining hopper, which applies to all types of loading conditions, adapting to a variety of specific conditions of each mining operation, and which mainly allows easy assembly and disassembly of the sections that constitute the floor, side walls, front wall and visor.
  • a disadvantage that the hoppers possess is the means by which it is transported, from its place of manufacture to the place of slaughter. Due to the large size of the hoppers, a route feasibility study must be carried out, which depends directly on the road authority of the area to be traveled. When transport is international, the problem is maximized because the expenses increase due to the large size and weight of the hopper.
  • the present invention patent application attacks the various problems explained above, in an efficient and effective manner at the same time. Offering an innovative solution, of high inventive level and susceptible of industrial application that reduces risks and costs.
  • the mechanical hopper presented in this application allows easy assembly and disassembly of the sections that constitute the floor, the side walls, the front wall and visor, greatly reducing the time required for these tasks. Because its joints are mainly made by bolts, it has the condition of being a mechano hopper, so welding removal processes should not be incurred, concentrating only on the extraction of bolts from the hopper sections. Thanks to an arduous engineering study, it was possible to dispense almost completely with the welding joints, identifying the areas where the highest tensions are produced due to the loading and unloading of the hopper in order to determine precisely where the bolt joints both of the steel plates as of their sectioned beams that make up their structure.
  • a remarkable feature of the Mexican mining hopper is its sectioned design, which allows the change of the components (side, visor, front and floor) that are only affected in the repair. This factor is also extremely important when transporting the hopper to the site, because it is done in sections and then assembled on site. Which in cases of miners that are at great heights above sea level, where the access road to them is through tunnels, greatly favors. In the case of the process of assembly in the field, being mecano, the required welding is minimal because the great majority of the joints are bolted, reducing the chances of welding failures and the inputs that it requires.
